Sony said that its PlayStation Showcase would feature a rich mixture of games both big and small, but as it turned out the indie presence was actually surprisingly light. There was, however, Tchia – an exotic open world adventure game inspired by a group of French islands in the South Pacific named New Caledonia.
The game looks gorgeous: in addition to The Last of Us-style guitar gameplay, there’s also tons of vivid exploration – both above and below water. What do you think of this trailer? Were you excited to see this during the PlayStation Showcase? Let us know in the comments section below.
This looked really lovely to be honest. I do like the look of it.
Very tranquil and exotic. Love it.
This was a pleasant surprise, love the art-style and the calming vibes it gave off, definitely a day-one buy!
Reminded me of the Cappy mechanic in Mario Odyssey. Really genuinely curious if this will be a good game for my son.
Hi there fellow gamers.
A singleplayer exploration game, with vibrant collors, a unique feel and where you can poses animals like the Awesome Dishonored?
Yeah, I´m getting this. Another really nice surprise from the PS5 Showcase. Keep the coming Sony, keep them coming.
Cheers, stay safe everyone and happy gaming to us all
Wasn't this what Wild was supposed to be?
This might have been my favourite thing showed tbh. I could really do with something like this.
Hope the game is as good as the game seems different.
@Oh_fiddlesticks - Yeah WiLD certainly crossed my mind as well, nice observation there Rantaro
The ending was cute i loved how diverse he show was so many fun games.
@somnambulance That's what I thought of too. If there's anything that game taught me it was that transforming into other things and having completely fresh feeling mechanics is really awesome.
This game is giving me serious Concrete Genie vibes, will def play it eventually when it's dirt cheap.
