As a long time fan of both FF and DQ, I can't deny that I am a little worried about this. I did not like 15 at all, it just did not feel like a FF game. I'm more excited for 16, since the setting actually feels like Final Fantasy. SE is known to mess things up, so I'm keeping my hype in check for this new DQ game.

@Nepp67 @Nepp67 Okay, that's cool. But for many, the ps4 controller dies way quicker than it used to after a full charge. Actually its a common complaint about the DS4, probably the only fault it has. Those are signs of an aging battery. I was just explaining the reason why xbox still sells controllers with those options to consumers. You'd be surprised by how many people still actually want to use AA batteries for their controllers, and the option is there if you want to buy a rechargeable battery pack instead. It's a win win for the consumer.

@BloodEagle Every controller now has drift, but none are as bad as the joy cons.

@jmac1686 because eventually all batteries die. Xbox gives the consumer more options to replace a dying rechargeable battery with a new one to extend the life of the controller.

I've had the ps5 for a few months already, and I have to say that I got a little tired of the haptic feedback. To a point where I prefer to play without it now.

I see this game is heading in the right direction. Namco did right with Scarlet Nexus battle system, and this looks like its going to also be a success. I’m hype for Tales of Arise!

@nessisonett My PC didn't cost that much with a 2070 rtx and it runs games like this flawlessly. It depends more on how good the port is, hopefully they don't make the same mistakes as Horizon when it was ported to PC.

Why would anybody waste money to customize a ps5 and only sell it for $650? Regular mom and pop stores dont have ps5s yet, how can these nobodies get 300 of them? Unless they are using bots, and if anybody uses bots then you know that in itself is also another expense to add. This is all highly suspicious to me, and i think they BSed about the whole thing. If you tried buying one these with your credit card, make sure to change the # on your card just in case.

I think you guys are in denial lol Sony has clearly shifted their focus on the west. The warning signs were there ever since they abandoned the Vita.

@whoisbdub im playing it on series x on quality mode, haven’t experienced any crashes on x so far. They should have included this in the ps version, I’ve been hearing this has been the best mode to play on out of all the consoles, but its capped at 30 fps. It feels like im playing a ps4 pro game, can’t wait to see how the game looks when they release the next gen patches.

@Floki they havent released the series x and ps5 patches yet, maybe when that comes out we’ll see it look more like the pc version. These next gen consoles have the horse power to support it.

@ShogunRok i know its not a remaster, but the Trials of Mana remake was done perfectly in my opinion. They can make great games, i just think they get lazy.

@Ralizah for me i think the sweet spot is 1440p. 1440p with the right anti aliasing looks very sharp! 4k is overrated in my humble opinion.

@Party_Cannon The point of DLSS is to take away some workload off the gpu, this is done on Nvdia cards by using the tensor cores it comes with. That is why you see cleaner resolution with higher frame fates. So the using DLSS is not expensive on the gpu, if the ps5 gpu has something similar like NVdias then this would be a really good thing for ps5 games in the future.

I have experience using DLSS on my 2070 and i love it. I don't know why more developers don't add this to their games. BTW its not only for 4k either, you can play a game on 1080p with DLSS on and the game will look a lot better also, very amazing tech.

@AdamNovice nope you’re opinion on PC gamers is wrong, i play on PC also, and i love Playstation. It’s just always fun to be able to play current games on more powerful hardware and see how far you can push the game to look better and play smoother. It doesnt take anything away from Playstation, especially when the game is a few years old and is not selling many copies now. If anything it introduces new players to these game franchises and then maybe wanting more. Therefore potentially selling more consoles in the future, since the new Horizon will be on PS5 for years before it ever releases on PC, if it ever does.

@EddieGreenheart sorry then, just dont know whos a troll anymore right now. If you dont like the game thats completely okay, not everyone has the same taste. As for me i really am enjoying the game. The deep story telling, the characters, the gameplay, and not to mention the graphics and high level of detail. This game looks and feels next gen and is pushing my ps4 pro to its limits. Gonna be interesting to see it run on ps5. I have not beat the game yet, but i would say im about half way through. So far its GOTY, unless Ghost of Thusima or Cyberpunk change my mind, but so far 100% GOTY.

Just reached Day 2... and for anyone who hasn’t played the game yet, trust me you have no idea what this game is offering up so far. Do not listen to these hating didnt even buy the game yet fools review bombing, this game is really something else.

7/15 my memory sucks. Isn’t it amazing that we can’t even play a damn video game these days without it being so contreversion. I mean seriously whats wrong with people these days? Why does everything have to be such a big problem? What happened to society? Negativity is so contageous, its the biggest problem we have today. Enjoy the game guys, its a beautiful masterpiece!

Loving this game so far, played the whole day. I wasnt spoiled by the leaks, and finally seeing what people were mad about. I understand.. and it sucks what happened, but it just makes me more invested in the story and i wanna kick some ass now. Its what the developers wanted. Holy moly

I replayed it last week to refresh my mind on the ending. What a gem, i can’t wait for part 2!

I dont think the console will be cheap... but $699.99 would be a lot to ask for from your average consumer especially in this current econmy. I think most can agree that if it were to cost $499.99-599.99 it would be resonable, since you can’t even build a PC with the same specs for that cheap.

First off, I read that as Infinity Trash... second, this looks more like a dragon ball z game than dragon quest... and third the gameplay looks exactly like Trials of Mana, which i loved. So i don't know how i feel about this.

@ZeroOverOne Trials of Mana is a very good game, Sakura Wars is not my taste but im sure its good also. These type of games wont get the same hype like bigger titles, but as long as they are good solid games they will continue to sell for years to come.

@DonJorginho amen bro, so underrated. It was actually my personal game of the year. Just goes to show you not to simply rely on reviews weather or not to buy a game or not.. sometimes gotta go with your gut.
