@rjejr congratulations on the 25th. Myself and my ever suffering wife will hit our 25th next September but we've been together for 30 years and it's been brilliant,funny and heart breaking..I wouldn't swap it for all the sim racing gear in the world..👍

So let's give away the last COD entry for free for a limited time so hopefully a lot less people will play BF6 during its launch window...cynical view indeed but it's very strange they chose this particular time frame to do this. Looks to me like Microviszzard is getting a bit worried that their Call of Fortnite franchise is becoming a bit less popular amongst the gamers that don't want their war games loaded with cartoon ***** and wanna be celebrity's..

@wildcat_kickz I recently watched Ken burns civil War and it was stunning. I also enjoyed his viet nam documentary too.

I put myself in the every 3 months or so category but last year I dipped my toes into the sim racing scene and I bought a cheap wheel setup. Since then I've only bought racing games and none of them have been full price either. I then dived head first into the abyss by purchasing a full direct drive unit and a dedicated cockpit/frame and I'm about to drop the hammer on the psvr 2 headset so I can play GT7 as its intended to be played. This Fridays release of BF6 will be the first full price purchase since khazan launched. So I guess my purchases have declined somewhat but if driving games released more frequently and support my setup then I'd be buying a whole lot more...oh damn project motorsport launches next month so now I'm in the Once a month category 🤣

@SuperSilverback you are right but those games released when the COD franchise was at its best..the last few call of duty games have been very mediocre to say the least. Having played the BF6 betas I'm relieved that it's back to the bad company 2 greatness the BF series so sorely needed. COD has become complacent and its been caught asleep at the wheel.

I love VS but I'm not sure I could handle co-op as it gets pretty mental as it stands.

I'm glad it's got a campaign but I'll most definitely be playing this mostly online with my mates who I used to squad up with in bad company 2 so the online requirement is a very moot point for me. Bring on Friday.

@Balaam_ for once we have a common ground. I love the single player experience in the gta series and I enjoyed red dead redemption but I loathe their multiplayer mode. Its an awful,toxic mess of an experience trying to play gta online and red dead was so boring and mundane. Rockstar will never learn though and keep churning out these rubbish tacked on multiplayer modes.

Where are you getting this information? Worse product? Maybe from a cost to the consumer but people will buy it regardless or they just simply won't. Are you talking quality of the next consoles? Do you have a crystal ball or are you proficient at scrying? Nobody knows what's coming and it dosnt sound as if Microsoft are throwing in the towel just yet so all this amounts to rumour mongering and speculation once again. I feel for the xbox owners who are heavily invested in their console of choice in case their fave console ceases to be but I see it as a heck of a lot more potential sales for Sony. I'll also add I don't think Microsoft steping out of the console market hardware wise is a great move because I like the competition and innovation that brings each gen. I guess I've answered a small part of my question to you inadvertently so don't feel so bad when you just ignore the rest.

I'm in Clifton today as my wife has just had to take her art into a gallery for her 1st exhibition so I won't be playing much until later this evening. I did buy dirt 4 for the paltry sum of £6 so hopefully that will be in the letter box when I get home..I think that now completes my dirt rally collection on the ps4/ps5..have a great weekend everybody 👍

Only 2 essential purchases for me in October and November...BF6 and Project motor sport..nothing else is even worth waking up for.

In a word no..the movie industry turns out countless iterations of the same themes and I'm not bored of those either.

@Ricky-Spanish I must also point out that if you purchase a ps5 then pretty much all the ps4 games will run and if they have ps4 support those are the versions you will be playing. In some instances the ps4 pro enhanced games look even better on the ps5 and most will even load a bit faster too..did I mention how silent the ps5 is? I would take the time to save a bit longer and don't rush into buying something I know you'll regret in the long run.

@Ricky-Spanish the base ps4 is still great but if you want the jet engine turbine effect in your living room go for the pro..you won't hear f*ck all else but it's a great machine. Personally I'd just bite the bullet and get a ps5.

@StitchJones the 360 was the best? Red ring of death every 5 mins,despite being tagged as a full HD console barely ever hit a constant 720p and the audio output was pretty awful fidelity wise. All the 360 did was make me go back to sonys machine and I've been happy ever since. I'm glad you enjoyed your time with the 360 but for me and no doubt millions of others it was a nightmare of a machine reliability wise. No need to reply I already know I'm wrong..

@KingPev I guess you buy digital? I pre ordered BF6 of Amazon for £54.99 as there was no way on earth I was going to pay the ps store price.

Of all the YouTubers out there PS have to use this none entity. His vids are up there with John glassocks as the most useless and uninformative ones you can stumble across. At the end of the day prices go up and it shouldn't be a shock to see cost cutting exercises in play at the same time.

Okay folks nobody mention greta thunburg..

I never had any issues with my original dual sense pad until I had wooden flooring installed and then dropped my pad for the 1st time ever and smashed the bugger beyond repair..bought a brand new midnight black one which constantly needs charging but I have an extender cable so it's not a huge issue. I'm sure these new pads will make a few people happy.

This is not great. I play EA wrc rally daily and I love it and I'm so glad that the rally franchise has moved to another dev. I'm still buying BF6 because as far as I'm concerned I am supporting the devs that made the game and not EA so I'm hoping some of my money makes it way towards those guys who I don't think are probably happy about this either. It puts a lot of gamers in a moraly and ethically tricky place to be..

@Oram77 nah I don't think you are defending censorship at all. There would be an uproar about a new bully game because you know we've got to protect the kids but nobody's batted an eyelid about the new hellraiser game that's coming out in fact its been labeled as a brave and bold move to create a horror game for the adult gamers..of course no children will ever play it because it's an 18 rated game. I never played bully mainly because it just didn't appeal to me but I understand that it has its following and a sequel would be great for the fans. By today's standards I think it would be a very tame game indeed and other games have tackled much tougher subject matters.

@Oram77 I don't think it would be hard to make a game about bullying at all. Look at todays games and the violence that's depicted in them. The new wolverine game,the god of war series,call of duty etc,etc,etc..a game about bully's would be super tame but I guess it's all about how it would be tackled. Today's society is a total contradiction in terms and its full of double standards.

I would much prefer a manhunt remake.

@djlard @PinderSchloss I can understand what you two are driving at but the girl is an android for starters so you two have made it even weirder and creepier than it was originally. I see the girl as that psychotic android from the movie m3ghan (which creeped me out no end) and if I'm being honest the term "little child and big daddy" does nothing but remind me of the bioshock games. I'm not sure about this game so I'll wait and see how it plays out.
