Poll: Ultimate PlayStation Character Tournament: Round 1 - Matches 57-60

Wander, Sackboy, and Iota — those are some iconic PlayStation characters right there.

@AnimeGamerFan Next week is the final week of round 1 matches, so after that, we're into round 2 , which will have 32 matches. 4 matches a week means round 2 lasts 8 weeks.

After that we're into round 3, which is top 32 characters. That's 16 matches, so that's 4 weeks.

After that, we're into round 4, top 16 characters. At this point we'll be doing 2 matches a week rather than 4, which means another 4 weeks.

Then we get the quarter finals, top 8 characters. Again, 2 matches a week, so 2 weeks.

We're then in the semi finals, top 4 characters. We'll do 1 match a week for these, so another 2 weeks.

Finally, we'll be at the final after that. That's obviously the last week.

So we're looking at another 22 weeks including the final week of round 1. By my calculations it all ends at the beginning of June.

(Sorry I had to write all that down, only way I could actually work it out!)

Iota, Bub/Bob, Sackboy and Wander. I hate Sackboy and Wander is a blank slate but I have no idea who their opponents are.

No big fan of GTA, but Trevor was far and away the most interesting and entertaining character from GTAV

It warms my heart to see Iota beating Trevor.

@ShogunRok do you think that after this you could do somthing with like classic PS games and put them head to head to see who comes out as the favorite on the site? Cause I think this is a really fun thing

@AFCC Yeah if this tournament continues to be popular we'll definitely be trying more of them in the future.

Poor Varric never stood a chance. I thought he was one of the better characters from the DA series.

@Lonejester Same here. Travor made GTA V interesting to me, I'm not a big fan of the franchise otherwise. The previous GTA games were OK, but I never actually finished one until Trevor came along.

Everyone's clearly picking Wander because the game is about to launch. Varric is a great character.

Protest votes against a couple folk here. No idea who some of the characters I voted for are, but they're bound to be altogether more awesome than their unspeakable opponents.

There's currently a 50/50 split between a flimsy scrap of waste paper and Iota. What happens in the event of a tie?

The fact that Iota is losing tells me a lot of people have not played Tearaway. Its impossible for you to have played the game and choose Trevor over Iota.

Still holding out hope but thats a sad character loss in my opinion. The other matches are pretty much going as expected.

@KratosMD Agreed, sackboy isn't even an actual character, s/he's an avatar that can be customized...

@Splints Completely agreed. The fact that so few of my friends have played Tearaway also makes me very sad. It's Media Molecule's best game so far, IMO. It's still close though, so you never know!

@Flaming_Kaiser In no way a playstation character? Lol, okay. Pretty sure 100% of MY experience with Trevor was on a playstation.
