@jolteon23 You don't nerf things after people got used to them. That turns people off from your game. Either make the game harder by adding new enemies/mechanics (which is what the whole damn seasons are about) or add harder modes. The whole point of these games is to grind towards the end. If my character is weak that means grinding will be even more tedious especially in a game where the loot that drops improves your character by .1%

Covid killed e3. Once publishers, and devs saw they can just stream their games without the worry of spending hundreds of thousands of dollars for booths, and still get good results if not better. That was the nail in the coffin.

@4kgk2 nah characters were fine. Has one of the best villians in ff ever. And ignis is a big fan favorite. Story wasn't presented well. But if you played royal it does improve a lot and the world and lore of xv is actually really good.

Probably because some people have moved on to pc gaming. And since a pc version is inevitable in 6 months to a year. They don't mind waiting.

Code veronica needs a remake. And I mean that because the game is so bad and just dog water. I'd like re5 because I think modern day capcom could nail it. And re1 would be interesting if remade (again).

I'm enjoying it a lot. So far it seems to be a banger for both hardcore and casual audiences.

@KidRyan Spiderman had loads of issues day one. And STILL has issues. No such thing as a flawless record on pc to begin with.

Article is either misleading or just confusing. If the voice actors are re-reading the same lines. That's perfectly fine. And kojima not being there is a hidden blessing. David would not have been able to come back if he was involved.

They also need to deliver a good remake. I'm glad it's faithful with returning voice actors like David. But they better not screw it up!

@WallyWest Nah it makes no sense to bring eddie in at this point. Harry has been built up for years now. And it's obvious that venom finds his way back to harry, with spidermans powers in tow. Not to mention they most likely want harry and peter to team up against green goblin aka (norman). And if they go a step further mr. negative will cure harry and create the anti-venom. I'm not a fan of anti venom but if done right it might be cool.

@WallyWest Go watch ultimate spiderman. He was venom on there. The change from eddie to harry being venom was done long ago. And go ask the devs then. Their words not mine. When spiderman ps4 was first announced that's what they said. and a lot of designs with the villians keeps up with that. Especially with harry being venom.

I'm fine with it being single player only. Not everything needs to be online co-op. The pawn system was great idea that I'd like to see expanded further.

@UltimateOtaku91 Probably because the whole allure with this type of game has come and passed. These games are literally all the same and look the same. With the same spongy enemies and no impact on attacks.

@WallyWest Eh it could still end up being harry. In the ultimate spiderman series which this is solely inspired from it was harry I believe. Venom will tear himself away from peter and find his last host he was surviving from. Since harry is so weak he'll take full control of him and become the venom we know. Not to mention it seems they are setting up a game where venom, spidey and miles fight green goblin.

The license should be stripped from them. They don't deserve it at all.

Biggest let down to me was the "handheld" A wifi device that can only stream and play games installed on your ps5. what a joke of "Innovation". Meanwhile steam deck and switch are actually doing it right. I agree it was okay but nothing stellar.

Love the game myself. I'll probably buy it twice on ps and pc. Get to support these fantastic devs and JK.

The butt alone was worth the watch. Besides that it needs a severe amount of population with zombies. Maybe like days gone or dead rising.

@irishwololo Hard to say if it was downgraded or if it was a rush job considering it's a ps5/pc only game. Especially when ff15 a ps4 game looks better on the same engine. Although I haven't seen comparisons myself yet of the pre-release trailers.

@jorel262 falcom doesn't want it to be updated like the pc and switch versions because for some stupid reason. It'll make their previous Japanese version look obsolete. Even though that too could have received an update. So they can't do much or papa falcom will get mad.

@GorosBat that's what I did. You can play the evo versions translated on a hacked vita or play the first two psp version on there. But the pc versions is what I went with. And honestly it was rough because they don't feel right to play on pc. But damn was it worth it though.

I wouldn't say it doesn't need a patch. The game is so out dated on ps4 it still is the vita version. Considering falcom is dumb when it comes to updating games this patch is probably just more qol improvements.

Look at that 60 fps for a game that looks miles better than the recent two unoptimized messes. I'll probably stick with 40fps mode since I have a tv for it. You'd be surprised how huge of a difference that is from 30.
