Picked up Bramble and Planet of Lana in the PlayStation store sale (both under a tenner) which gave me enough Stars points to get a five dollar credit, so I a am considering returning once more for Sleeping Dogs for $5.99. I have never played it and it seems to be well regarded around here.

And Signalis, an excellent old school PS1 style horror game, is on sale for $13.99.

Bramble is on sale for $5.99.

Off topic, but Rockstar today confirmed that Red Dead Redemption 3 is in development. Seems worthy of an article, but not until someone sees it on Reddit first I guess.

Trying to finish Deliver Us Mars before it leaves the subscription service in a few days but some of the laser puzzles with the splitters are taking me longer than they should. Hope I can get it done because I don’t really think the game is worth a purchase to complete (unlike Animal Well which I will be buying as soon as it is on sale).

Animal We’ll was my GOTY last year. The sense of discovery in that game is unparalleled. So many secrets and no hand holding. The game explains nothing. Everything must be figured out on your own. Never was quite able to find all 64 eggs (I came close) but I did get all four flames and I refused to consult a guide. Hate that it’s leaving. I’ll probably end up buying it in a sale one day.

At least the steelbook version includes a disc.

Still playing Split Fiction with my son. It is taking us longer because we have spent so much time killing each other in inventive ways. Sometimes I think the game is designed with that purpose in mind. Haven’t laughed so much during a game in a long time, if ever. I only wish it were cross generation so I could do it all over again on the PS4 for another platinum. I hate to see it end.

The PS4 was one unit short of selling as many as the Xbox Series X.

Would have been the perfect game for a day one premiere on Extra.

@heavyartillery56 It is getting harder for me to tell lately, but I am fairly certain that was sarcasm. I also thought your comment about Call of Duty was sarcasm, but who knows? I think @naruball was suggesting that all these games were fun yet did not see high sales numbers.

Hazelight makes unique co-op games like no other studio, and their second game, a prison break narrative action-adventure called A Way Out, is on sale in the PlayStation store for only $4.49 U.S. I encourage anyone who enjoys co-op games to give it a try. That price is a bargain.

If I am not mistaken, Beat Saber still provides support for the original PSVR, so this should be available on that device as well.

I am a physical enthusiast through and through, but one advantage of digital that I rarely see mentioned is the ability to play the game on two consoles simultaneously with a single purchase. I can buy a digital copy of a multiplayer game and install it on both the consoles in my home. My son can play the game on his account on the system designated as the primary console, and I can play the game with him on our other console using my account. It’s nice to not have to shell out another seventy dollars so we can play a game together. This to me seems the biggest advantage of a digital purchase, but I never see it discussed in the weekly debate.

I realize that Astro Bot is literally a robot, but to classify the game as sci-fi seems a bit of a stretch to me.

I’m just glad that the kid from Home Alone can find a job in this economy.

Got a second PS5 for Christmas, so this weekend I am playing some online multiplayer with my son that are PS5 only. Playing Phasmophobia (his choice) and some Marvel Rivals (mine). Also going to watch Wild at Heart tonight since David Lynch just passed. It’s about time he saw the origin of the snakeskin jacket that Nicolas Cage wears in Dead by Daylight.

Losing the video out to “save a few cents” was a huge mistake.

For those who were not fans of the turn based combat in the more recent Like a Dragon games, The Man Who Erased His Name is a return to the brawling style of the earlier titles in the series.

@Fyz306903. Thanks for pointing out Oxenfree II is on sale. I loved the first game (thought the dialogue choice mechanic should become the standard in games with branching dialogue) and 70% off is quite a deal. Grabbing it now.

Could not Sony have purchased these shares without talks of a takeover while the stock price was still low? All they achieved was inflating the stock price before purchasing the shares.

It’s close with a little over 2000 votes, but I am really surprised (and pleased) to see Ghost of Yotei with a slight lead over GTA6.

Have to agree with Stephen. I love a quality couch co-op game that I can play with my son and that is what Hazelight does best. Plus, Split Fiction is only three months away, so I can actually get excited.

I am thrilled for the Hazelight Studios game Split Fiction. I love a quality couch co-op game that I can play with my son, and it is only three months until release. Now that is something I can get excited about, unlike The Witcher 4. As good as that trailer looked, the game itself is realistically four years away.

Loved this game and thought it would be perfect for a handheld. Unfortunately I did not yet have a Portal when I played, so a sequel sounds great.
