Dina is voiced tremendously by Shannon Woodward in The Last of Us: Part II, but the character’s likeness is based upon Cascina Caradonna, who’s currently playing through the game for the first time on YouTube. In the clip embedded above she works through the section featuring Henry and Sam, which comes to a tear-jerking conclusion.

that's exactly where I am on my revisit just about to walk into that section
When I started playing TLoU Remaster once again, after the prologue I looked over to my wife and she was crying in puddles, and I was just like “oh dear, should have warned her”.
I replayed it last week to refresh my mind on the ending. What a gem, i can’t wait for part 2!
This is something I don't understand, why didn't she just voice the character? I understand she's not a professional voice actress but that's her on screen what if she could be more believable and sound more natural?
@Juanalf what if she didn't want to be a voice actor? It is extremely common for someone to model for a character's design and another person provide the voice. Kind of like singing in TV shows. It is often someone else providing the voice, even if the person acting the part might be decent at singing.
After the first year of PS4 Sony has kept a decent amount of games flowing for us to enjoy on their console.

Words can't explain how that game makes you feel. Feelings you won't experience in any other game. It was a difficult game to play sometimes not in terms of difficulty but the overall mood and horror. It was insane beating it on Grounded Mode, I regret selling it and that's the pros of going digital, you're prevented from selling. Still, SONY need to implement selling of digital copies because some games need to be sold lol.
Thought i'd just check it out ... pulled me in and I watched the lot... That's the power of ND story telling. Pre-order done today
Yep, Also just finished playing 1st left behind and the then the last of us. They have aged very well. Now just waiting for a knock on the door from amazon....
Just watching this has brought back so many memories....I’d forgot all about that part of the story. Makes me want to download it again
