Wow, didn't see this one coming. Not a big fan of Horizon but Aloy sure is a welcome to Genshin. This can also open up for more guest characters in the future.
Gave it a 10. I don't think it's a perfect game and it does have some issues but my overall enjoyment playing this game has overshadowed some of its flaws. It's one of the most satisfying AAA game that I've played.
Just had to re-read the article to make sure I'm not misinterpreting anything. Still, I feel like anything Jim says nowadays could be taken against the PS brand. Wait till this article explodes on Social Media
Sony seems to be too confident with their blockbuster games that they feel one or two of their exclusive games a year will suffice. No doubt that the PS5 will be successful but I doubt their tactics will be on the same level as the PS4 era. Who knows, maybe PSX is all we can hope for.
This was the first Persona game that I've played and still to this day, my personal favorite. I remember the feeling of emptiness after beating the game and kept replaying it over and over again. P4 and P5 are great but P3 had the most impact to me.
Maybe Persona Q3 (The only Persona game aside from Strikers that is likely to come to Switch). Personally, I'd love to get a remastered version of Persona 3 and I guess at this point, P6 is already confirmed. Only a matter of time before we see a reveal trailer (C'mon State of Play, surprise me on your next showcase with this one)
Pretty decent presentation despite the lack of heavy AAA games. It is just as what they want you to expect. My favorites are definitely Death Stranding Director's Cut, Sifu, Demon Slayer, Lost Judgement and that F.I.S.T game also looks great
@Ralizah A Switch Lite with OLED would be great (And probably the Vita 2.0 that we never had lol). Would be even better if the Vanillaware Vita games get ported to the Switch, I might end up dropping the Vita completely.
Reading all these made me glad I'm a Vita owner. It's way ahead of its time and with all these amazing feats, you really had to wonder why Sony didn't support it fully. It's really sad to think about it but at least with all these Switch OLED talks made people realize how underrated the Vita was.
I do love the OLED display of the Vita. Vanillaware games and other 2D games look gorgeous on it. I know this Switch OLED didn't improve much but it would be interesting to see how good the games will look in handheld. Shame that Sony don't see much value on the handheld market. The Vita sure is one great portable console despite its failure
@snowfreak2574 lol, agreed, the Eshop is still a mess and something that Nintendo needs to work on. Once you find the game that you wanted though, you're all set and just enjoy the games in handheld mode (Though I play mine in dock most of the time)
Which is why I prefer the Switch when it comes to indies. There's a lot of indie games that goes on sale. Hope Sony addresses the issue and not just Jim Ryan speaking nonsense again.
@Porco SE is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Mana series so it makes sense that they wanted to remaster LOM (plus an upcoming anime) and I'm sure SE is open to remastering more of their classic JRPGs.
One of my all time favorite JRPG. This is one of those games that I kept replaying every year since the PS1 era but I get why this could be a hard game to recommend. Still, part of the charm of LOM is discovering different stories, regardless of how big or small it is and it's up to you on which story to start, continue and close. The only problem I have with this game is that the protagonist lacks some backstory but still not much of an issue. I love the multiple plots, even the small ones are very interesting to see and the music scores are so good.
Well, I'm still getting it on PS4 for $20 since I don't have a PS5 yet. I'm glad that I don't have to deal with the upgrade dilemma
P.S. I'm still willing to add $10 for a PS5 upgrade. I mean the features are worth it. I mean people are willing to pay for $60 for switch ports for Pete's sake, this is isn't much of an issue.
I do love that they'll build a strong relationship with the devs before acquiring them and even if they don't, you know these devs would want to work with Sony again for exclusive games.
Tried the demo, while there are some interesting aspects with the combat, there's really nothing much that makes it very unique. I'll probably wait before getting this. Maybe after MH Stories 2
So much yes for this! The Fatal Frame series remains as my all time favorite horror games. I would love to play a Fatal Frame game on PS4. I'm hoping for an HD remaster for the first three games especially Crimson Butterfly and hopefully, we get an English port of Fatal Frame 4 as well.
Man, this demo is pure "Chaos" but I'm just glad that they released this early. At least they can work on some improvements, provided that they are open for feedbacks.
Didn't watch the whole Xbox presentation, just a recap from Youtube. While the games presented are decent, I feel like they aren't for me. When it comes to Bethesda, I don't really see any games that interested me, even the Fallout series or the Elder Scrolls series so having their future games, plus Starfield being exclusive isn't much of a loss for me but I guess it is for a lot of PS fans. The only game that I liked was Eiyuden Chronicle and even that game is coming out on PS and maybe Switch. Xbox is really focused on Gamepass since a lot has been announced for that service and I guess it's nice for those who likes it but for me, I still prefer having the games physically.
This was my childhood game and still today, one of my all time favorite JRPG. Seeing this new animated trailer sure gave me a bit of nostalgia. I've played the game on PS1, PSP, PS Vita, PS3 and now, I can't wait to replay this all over again on my PS4.
Nothing too exciting for me but I do love the animated trailer for Legend of Mana Remastered. The new Final Fantasy Origin game is pretty underwhelming and not sure why the Classic Final Fantasy games aren't coming to major consoles, on the Switch at the very least. Was hoping they would at least end the presentation with Final Fantasy XVI but damn... My only hope now is if Sony will do a State of Play soon but I still wouldn't keep my expectations high.
For some "warriors of light" they sure look edgy. I guess this was the souls-like game that's been rumored and turns out, not a PS exclusive. Kinda underwhelmed with the characters and gameplay tbh but will still keep an eye on this one.
I really need to get into this series before it gets expanded more like Yakuza. As much as I wanted to play the Yakuza games, there's already a lot that it makes me feel lazy to play all of them
@BansheeNorn Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart and if you follow the recent news, you will know that there are more to come as Sony is banking on the PS5 exclusives in the coming years. Some may have a PC port but not all of them.
@BansheeNorn Does it play exclusive games that aren't available on other platforms though? Backwards compatibility is nice and all but like I said and based on sales, Exclusives matter, something that Sony and Nintendo are doing so well. Not trying to ditch Xbox but that's reality. Exclusives sell your console. Why does Sony needs an excuse not to have full backwards compatibility when their exclusives are what sells their system? Same with the Switch. Just look at how popular it is despite not having any full on backwards compatibility. Microsoft needs all the push they can get, including a backwards compatibility to sell the Series X
To think that only 30 people are working on this game is really amazing. The only concern I have so far are the sound effects which doesn't seem to align with the combat mechanic. Hope they work on that before the release.

Re: Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Could Come to Consoles If There's Demand, Says Square Enix
I demand them but I'd prefer the pixel arts from the PSP Final Fantasy Anniversary Edition.
Also, SE acting here like Console players wouldn't demand this considering that most of the series were released on consoles
Re: Poll: Ghost of Tsushima Released One Year Ago Today - What Review Score Would You Give It Now?

@ApostateMage Same with Xenoblades. Xenoblades 2 on the other hand.....

Lol, when I saw that character, I thought they were doing a Demon Slayer costume cross-over starting with Tanjiro's hairstyle.
