@somnambulance I've told you countless times you can use anything the portal does on ANY 200 dollar device out there. I'm not going to repeat myself over and over again. Ignorance is bliss as they say. That's something I wish I could do is ignore the faults of something. But no I can't.

@somnambulance I don't know why you keep saying you need more expensive devices to run ps streaming srvices. It don't take a 2,500 dollar pc let alone a 500 or even 200 dollar pc to run that.

It's not subjective whether it's good or bad. It's science and facts. You also don't need to use garbage to know it's garbage. I know nvidias streaming service is better just by looking at it. And you can use that on almost any device too. I'm not harsh on that because it's that good. That's how that works my guy.

They need to sort out the input lag the ps5 has first. Don't bring that on the ps6 with this. Becuase framegen can be really bad for latency. This is also the only way I see ps6 will be able to use path tracing at 60 fps.

@Reeneman It's not bs. I was for the pro. You're over generalizing. Ps5 pro was a huge disappointment since pssr1 was having major issues almost in every game. Especially the popular ue5 ones. I also never said the ps6 was unneccessary. You're putting words in my mouth. I said it is a pointless purchase for pro owners and said exactly why that is. If Mark can somehow get path tracing and framegen to work on ps6 then I'd say pro owners might have a reason to upgrade. But if not then they might as well wait for the ps6 pro.

@8bitOG It's an extraction shooter so yeah they do better on pc. And since that's the case this game is in deep trouble.

@somnambulance When you get used to tasting garbage it can also start to taste good. The portal itself is irrelavent my guy. I don't know why this is so hard for you to understand. Forget the device itself. Sony's streaming service is trash. The portal is just a random tablet with a terrible screen put on a dual sense they cut in half. It runs nothing natively. I can use my pc, steam deck, phone, tablet as a portal and it won't change anything except have a nicer screen.

Honestly looking forward the ps6 is kinda pointless purchase if you own a pro. Crossgen will be a thing for a long LONG time and you still have the pssr features on pro. And we know it takes devs a whole generation now to make games for a system. By then the ps6 pro will be out and you might as well wait for that.

It's medieval korean rockstar game. It def wants to be a rockstar game.

@somnambulance It's not excessive. It's a fact. For 200 dollars you should have gotten a better screen especially considering nothing runs on it natively to begin with. It runs with input lag regardless of your internet speed. Sony's services do not take full advantage of high speed internet. Streaming is a very delicate thing. The only company that has mastered it is Nvidia.

If you're streaming you don't need a new phone. What don't you understand it doesn't run natively on the device?

@Marquez "excellent" to ps fanboys yes. I've played with tons of different devices. You can use the same services the portal offers on ANY other device and get a better experience with a better screen and lets face it better controllers. You ever wonder why it's niche in the first place?

@somnambulance The portal has a garbage screen. No where near nice and the insane input lag on their garbage service makes games unbearable to play. It's also streaming. Games are not running natively on in. It depends on your internet or whatever internet you are using.

It's def Ada. They even reworked some of their dialouge in the remakes. Even Ada being impressed by his new skills in combat and constantly worried about him. Even offering that "greeting" he wanted. I had just replayed seperate ways and there's a scene where ada just looks at how ashley is worried about leon while he fights saddler. Either realizing she has competiton or seeing what leon fights for so much.

The only thing that throws this out of loop with either claire or ada. Is zero mention of them. They were in raccoon city along side hunk as well. We know hunk was infected. Yet leon never mentions either of them. Neither does sherry for that matter.

I'd also like to know if leon has a lil one running around and that's why claire/ada couldn't help him. Which I thought was odd because Neither of them would let him go it alone.

The other possibility was sherry. She has a ring in the art work too. I'm not as creeped out by this like others. Actually would find it hilarious. considering Alex situation. I don't think capcom cares about weird. Don't think they ever did. Especially if you played code veronica you'd know this.

It does make most of its sales on pc. If all resi does is good sales in the U.S. for ps5 there's a whole other world out there where people own more pcs than consoles.

Re4 remake, silent hill f, dragons dogma 2, mh wilds, ff7 rebirth, demon souls, control and the upcoming cyberpunk one are the ones I’m most excited to check out. Been holding off on a lot of games until this update. Now I have a pssr 2 specific backlog to enjoy. Reminds me of when the ps5 first came out and it was exciting to go back to games that were 30 fps on ps4 then 60 on ps5.

Also curious how Wolverine and gta vi will handle it.

@LowDefAl I think for a game like star field it makes sense. Game looks rough. But re9 and oblivion is just pushing it. But yeah I hope devs control this better. Or have it be a setting like frame gen and which dlss mode you want. A.i. slop filter on or off type of setting.

God please let this be a sign of themes making some sort of comeback. So many great ones on ps4. My favs were tifa in nibleheim, and persona 5/royal. They had so much style and were peaceful.

Also can’t wait to get home and try out some new games with the pssr2 update. Debating what game to try out first. Was curious about re4 remake since I don’t have the plat yet.

Worse part is some devs are for this. Making my ps5 pro looking like the way to go for any game if this catches on to every game.

Being outdated doesn't matter. What matters if it can be played offline without the need to update like crimson desert. The answer is no. So no buy.

Without the star wars mod this game is just a snoozefest.

I already canceled my ps5 version. I'm not supporting a game key disc. Whoever champions this aren't even people who buy physical media to begin with. They should have released a physical version later then, if they wanted to avoid spoilers. Which by the way you can easily avoid. .

Nah, doubt it. Especially with the current market. This will be a pricey handheld next year. Unless they somehow made loads of them and stocked up before the ram crisis.

@lazarus11 The difference is that there is no difference. That's the point. Disc requires internet. Download requieres internet. Discs that require internet are not versions that can be preserved well and are basically key carts. If I have to download something why not just I don't know...download the game and not waste space on my shelf with a fake physical? I don't buy physical media that requires internet at all. Defeats the entire purpose. It's not mental. Just got to use your brain a little.

Control I'm interested in. Alan wake 2 is a very overhyped game. There's no reason to go back to it for me. I am interested however in how pssr2 will help.

@Max_the_German NONE of these games are on ps or xbox. Yet all of a sudden this one goes to xbox and not ps. Damn right people are going to be suspicious.

Well the writting was getting stale. It had it's moments but it's def time to end it once and for all. Then just focus on those beautiful remakes. So it's not like trails is leaving for good.

@Coversnail God I hope not. Reverie was a mess. If anything I hope only the main characters from each trails with their respective waifus/husbandos return as party members/guests and that's it.
