@BranJ0 I gave up on the final boss. I knew I could do it, but it would have taken about 50 deaths.

I thought they had previously said the game would be shorter than The Witcher 3, I guess that means quite a bit of travelling around.

If their objective is to have more players complete more games then stop filling them with bloat. Less can be more. Video game development as a whole needs to understand this maxim.
The activity cards are a good idea and I can see the use for them for sure. The game help videos are also a nice feature, but incomplete. At the end of the day, how successful they are or aren't depends on how many developers utilize them. As most devs are creating cross platform games.... I don't hold out a lot of hope for their future.

@Hurblyburbly Oh totally. As a first try, it's pretty impressive. I'd imagine people have different thresholds, but I've stopped consciously registering the better rumble (and it is undeniably better than the DS4). However, I'm loving the 3D audio. Very useful in DS!

@Hurblyburbly The triggers are a bit weird when using a bow though. Most of the time I feel no feedback as I'm pulling the trigger quickly. If I pull slowly I can feel gathering tension, but it peaks at about 50% full depression and is easily clicked through. It's nearly right, but not quite and ignored by me for the most part.

@Gmork___ I remember it, but never played it. I spent a lot of time playing the Spectrum versions of Operation Wolf and Operation Thunderbolt. Impressive conversions!

@God_of_Nowt I hope you're able to complete it in someone elses lifetime! Beautiful game, but, yes, nails hard.

It's generally a very nice evolution from the PS4. Nothing game changing yet - we will see how that super fast io is utilised over time. As some others have said, it's a bit sexier looking than I thought, but it is a big ol' thing, no mistake. I'm already curious how large the next gen may be! Faster loading is the thing I never realised I needed until I got it and Demon's Souls is stunningly gorgeous.

@Philbop I agree with this. They are cool, but not revolutionary. They do aid immersion, but I've stopped consciously registering it in Demon's Souls already. I haven't got to that rain section in AB yet though.

I'm in no way a programmer, so please take this in the spirit of interested curiosity it's meant. I thought bugs were a programming issue and nothing to do with the available power? I'm not getting many bugs on my PS4, but I know it's had a few patches, so I thought that the reason.

What tosh! 'Investigating'. Some button that needed pushing hasn't been pushed. Get off your behinds and push the button! Plus, view product takes me to the store page where there is still no option to upgrade. How hard is it to get an employee in Europe to check that out?

@Paranoimia oh, I actually agree with you. It's okay, but not as amazing as many seem to think. Bit too hyper for me. I give it some latitude because I adore Dan Harmon's previous show, Community. The streets ahead thing was a nerdy reference just in case you were a fan too. Sorry. Being an ass!

I wouldn't say the new pad features are revolutionary so far, but they are very, very cool. I'm loving the 3d audio in Demon's Souls. It's a solid pad and a definite improvement in form.

Mine was left in the front garden by Amazon on Thursday after I specifically requested Friday delivery. Luckily it was still there and it was a PS5. And it works!

@PossibLeigh This problem seems to only be in the UK / Europe. Guessing a PSN update of the page is needed.

AC Valhalla can't currently be upgraded from the disc PS4 version. There's no option to upgrade at all. There's confirmation of this on reddit and ubi's forums, so, for once, I'm not just missing something obvious.

@LiamCroft I'm not sure if you guys are aware, but UK (and presumably Europe) PS5 owners currently can't upgrade AC Valhalla from the PS4 disc version. There's no option to upgrade. I've not seen any other sites cover this yet and it seems worth an article?

@Zuljaras That's interesting. So it's coils in the PSU that are whining.

@jess3a3 That's a tough one. I respectfully disagree. Outside of the main story Spider-man was very repetitive. The narrative is handled well in both games, but I'm giving it to GoW. A brilliant script and a re-invention of an old style.

I bought it twice! Once in Hong Kong and once in the UK so I could play the DLC that I stupidly downloaded from the UK PSN store. Then got burned out on it halfway through the first DLC.

My order on Amazon says dispatched, but I've not had an email from them at all. Kinda paranoid now, as I'm sure many of us are!

My brother has lived in Osaka for a long time. I've heard from him through our mum, that Sony shifted some of the Japanese allocation to North America because the demand was higher.

@GeneJacket 100% agreed. They goaded each other into releasing too early.

@Slippship He wasn't telling you to shut up, he was describing the behaviour you were advocating in your first post. You have your opinion, he gave his, you then slammed him for having an opinion. It's perfectly valid to criticise a product. Especially when it comes with some rather gapping oversights. I believe the criticism in the article comes from a place of love.

I am the absolute opposite of the audience this is intended for. I never play online, have no interest in comparing my 'achievements' with others and have no friends.

Can this feature be turned off? Last thing I want is the console reminding me how lonely I am every singe time I turn it on.

@Shinnok789 If memory serves, it's quite a bit slower paced that Bloodborne - as in the actual combat itself. Healing is done with (plentiful) items, rather than a refilling flask. There are no guns, but magic is pretty overpowered. People say it's the easiest Souls game, so I'm sure if you've managed BB, you'll be fine with Demon's Souls.

I'm 100% sure it is great though.

I wouldn't trust a thing that rag website says. I'll wait for reviews from people who have integrity, like the good folks here.
