Forspoken's Latest PS5 Trailer Is Witty and Weird

Looks pretty, and could be fun. But am I the only one who thinks that the swearing is repetitive?

Witty is being absolutely enormously generous but I digress, gameplay looks pretty great and the world is very pretty.

Still don't know what to think about this game but the voice actress reminds me of Laura Bailey (especially the swearing made it sound like Kaine) which is a + point imo

Didn't really like the dialogue much but her attacks still look very dragons dogma-y and that's only a good thing. And the warping around looks so fun too

Gameplay wise this kind of looks like Skyrim meets Prototype. In other words, it's the exact game I've wanted my whole life.

@HotGoomba people said Returnal looked repetitive, and that turned out pretty good IMO. It's on a short list of games that I'm looking forward to.

Traversal looks fun. Still not sure about the game outside of that. And please, please don't have these people gabbing incessantly throughout the game. The dialogue is terrible.

@eagletrippin I don't mean the gameplay, I mean the excessive bad language (swearing) in the dialogue.

Gameplay looks okay but not a fan of the banter between the girl and the accessory she’s wearing. It feels out of place for a game like this.

People upset by a bit of swearing?

Game looks like it could be a lot of fun. Hopefully her cat follows her into the fantasy world, that would be ***** sweet.

Tbh this was my favourite game of the showing and believe me when I say that I jumped outta my chair seeing GOW2 tonight

Some of the lines seemed a little corny to me but I still have interest in this.

Awful. Nice graphics but everything else looked janky and my god the lead waffling on didn’t help. Disappointing.

This looks right up my alley….can’t wait! When?

Finally getting more gameplay from this.
I really like the combat being magic based and shooting spells.
It kinda remind of inFamous in a scene or two.
The traversal looks cool, but needs more work in my oppinion.
Let´s see if SquareEnix can deliver a good brand new IP.

@Ralizah I want really want one but i dont have tons of cash and even if had tons off cash i refuse to pay a scalper. I have Returnal and Demon Souls because i thought i would have one already but alas. And i would love to play Rachet and Clank but and these games make me want one even worse.

They could really turn down the quipping. Having the lead character narrate what we’re seeing almost never helps IMO. The most immersive games are usually quieter games.

Hopefully it is Spring your way and not mine, because that would be in 12 months time

There are some twitter accounts I've seen that people tend to follow to get ahead of PS5 supply drops online, but those are mostly U.S.-centric. I get the sense those wouldn't be particularly helpful for someone in the Netherlands.

'a New York-style city' - it is NYC as you can see the Holland Tunnel through the portal. Game looks promising thus far!

Good lord that voiceover is infuriating. Put me right off a game that otherwise would have been right up my street. Oh well ¯(ツ)/¯

really wanted to like this but man, that dialogue. what awful writing. i am so, SO uninterested in this.

The design of human npc are bad, it's like all the npc are western people that live in the fantasy world. It's the exact opposite of ff15, where's the protagonist/npc looks like final fantasy characters but the world are kind of real life and mundane.
