Remember when buying a physical game meant you got a full printed manual as well?
At the peak of gaming, these booklets would include original artwork, screenshots, strategy guides, and much more. Nowadays, you’re lucky if you get the full game included on your Blu-ray disc.
One fan has taken it upon himself to create professional booklets to accompany some of the PS5’s biggest first-party games, with Ghost of Yotei being his latest effort.
Sandeep Rai – better known by his social media handle 2 Old 4 Gaming – has written various books about PlayStation and specifically the PS Vita over the years, but is now printing these luxury inserts to put inside your physical games.

His Ghost of Yotei booklet – available to purchase from his website for £5 (~$6.63) – promises a “36-page manual beautifully printed on high-quality silk paper, offering a premium tactile experience”.
The booklet includes instructional information about the game – such as control schemes – as well as artwork, screenshots, and other features. The size is obviously designed to fit snugly inside the release’s Blu-ray case.
Obviously, this is all non-essential, but it’s nice to see someone filling this niche.
It’s a shame Rai is having to do what publishers used to, but if you’re a collector who fancies adding an instruction booklet to your game, his website may be worth a look.
