I'm not joining in the blackout..I'm playing GT7 in VR and ghost recon wildlands. This is a ridiculous protest (my opinion) and Sony won't even bat an eyelid. I don't want an all digital future or an all physical future. What I want and I suspect most people here are choices and better digital rights such as when servers are shut down rendering a game you've purchased facing the possibility it may not be playable there should be some kind of recompense or something put in place so you can still play it. Anyway for the 5 of you worldwide not playing your ps5 good on you for sticking it to the man 👍

@GirlVersusGame is hell divers 2 possible solo? I guess you could solo it if you are a masochist. It's certainly possible up to challenging difficulty I guess but when you need to start farming the rare samples etc to upgrade your starship then you are going to have to crank up the difficulty and that's where it starts to get tough..really tough. I didn't think you had trivialised anything I said nor did I take anything the wrong way. None of us knew just how ill my mother was and by the time her diagnosis arrived it was too late unfortunately.

Hell divers 2 is awesome so it's not surprising. I've just started replaying this and seeing as I had just over 1800 super credits saved (not sure how) I grabbed the warhammer 40k warbond and the bolt pistol and melta mine are pretty epic. I love marathon but it needs to have a dedicated PvE mode on all maps as I think that limiting the PvE to cryo was a big mistake because it's such a complex area even for seasoned players and its a daunting under taking. I'll be the first to admit that I've bounced off marathon quite hard and it really needs something fresh to bring me back. When hell divers 2 launched I had just unexpectedly lost my mother and I made some really great friends via pushsquare who I still play with and they really helped me at a very dark moment in my life and I will always be grateful for the help and laughs they provided me with whilst dealing with the insane carnage hell divers 2 provides. A great game and one of my all time faves.

My trusty LG soundbar which I've had since forever died on me late Thursday evening so I went out yesterday morning and bought the Hisense AX5100Q 5.1 surround soundbar (dolby dtsx and dolby atmos) and it sounds fantastic..that wireless sub woofer kicks ass. So I'm playing helldivers 2 and ghost recon wildlands with the usual rally challenges thrown into the mix. Have a great weekend folks 👍

@wildcat_kickz the campaign was actually pretty decent if you just ignored it was a CoD entry but the multiplayer was god awful. I not sure but I think it was sledge hammers 1st CoD entry. I could be wrong on this so if I've got it wrong please don't bombard me with the kind of replies that are reserved for reddit subbers..

@Quintumply well I can recommend the one I bought this morning. After watching god knows how many reviews last night I narrowed it down to either a Vizio from amazon or this hisense model. The Vizio was out of stock so I went to curry's this morning and grabbed the hisense. Now for a comparison the Sony sonos is around £700 but you have to buy the sub separately (£400) and the left and right rear speakers (£200 ish) and the sound quality on the hisense was much better according to the review. That's an insane cost saving and just shows that sometimes it's just the brand name you pay for.

@KundaliniRising333 forgiven. For what it's worth the ps5 Pro is pretty damn good in the right hands. I could turn your comment around and point out sonys less than perfectly optimised pc ports. I've been pleasantly surprised with the pros performance especially in games like GT7 and quite a few ps5 games that have been pro enhanced that I got round to playing again. Space marine 2 was quite the improvement. Yeah I could have done what you did a spent a small country's national debt on a gaming pc but I didn't want to and the pro was a compromise in terms of what I needed with what I was happy forking out for. I know you like your rig a lot and I can't knock somebody for saving and getting what they actually want and not getting the option that makes you always ask "what if.."

@Quintumply aagghh you cursed me. My trusty LG soundbar which I've had since around 2012 died on me forcing me..yes forcing me to purchase a new one. I've just literally bought and set up the Hisense AX5100Q 5.1 soundbar. It comes with 2 wireless satellite speakers and a wireless subwoofer and wait for it..Dolby atmos..£179.99 and it sounds damn nice. That subwoofer really thumps.

I wasn't going to buy this but once I found out it only requires 2 button presses and pushing forwards on the analogue stick I was sold..seriously though the game looks a lot better the more I see of it but I'm still going to wait for a sale as I have too much on the go and I really need to show some restraint and self discipline. I hope everybody who's pre ordered it really has a great time on launch day.

@WhoderMan play-asia.com have a physical disc version listed for Asian territories. It shows the weight and dimensions of the game for shipping purposes and its region free too. There is also a collectors edition as well apparantly although I can only find the standard edition.

F**k me it's a console exclusive because its only on a PLAYSTATION. A PC is not a console therefore its a CONSOLE EXCLUSIVE. it's not hard to understand really..oh wait I guess it is. Anyway rant out of the way I'll be buying this as I've been keeping an eye out on it since forever. And I might even bite on that galactic racer too.

