@ButteredCrumpet oh I forgot to mention I wear glasses and I wear them with the headset and I have no problems at all. In this crazy heat we've had recently I have not used the headset much because it does get a bit moist (the headset you beast) and the lens steam up so bear that in mind 👍

David Dastmalchian as M Bison? Great actor but seriously miscast here. Arnold vosloo would have been better. Anyway this can't be as bad as MK2 which was just awful. Everything about it was just awful.

I have two trains of thought on this..
1) It will suck big time for all the devs that E.A. own and exploit and when the inevitable happens I wish them all luck for the future in advance. Its a sad state of affairs for us the gamers that will ultimately come of worse when we lose our favorite games.
2) Finally E.A. will know what it's like to be bought by a conglomerate that's going to expect massive returns for their investments and when the Saudis realise they've bought a lemon and shut E.A. down I'll see it as some cosmic karma event..you killed codemasters and criterion so you get what you deserve.

@ButteredCrumpet yeah it's a really cool bit of kit. You do need to be aware of the resolution though as it's a bit of a downgrade vs flat screen but it runs at 120hz and a lot of games support it. YouTube vids do not give you a correct image or portray what you actually see once inside the headset. GT7 is worth the asking price alone in my opinion and once you experience it you'll find it hard to go back to flat screen racing. I play dirt rally 2.0 with the headset because even though its not VR its still superb and very scary driving through a Scotland forest on an 80 inch screen.

@ShadowRJ I was being heavily sarcastic as in we would never have guessed because there has been an article every day reminding us about physical discs being discontinued blah,blah,blah...its about time PS moved on..let it go..

@MrStark ahhh the man who sold his ps5. Have you tried the psvr2? I'm not even sure you've sold your ps5 so I find it hard to take you seriously but I'll persist and ask once again have you tried the psvr2 or are you just making an assumption based on others opinions?

@wildcat_kickz GT7 is simply stunning especially as you have a ps5 Pro. I really like arizona sunshine remake and lumines arise is quite the experience too. I really like playing none vr games via the psvr2 and marathon is quite breath taking on a virtual 80 inch screen 🤣. I also really enjoy watching movies on the headset (I recently watched the dark Knight trilogy and it was brilliant) although obviously the resolution takes a hit but you soon forget about it. I'm really looking forwards to flatout vr later this year.

@GirlVersusGame I've not experienced any crashes on halls of torment so I guess I've been lucky. I hope you enjoy mandragora as much as I am. Its an awesome game.

@TheDarts when I first decided that I was going to buy a wheel setup I was looking at the g29 but I decided on the thrustmaster T150 mainly because I got the wheel and pedals and a stand for £150. I wasn't sure if I'd take to it but nearly 2 years later I've bought (wait for it) the T598,a dedicated cockpit,a psvr2 and upgraded to the ps5 Pro just to play GT7 how it should be played. The difference between the T150 and the T598 is revelatory. I was going to get the fanatec wheel which my mate has but considering how much more expensive it is compared to the T598 and how little there is between the two performance to price ratio I got the T598 and I don't regret it. Another friend of mine has the moza r9 on his pc and if that wheel comes to the ps5 I will be all in..

I played the original halo on my big old black brick and it was my favorite game along with project Gotham racing. When I heard about this remake I started dribbling (from my mouth you fiends...from my mouth) and I bought it and I absolutely love it. Yeah I paid £50 for it and I'm not going to apologise and I didn't buy the code in a box either..ain't apologising for that either. There were 3 games on xbox I really wanted on ps5 and those were Halo,forza and gears of war. I've got all 3 and I'm having a blast with them apart from gears which I'm struggling with because the controller lag is bloody awful and it really is quite a shoddy port. Halo was a big part of my gaming life and I'm happy I can retread the game again remade in the same house that my wife and myself have pretty much remade over the past few years. Nostalgia has never been so much fun. Now where's my new Sony record player so I can listen to my led zeppelin records how they were meant to be heard...

Bought it yesterday,installed it and I've played the first few missions and I love it. If you don't like it for whatever reasons good for you but it's just class. I can't wait to meet the "woke woman" so I can have a fit and then return here to spout utter garbage..awesome game and I'm loving reliving it.

Actually moza has an extremely competitive pricing. The r9 unit (9nm torque) is more than enough power for GT7 and most ps5 racing games and is under £500 for the base unit. Even when you factor in having to get pedals,with load cell pedals and a rim it's still going to be significantly cheaper than logitechs current top of the line ps5 wheel.

@Nem it wouldn't take much for moza to adapt their existing products to work on the ps5.

OK so I have a Thrustmaster T598 and the Evo 32r rim bolted to my racing frame cockpit and I'm really happy with this setup for both dirt rally 2.0,EA wrc and GT7 with the psvr2 headset (sublime experience.) However if moza bring their r9 unit to the ps5 I may have to seriously think about upgrading. As much as I love my T598 it just dosnt compare to the r9 unit. This is really great news for ps5 sim racers and shouldn't be scoffed at.

@Porco the whole turn table thing is irrelevant to gaming. Why it's being reported on is beyond me other than a very lame attempt at trying to be relevant. If this was a music forum discussing Sony bringing out a new turn table whilst trying to eradicate vinyl then yeah it would be a topic for discussion but it's not..its a gaming site and therefore is a redundant discussion. Numb to reality? No just numb to nit wits.

I'm about to buy it..need a cuppa first. I would have bought the deluxe edition but I wasn't paying over £70 to play it a week early. Not paying £70 upwards for any game.

@Mr-Cage this..I've always had an issue when white characters are replaced with people of colour if that's the correct phrasing? Scarlet Johanson got so much flack when she played the lead in ghost in the shell..cultural appropriation everybody cried but Samuel l Jackson playing nick fury? Not an eye lid was battered. Let me reiterate before somebody burns me at the stake as its not people of different colour playing white characters but the whole discourse and hypocrisy around it.

If the audiophiles of the world suddenly started a petition against physical media on consoles how would you feel as a gamer? I think the level of entitlement being exhibited on PS at the moment is quite seriously ridiculous. Not quite sure why PS is comparing physical game discs to records? Bit of a lame attempt to keep the no physical rage bait articles smouldering. Don't we have enough wild fires starting all over the world without PS helping to keep the digital infernos going?

This will definitely be on the ps5 and ps5 Pro. Any kind of talk about what's going to be on or not on the ps6 is pure speculation at this point in time. I've played every god of war game (gow 2 being my fave) and I've enjoyed them all immensely. I personally dislike atreus as a character because I have a sheer dislike for whiney,entitled,tantrum throwing kids (and adults too) so I am really hoping at some point that kratos has to rip the little weasels arms off and beat him with them. The only part of ragnarok I genuinely didn't enjoy was any of the story where you had to play as atreus and it was a real teeth grinder moment for me. @bindiana if only Sony had decided to milk resistance fall of man,socom,motorstorm,syphon filter,killzone etc,etc,etc instead yes? I'm sure at least one of those franchises would have been one for you? Exactly how much risk taking would you have Sony take? They've ignored the fans requests for these games to have remasters/remakes/reboots,destroyed physical discs and basically driven store prices through the roof..how much more risk taking would you have them take?
