I read that changing your PS5 settings off of the 120Hz TV settings can help. The issue stems from certain TVs trying to refresh incorrectly for this game. I also do not own the game to test but seen a handful of people mention this on social medias that helped them.

I slept on Returnal at first and when I finally got around to playing it, I loved it so much I decided to get the platinum trophy. I'll recommend Returnal all day but with a warning that it's intense. It Saros appears to have everything Returnal was and more; I'm really excited to dive into this bullet hell and all the new changes.

All it took was the showing of Ben Quadinaros and it sold me.

I got in the closed beta a while back and didn't like much of the game then. It definitely looks better now than it did when I played however I'm curious if any of the gunplay changed. Before everything just blended together in this grayish color scheme; normal enemies and players alike and whoever shot first won. I'm willing to give it one more shot but I have low expectations.

Just filled out the survey a few moments. I stated that it's odd to me that the mobile Horizon game, Steel Frontiers, looks more like a Horizon game than Hunters Gathering in terms of the artwork, style of gameplay, and environment. Truly baffling that the mobile game looks like it should be the one on console and the console game should be on mobile.

I dumped many hours into Destiny and Destiny 2 but there was a change in D2 where I (and probably others) fell off hard. I tried to get back into it recently but the damage was done and it felt too confusing to figure all the changes. I can only hope Bungie takes all the good things that made D/D2 work and focus on that because as someone who got to test Marathon on the last round, that game isn't it and it's wasted resources at this point.

Look I'll be honest, the game looks fun (along for the Horizon mobile game) however I just don't want to play games on mobile. I'd rather enjoy sitting on the couch, picking up the controller, and playing something like this opposed to being hunched over with my focus a few inches from my face. I use my phone often for work so I don't need something else to continue using my phone after work. Something hits different, to me, playing on a console.

I'm still enjoying BF6's normal multiplayer modes but even though I'm not a battle royale player, I'm still willing to try it whether it does or does not drop next week.

@Matthewnh I think Tim Russ has replaced him for the voice acting and appears to be the best visual replacement as well but you're absolutely correct with Lance's delivery and demeanor; irreplaceable.

It pains me that Lance Reddick passed away and we'll see a different Sylens on screen.

What I wouldn't give to see Sony invest in some older IPs like SOCOM, Resistance, or Killzone but I guess this is better than nothing considering the CoD/MS relationship.

That's pretty good timing. I haven't played it yet but for a cheap upgrade, it's an easy yes.

That's some Titanic level wording right there. I used to play CoD a lot back in the day but there was definitely a change that put me off from playing anything associated with the brand for many years now. I welcome the Battlefield buzz and hope it knocks CoD down a peg...or 6.

I haven't tried it and I don't think it's my cup of tea for a game however devs should prepare especially when their game is online and becomes free like this. Have to expect the player count to jump as interested or semi-interested people would download and try it out.

@CallMeDuraSouka Yep, I'm setting my personal bar low for both games. At least I can try Battlefield with the beta in the next couple weeks.

It's sounding like we may have a good Battlefield game back in our midst however I'm still leery, but I have hope though. It's like how I feel about the new Borderlands game right now as well, hopeful but leery.

I enjoyed the Darksiders series and playing as the 4 horsemen however if this turns into a 'Suicide Squad' style of game, I'm going to be let down tremendously.

That's great EA is going "all in" but you need the consumers to be the ones "all in". Here's hoping this multiplayer reveal is a step in the right direction.

The less of the Cole character, the better. No offense to the actor but no one wanted his storyline in the first movie which dragged the movie down, imo. The more we get back into the characters we know and want to see, the movie will be better off even if it's campy and cheesy.

Oh man, that opening "old man" voice acting is horribly hilarious.

Guess I'll go back and finish Crisis Core then. I enjoyed the game but the combat got a little repetitive at times so I took a break. Seems like a good time to go back before it's taken away.

A younger (BL2 era) version of me would have jumped on this pretty quick but at some point, this game will be a PSN monthly game or on Extra/Premium so while I appreciate them steering away from the $80 price tag, it's still a no.

Just rename the game to MindsSigh.

@get2sammyb While not embraced by all of America (yet), there's a slang word in the Philly area that can be used for literally anything and it's the word "jawn". Your friend is getting a drink and you want one as well? "Yo, get me that jawn too." Almost get into a car accident? "That jawn almost hit me." Eagles winning the Super Bowl? "The Eages just won that jawn!" It's like the Philly slang version of a noun; it can be a person, place, or thing. May have to sneak that into another post.

@Bluemoon2008 Understood but if their goal is a multiplayer game then make it that. Not this weird blend that doesn't seem to fully mesh. I get that it's new territory for them but it sounds like they are having issues catering to both sides.

Sounds like they made this a little backwards. I haven't played this nor do I plan to but to me, it should have been a solo game with multiplayer options/access rather than a multiplayer game with solo options. These games have always catered towards single players and should have stayed that way.

While I wasn't a fan of Bulletstorm or Outriders (both were ok to me and never played GoW Judgment), layoffs suck. Hope they can bounce back rather than fully close.

After the last few iterations of the Borderlands series, I think those "real fans" numbers are few and far between; myself included. While I have interest in 4, I'm not pre-ordering or even purchasing it day 1 and I'll gladly wait until it's heavily discounted or ends up as a free monthly game for PSN+. Sorry, not sorry Randy.

I bought the PS4 version of CP2077 for $5 at Best Buy back in 2022 on a one-day deal. I got the PS5 upgrade but it wasn't until very recent, like a month ago, that I started the game and finished it within this past week. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would, so I'll be keeping an eye on this sequel however perhaps not a launch purchase due to what happened on the first game.

Out of all the video games, whether it's a franchise or a singular title, to make a movie this would not have been my guess. Wouldn't even make top 100 of my guesses. I just don't see this being profitable for anyone involved.
