Bloody typical! Of all the days for Koei Tecmo to date the fourth (?) Omega Force title of the year, it had to pick one when Robert Ramsey is out of the bleedin' office. No matter, your humble host will wear his weeb hat and soldier on all the same: Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom will release on 26th August in Europe and 30th August in North America on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Vita. It'll be available digitally on all three systems, and physically on Sony's new-gen format.
From the press release: "The game closely follows the riveting story line of Attack on Titan's first season and focuses on the exploits of various key characters, putting the player in a position to relive the anime's most shocking, courageous, and exhilarating moments. It revolves around the story of three young people who survive the destruction of their walled city district by enormous, man-eating Titans and eventually go on to join the Scout Regiment in order to protect humanity from this overpowering foe." What else is there to say?

Looks alright. Wonder if Eren can turn into a Titan in this game. That'd be awesome.
@WanderingBullet The game is already out. You can watch gameplay online. And yes, he can.
@Riririn Thanks, I'll go look for them later.
Are there any impressions of the Japanese version yet? Been meaning to watch the rest of the series (got up to Eren joining the scouts.
@adf86 Looks decent enough. There are some story missions you have to clear following the manga/anime pretty closely. You'll play as different characters. I have yet to see the online mode tho.

Google "Attack On Titan' Review: The First Game For The Series That Gets It Right". It's a review at Forbes.
@get2sammyb Saw the title and assumed it would be written by Shogun as you never put PS3 in the title, so that opening was pretty funny.
Off topic - figure it's OK since he's out of the office - I just found out Quantum Break is out today, you hearing anything about that sales wise or moving hardware? It's supposed to be a big Xbox One title right? Target has an X1 plus the game and Alan Wake for $299. I was hoping for something like that with Uncharted 4, console, and the Trilogy for $349 but that collectors edition has me thinking maybe not happening. But I'll keep my eye open just in case some retail or offers what Sony won't. That PS4k though...
Can't wait the game looks great
Took me a solid minute of staring at the picture to realize that the cardboard looking plank in the center was a sword.
10/10.StillHyped.
@Riririn Here's Kotaku playing Attack on Titan's multiplayer.
