UK Sales Charts: SnowRunner Faces Uphill Battle Against an Immovable Top 10

More than usual, the physical UK chart is noticeably stagnant. This should come as no surprise, of course, but it makes it a tough subject to talk about as each week passes with little change. With many games pushed back and brick and mortar game shops closed, this was bound to happen.

SnowRunner, a decent offroad haulage simulator, is the sole new release in the latest chart, making its debut at number 12. It comes very close to a top 10 result in its first week on sale, but it seems the bestsellers are here to stay for the foreseeable. FIFA 20 is back at number one, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is third for the third time in a row, and mainstays like Grand Theft Auto V and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order are here as always. Final Fantasy VII Remake is holding steady at number eight, while Red Dead Redemption 2 moves up one spot to ninth. Interestingly, Assassin's Creed Odyssey re-enters the overall chart at number 30, presumably off the back of Assassin's Creed Valhalla's recent announcement.
