The grace sections at first crushed me. Mostly because I have this hard phobia of not liking being chased by anything. Especially in first person where she moves like a snail. But after the first time and then playing in 3rd person it gets a lot easier. Played it through 6 times already.

@Oram77 Piracy is such a small fraction of pc it doesn't even count as a blimp on a radar. And those people were never going to buy the game anyways. I doubt sony cared about piracy. This has more to do with Helix and the initial internal struggle not liking the descision from the beginning.

@undeadly well in the current climate of physical media I need to pay for it ahead of time so that it arrives on time and not risk it being out of stock like re9, e33 etc.

This is cool and everything but how about actual gameplay? Can't tell how any of this will look without seeing it running with raw footage. Not to mention how stable the framerate is. All I've seen is pc footage and that's the one I'm most tempted to get.

Not hiding anything yet not showing anything is the same thing as hiding it. Games gone gold and is coming out less than two weeks.

Basically saying “don’t buy an Xbox” I’ll play them all on pc or ps5 or not at all. My last Xbox is series x just for back compat games like ff13 and saints row 2. Man even the Dreamcast has more value than any Xbox post 360.

@DarianStarfrog seen people play the game. The fact they think it’s ready to release in that state is wild to me. Not to mention everything else wrong with the game outside of technical issues.

Only one that matters is stories 3. Then on to crimson desert. Rest are forgettable or wait for discounts.

If sony or microsoft are smart they'll pick this up asap. It's basically a free exclusive for sony and microsoft can show they want more games in their portfolio.

My main gripe is the leon sections are waaaaay too short. Like I have all this ammo and can't use it. Especially in the "wait for elavator to arrive" moments. You pull out your smg and start balsting and after like 5 enemies it's over. It's a good complaint to want more. But man I kinda hope they patch in more enemies for leon or make a mode like dmcv where you can fight hordes of enemies in the story mode. Also I really wish mercenaries was in the game Day one. And I hope sherry is playable.

Besides all that it's a 9/10. Can't wait for Re5 remake.

xbox announced air as far as I'm concerned. We all know how hard it is to put out hardware. Sony can bide their time. And everybody knows ps5 and ps5 pro are going to be the main gta 6 consoles.

@wildcat_kickz It's a perfect example because Re9 is a very big release recent release that is being played by a lot of people even without it being friday and being early in the morning. Unlike marathon which it's numbers are terrible. You used time of day as anexcuse. I show you time of day doesn't matter to two different games. You respond with "you're pretty insufferable". If you can't handle facts to and don't like being proven wrong I recommend you don't engage in attempting a conversation where it leads to a back and forth.

I'm sorry I "disrespected" concord 3. I didn't know that "disrespecting" a video game ( a product made by a company to make money) defined a person in real life. Actually I think it's the opposite. You basing the way I am as a person is based on how I talk about a video game is more telling about you than anything else. Since your argurments have run dry you want to make it personal now. Day one it had more players than concord 3 while costing more and is single player. It's only been about a week. Re9 today still has more than concord 3. So yeah nice try again. By all means. Keep ignoring stats. If you think concord 3 is ever catching up to arc raiders player count I have bad news for you lol

@Sanquine Because the game is out and nobody reviews a game waiting for an update unless something fishy is going on. Why not do that for every game then? The only time it makes sense is when you review a game for a its technical details similar to digital foundry. People are calling it out. You want to get mad about it by all means.

@get2sammyb And yet for Destiny 1. This exact website reviewed the game way before the actual endgame came out. The game is out. Lets be real here. An actual honest review would review the game as is, and then when the end game comes out, review that seperately.

Re9 but nioh is 2nd. Both are great games. Haven't played DQ7 yet since mh stories 3 is coming out soon. Don't like juggling multiple rpgs

With re9 ps5 pro seems to be very sought after as well. It's even hard to come by. Once wolverine, crimson desert, and gta and other potential pss2 games come out it'll show the huge gap between the pro and the base system. Exclusives are important.

Yeah sure. Sounds incredibly suspicious. You don't delay a review for a season pass. So why this "endgame"? Regardless I think everybody who wants to play it or not has made up their mind months ago. A review can only sway so few at this point.

@DennisReynolds Unity looks better than both. Character models, crowd density, animations, facial expressions. The only thing oddyssey does better is water. And the only thing shadows has is rtgi and the hair physics. Unity has baked lighting and still goes toe to toe with it. And the baked lighting in shadows is terrible. Which baked lighting is way harder to pull off. And valhalla looks like garbage all around.

Showing love for a game that'll die in 2 months. Congrats on concord 3.

And I'd say Housemarque has the best art.

I think this is what this series needed. No more kirito garbage with his harem. Bring in new characters and give people the feeling of using the character you made to play an "mmo".

Pragmata looks like a very emotional experience. No way this has a happy ending. I can't wait to play it. Played the demo twice.

@LogicStrikesAgain Returnal looked amazing and sold poorly. Rougelikes are usually a tough sell.

The last good visually looking ac game. If they bump the res this can easily hit 4k or near it. Pc version of this game is a mess. So this is the only version you can enjoy without graphical bugs.

Well not releasing day in date with ps5 day one is reason the sales are bad on pc. I also support exclusivity. But Sony also has to make games that offer variety. Not the same old 3rd person action adventure game over and over again.

@TheArt resident evil games have ton of replay value. This is such a weird take when we were spending that much money on these “short” games for over 5 console generations.

Which is why I’m heavily considering the pc version. I just don’t trust it when they show little no raw footage on a platform. Wukong and cyberpunk did that and they turned out terrible.

Hiring for new games while just firing people that could have made new games.
