The blog said no ps plus would be needed but this morning it was asking me to buy it. Apparently this is a bug. i did manage to get online but it couldnt match make me, now i just keep getting error failed to login messages.
I dont think the launch has gone too smoothly.

the only thing which dampers it for me is the number of times we saw 2023

I don't know about anyone else but Jeff grub and reliable are not words I associate with each together.

I remember when Jeff Grub heard that Microsoft had bought NetherRealm and was going to announce it during their e3 conference two years ago.

I say im excited for the new Dragon age, but its been so long i dont think i remember a single thing about DA:I anymore.

People seem to be missing the fact that this isnt the same as the deals that where made when Sony bought insomniac and bluepoint etc
Bungie is still technically their own independent company and everything will be multiplatform still.

To think this game was going to cost £70 to buy at one point.

It was on for way too long and all the trailers started to look like the same game. Has it always had a 3 hour run time?

@nessisonett i think psyconauhts will get nominations for awards but i have a feeling it will just miss out on a game of the year nomination.

Returnal, ratchet and clank, Deathloop, Forza horizon, Metroid dread and It takes two i'm pretty sure will be the six games on the GOTY shortlist.

Wasnt people thinking that games were actually going to be delayed out of the busy February month? haha.

Wales interactive are the people who created that "Gamer girl" game that didn't see the light of day right?

I think we just have to remember that 2022 is stacked for games, they have to market the games coming out next year so that they dont get lost in the shuffle. So showing games what are going to be released in 2023 now doesn't make sense.

Final fantasy 16 will probably be shown at toyko games show at the end of this month (i hope)

I am confused though with people whos been saying they "just showed GOW, a game we already knew existed" we literally only saw the title before this, this was our first true look at the game. It was a bigger deal than people are making it out to be.

Technically we know that "PixelOpus is collaborating with Sony Pictures Animation on “an exciting new PlayStation 5 title" that's what we were told in June anyway. I remember people thinking it had something to do with that mitchells vs the machines film.

The writing (from what weve seen) gives me YA fantasy novel but the Disney film version of it.

This article kind of reads as "Sony should have shown absolutely everything its working on" because your nervous we might not hear from them in a while...even though Tokyo games show is at the end of this month.

2022 is already a packed year with Horzion GT 7 forespoken and possibley GOW all being released Sony cant show a whole bunch of new games there other studios are working on when these "big hitters" are not even released yet.

It makes me wonder what pre orders are like because why keep showing this again and not something like Kena whichis also released soon?

I think this might have been the game i was most interested in.

Its taken me 4 years but im finally playing and loving neir automata and this game was reminding me a lot of that.

Some of the lines seemed a little corny to me but I still have interest in this.

It was a weird conference for me because they showed some great stuff but there's also so many games they didn't show which im really wanting to see.
Is it weird to think there might be too many games being released next year? lol

Didn't Jeff grubb say he (as well as others) heard rumours that Microsoft was looking to buy them. People thought it was going to be announced during their e3 press conference.

I don't think i fully understand the connection some people are making that them not doing a summer conference means Sony is being arrogant.

They will tell us when there is a conference when they are ready, people getting mad that something they where predicting hasn't happened comes across like those reddit film fan theory people to me.

I actually like that reveals come out of no where, it gives them more attention without the over the top expectations people seem to put on these planned events these days

Publishers should be allowed to show things when they are ready instead of force setting a date and making them feel like they need to be there to show something.

I had both consoles and i actually think sunset overdrive was the only xbox exclusive game i played all generation.

How many ps5's have been sold in the UK? for all we know there could be a whole bunch of people wanting to buy it but still cant buy the system to play it on.

I bought it at launch its still unopened on my shelf waiting for the ps5 patch.

Im hoping for concrete genie. i missed it when it was on ps plus the other month.

I have no doubt in my mind if they announced a sequel there would be an abundance of people not caring saying they don't want another Zombie game and that Sony Bend should be working on something else.

Now i'm seeing people who trashed or where never favourable of Days Gone at its release saying it was never given a chance and wishing for a sequel, even though theyve never mentioned the game again since its launch.

Would I have bought a sequel, yes.
But at the same time i thought the story in the first had a good conclusion and it doesn't really need one, like im not left with lots of unanswered questions.
So i'm not as upset about it as a lot of others.

Sony can just do there own online show/state of play the same week and it will be just like theyre there lol

I know theyve been posting dev diaries but i hope it gets a state of play as well.

People keep bringing up Fallout 76 and Anthem, but remember, those games had Betas months before release, people knew how those games where running and looking months in advance.

With cyberpunk they purposely hid away the ps4/xbox one versions and then told us afterwards how they ignored signs on what the performance would be like on those consoles.

Personally i think they need to shave a whole hour off of the show.

Ive been reading and listening to some of the reviews and this seems like another instance where some of the reviewers focus a lot of the negatives making it sound pretty bad, then they end the review giving it a 9 or 10.

I wish ebay would decide to just not allow ps5's to be sold through them so that this kind of thing wouldnt happen. Didnt they once try and stop music tickets from being sold on their site?

I'm happy that 13 sentinels aegis rim got at least one nomination. Its not going to win but still.

I can see Hades being one of the five up for GOTY a lot of the people who do the nominating seemed to really liked that.

As much as i like Fall guys, only having four new games will only make me play for a couple of days until it starts to become too repetitive again.

I feel like the PS5 gets bigger and bigger every time i see it.

Like others have mentioned it cost way too much, i bought TLOU2 at launch for less than what theyre selling this game for.

Unfortunately its now on my wait till sale list.

Twitter needs one big overhaul.

I think the bigger franchises like elder scrolls and fallout will eventually come to PS maybe after some timed xbox exclusivity. They could have kept Minecraft to themselves but didn't.

Either way if they do come to PS they will more than likely be day one on gamepass to make that deal look even better.

Its going to end up being like that Rocket game which no one played because it should have been free to play and not full price.

If i had to rank my interest for every game released at launch, this one is currently bottom of the list and with games costing £70 they need do a lot for me to be willing to spend that.
