You know I was on the fence about this but I've just bought it as it does look pretty good and it's a fair price..let's give it a bash.

@ShadowRJ I vaguely remember those. I understand why people like these novelty characters but I'm not really taken with them.

I love golf..I play golf for real and I'm good enough to upset "good" golfers and believe me they do like to get all shooter mcgavin when they can. I used to enjoy the 2k golf games a hell of a lot but to be honest there's only one golf game really worth your time on the ps5 and that is the road to the masters. Not a huge fan of these crossover things in my golf games as I'm a purist even though that may seem boring to most..I'm sure somebody will like this.

@SuntannedDuck2 sorry I can't agree when a website promotes equality etc and then leans very heavily in one direction. Stay neutral or don't bother.

@ErrantRob when it first launched it wasn't performing brilliantly to be honest but it's had a few small patches and one pretty substantial one to iron out the creases. Is it perfect? No but it plays brilliantly and the handling on both pads and wheels is very good. I hurt my heel a while back and couldn't use the accelerator pedal on my setup so I switched over to the dualsense and I was surprised at how well the cars handled. Dirt 2.0 is still top dog as far as I'm concerned but EA wrc is a bloody close 2nd..

@JohntheRaptor the majority of wheels work. I was using the thrustmaster t150 for quite a while before I upgraded to the t598 and a racing frame. If you need help with settings I'm more than willing to assist as there is a fair bit of tweaking required.

Well as much as I love vampire survivors and really hate to say this but hall's of torment is giving it a serious run for its money. Both are quite simply so damn good and addictive.

@Titntin I think you will enjoy EA wrc. A bit rough around the edges but it's got a decent career mode and it has a lot of cars and stages..have fun 👍

@FinneasGH it's so much better..graphically generations pips it but EA wrc is just a much better package. Do you use a wheel? It's sublime with a wheel.

@HonestHick I've been having a discussion latley online via psn with a few of the great guys I've met on this Web site about how I'm thinking of deleting my account after almost 10 years because of the biased nature and totalitarian attitude as to who can and can't voice their opinions. I'm still on the fence about it and it's a decision I have to really think hard about. I don't know if you have a psn account but I'd be happy to add you to my list of friends before I decide on what to do.

OK I'm really digging this game. I love the diablo style graphics and it's just so damn addictive. The review says the music isn't memorable but I very strongly have to disagree as that gothic organ style music is very reminiscent of castlevanias style..very atmospheric.

Loving the nay sayers here as always. I've been playing bf6 redsec most of the evening and it's great fun. Better than warzone at the moment in my opinion. Awesome game and I'll grab this freebie in the morning. Cheers for the heads up guys 👍

Just bought it after reading this review..watched a quick trailer and I'm liking what I'm seeing..

Wow where did this come from? This ticks all the boxes for me and I absolutely love the graphical style..I must have it.

@HRdepartment I grew up with the spectrum 16,48 and 128k machines..swapped to a c64 then onto an amigo..then the console boom started and here we are talking about loading screens 🤣

@nomither6 never used wi-fi..I've always been an Ethernet man and I always configure my consoles properly as well..its amazing how many people don't know how to configure their ip addresses in their routers or know what the DMZ is for. The outage was bad and very embarrassing for Sony which is why we have the eco system we pay for today.

I never bothered with uncharted online as it wasn't my cuppa but I had just given up on my 360 and bought a ps3 with killzone 2 and that sucked online..lag,lag,lag..fifa was shocking..call of duty black ops was OK but by christ it would drop you like a hot turd at any moment. Yeah I think your glasses are a much richer shade of rose than mine are.

This won't compete with BF6 or CoD. I hope it does well as it does actually look as though it could be a good game but there's no way it's going to be able to go toe to toe with BF6 or CoD.a

It won't be a day one purchase but I'll pick it up at some point.

Yeah I'm all in. BF6 is just superb and I loved warzone until they ballsed it up so as long as they keep the day glow skins and cartoon characters out of it I'll play it.

Does anybody actually remember how bad the ps3 could be when playing online? The lag could be horrendous and a lot of the lobby systems were a nightmare..warhawk was atrocious and as good as socom confrontation was that lobby system stank. Yeah it was free to play online but it wasn't great. The next xbox will have free online play? I'm not so sure it will if its an actual console and not the pc hybrid it's supposed to be.

@Member_the_game I have to agree..forza horizon 5 is pretty much burnout paradise on steroids and I see nothing on the horizon (pun intended) to make me want to try any other open world racer. If this has steering wheel support I might be tempted in a deep sale price but until then it's back to Mexico.

@Max_the_German I'm looking at getting the psvr 2 soon so I've been doing my homework and looking into the games that are supported. GT7 is obviously the main one for me being a sim racing nutter but there are plenty of others that have piqued my interest. Seeing all these negative comments about lack of support really got me thinking maybe it wasn't worth it but I'm still going to get one because the pros out weigh the cons for me.

@Ed_Zeppelin awesome user name. Dread zeppelin is one of my fave bands and Ed zeppelin is an awesome guitarist..who'd have thought elvis presley,reggae and led zeppelin would work.

Halo was always about the story for me. The multiplayer was good especially co-op but it was always about the story.