When I bought my ps3 the first games I got with it were killzone 2 (the bundle I bought),MGS4 and uncharted. I loved all 3 games but MGS4 was the jaw dropper for me. The cut scenes were captivating and I honestly thought that graphics could not get better at the time. A certain scene involving raiden and vamp was just pure cinematic magic. I really want this now but I'm going to wait until i have finished the games I've started.

I don't see this kind of uproar for brands like loriel,dove,lynx or the countless products all wanting your cash. You either purchase them or you don't and sonys no different. @PuppetMaster maybe Brazil should actively boycott Sony then and cease to buy all Sony products. If the figures you quote are real then that sudden loss of revenue would surely make Sony pay attention yes? But it won't because gamers (not just brazilians) will shout and stamp their feet and then purchase the game anyway if they want it that much and Sony know this and just won't care either way. Ever since the digital prices for new games hit £70 upwards (uk) I made the personal choice to never purchase a game over £60 which is what I deem to be a reasonable asking price for a game I need to play day one. If I can buy it physical I will definitely pursue that option as I can often save £15 - £20 over the digital store. Once games go all digital I will only ever buy games when they hit a sale price I'm happy with.

I'll have some of this. I loved wukong and I never had any issues with the issues of the ps5 version. I haven't tried it on my pro so I suppose I should.

They will sell less units and maintain profitability.

@GamingGod PMR is much more of a sim than GT7. It is definitely not for the casual racer as the AI can be very tough and the cars are great to drive now but still need to be treated with respect.

@GirlVersusGame ps5? I have a ps5 Pro 🤣. I actually just sold my og ps5 to my mate at work because his daughter keeps playing baldurs gate 3 and he can't get on the new fifa game and it pisses him right off. So he asked if it was for sale and I let him have it for a reasonable price.

@GamingGod people mentioned pikes peak which made me drool a bit so I may have to install dirt rally or sebastian leobs rally as pikes peak is just insane. Have you played project motor racing? I bought it not long after release and I thought whilst it looked and sounded great it played like road kill. Fast forward 9 months and its a whole different beast now and I'd recommend it to the hard-core sim racers amongst us. If they ever make it psvr2 enabled like they promised it would be it would seriously rival GT7 for my attention. As it stands GT7 wins only because of the vr part.

@GamingGod zolder and Monaco would be awesome. I'd also like more rally tracks. I've always wondered just how great a rally game created by the GT7 devs would be? I'm just going to have to wait for AC rally.

I'm going to have to grab the hyundai. Seeing as I only play GT7 via the psvr2 headset I also need for the humidity and heat to drop as playing in vr in this heat is just plain uncomfortable.

@GirlVersusGame for years my wife and myself struggled and I mean really struggled. We've always been quite frugal when it comes to spending and I had nothing when I was a kid so it's always made me appreciate what I have now. My wife is a numbers person and she's always looking for mortgage deals that benefit us (we currently have around 7 years left) and her art business generates a bit of interest but it's her private commissions that along side her 9 to 5 job that brings in most of the moolah. I earn enough to be able to consider going part time (I'm 53 and I've had enough of breaking my balls every day.) So yeah we save like crazy and only purchase things when we have the funds. No credit cards or loans. I consider ourselves lucky that our hard work and persistence is paying off.

@get2sammyb you know what Sammy I actually liked this article. I'd usually have a dig at you for producing another rage bait article but this one resonated with me. All the top ip's that Sony sit on and all they've done is chase the live service model unsuccessfully. As much as I love marathon the game drastically needs fresh game modes as I am starting to drift back into bf6 and helldivers 2 for my online mayhem. Hulst needs to go-i mean look at the 90% voting figure which is probably the highest figure I've ever seen in a pushsquare poll. Imagine if Sony had taken in studios such as codemasters and criterion etc (yeah I'm biased because I wanted more dirt rally and burnout and I'm still super f**king salty about EA shafting codies.) No syphon filter,killzone,resistance,wipeout etc,etc,etc has really grated on me for the last 2 generations truth be told so yeah Sony need a massive shake up and hulst needs to go.

Do we always agree with each other? No we don't but we are both mature enough to know when it's time to draw a line under something and move on without falling out..too much..

@Random_play05 personally I took that "out of spite" comment as sardonic-maybe at a pinch sarcastic. Trust me @DennisReynolds is not a spiteful person. Sometimes he can get quite passionate about topics and can come across quite abrasive but once you get to know him you realise he is actually quite a sorted geezer..God knows I've had a few back and forths with him but we always end on a good note.

@AaronBayne so exactly what is the difference between base ps5 and ps5 Pro? Is there a resolution bump? Pssr2? I'm on the pro so I'd like to know a bit more information on the ps5 Pro performance. Oh and will you be reviewing crimson moon?
