@RawnDawn when it comes down to steering wheels it depends on how much you are willing to spend. I bought a thrustmaster T150 for £150 off ebay and that came with a stand to mount the wheel and pedals onto. It's a great beginner wheel and better than the logitech g29. It is a belt and gear hybrid wheel. However after a couple of months I wanted more so after much deliberation I decided to go the direct drive path and ultimately settled on the thrustmaster T598 (£450.) The fanatec gt7 wheel is good too and a lot of people will tell you it's better but after trying both I can safely say the T598 is the better wheel and is a lot cheaper. @Kidfunkadelic83 bought one on my recommendation and he's loving it too. There is a new logitech wheel for the ps5 but it's more expensive but by all accounts it's a great wheel. I don't think I'll need a new wheel as the T598 is just superb..I also bought a dedicated racing frame cockpit too and I've been living in the bloody thing ever since I got it. Whichever one you decide on I can help you with the settings too although I mainly play EA wrc and dirt rally 2.0 as they are just more me but gt7 is superb with the T598 (it has a dedicated mode for gt7) and I'm going to be buying the psvr2 headset mainly for gt7 because I have to have it...

I got extra days on my sub but I can't take advantage of any deals..exactly what is my motivation to continue subbing to extra when I get no incentive? I still think extra is a pretty good deal and I do play a few games in the catalogue when I get a very rare case of rally burnout but it would still be nice to save a few quid here and there.

The only game I play on my phone is mahjong..I love mahjong and its just a great little game for those long journeys.

Well I'm going to be totally predictable and play EA wrc,BF6 and Arc raiders although I did reinstall Grid legends as my mate has been nagging me to get back into it but in all reality it's going to be the incredibly addictive Arc raiders that wins out..Have a blinder of a weekend folks 👍

It's weaker than a base ps5 so I'm not interested. If it was more inline with the ps5 Pro and launches at a price that's competitive to the pro then I may have been interested but to be honest there is only one game at the moment that makes really jealous of the pc community and that's asseto corsa rally. That is really the only reason I'd consider this but I'm certain it'll come to us ps5 owners at some point in the future.

@TrollOfWar I used to have a t150 and it was a decent beginner wheel but I've upgraded to the t598 which is just superior in everyway and easily just as good as the fanatecs ps5 wheel but project cars is just horrible for me personally..

@TrollOfWar I'm sorry but project cars are awful games. Have you tried getting a steering wheel setup to work with these games? It's nigh on impossible and the games are just about playable on the pad..its a shame really.

I'm not surprised this scored low. It never looked like it was going to be a great game. I'll wait for project motor racing as that looks like it's going to be the better game and all the YouTube vids are singing it's praises at the mo.

Moto gp 25 and insurgency are the two ill try but can insurgency compete with the mighty BF6 and arc raiders? I highly doubt it but I'll give a go.

Despite what people think I'm actually glad it's performed well because that means a win for Sony and sucker punch so their future looks pretty secure. I find it funny how PS publish articles airing other publishers/developers dirty laundry but have yet to address the lead actor/actress in GoY's controversy or the lead actor/actress in naughty dogs upcoming intergalactic on the blatant insulting nature she referred to heterosexual male gamers. I'm eager to see if they will receive the same level of scrutiny that other games have in the past. Please note everybody this is my personal opinion.

The usual..EA wrc rally,Arc raiders,BF6 and halls of torment..At least my cough has virtually gone now and I feel a hell of a lot better..Have a cracker of a weekend folks 👍

@NieR_Dark yeah I've only met a few utter idiots but the experience as a whole has been superb 2nd only to helldivers 2.

@NieR_Dark tried getting into the harvester twice..the first time ended quite quickly as they don't tell you in this guide that as soon as you breach the vent there is a flame that shoots out straight away..burned me to a crisp. The 2nd time some scrote shot me as I was sneaking around the harvester.

The harvester event also appears on the blue gate map. Not sure if it happens on the others but it's not exclusive to the damn map.

@Medic_alert I didn't realise we were talking about the whole PlayStation eco system and I thought this was about counterfeit merchandising. "Even the standard controller now feels more premium electronics in pricing rather than a thing to play on." Well obviously seeing as the tech in the dual sense is (was) cutting edge when the ps5 launched. I'd love the dual sense to be cheaper and the ps5 Pro to be cheaper (because I want one) but it is what it is I guess. Its only going to get more expensive in the future.

@Ainu20 agreed..my comment was more to emphasise the point that Sony has aggressively marketed playstation merch since day one and its not something they've just arrived at. If you are blatantly copying somebody else's designs and trying to pass them off as genuine then you've only got yourself to blame ultimately.

@Medic_alert the PlayStation brand has been in premium territory since the ps1 launch.. backpacks,t-shirts,caps etc..the list is endless. I know there's nintendo and xbox merch but I think Sony really do have the most PlayStation branded accessories on the planet and none of it is particularly cheap either.

@naruball thankyou. I've had a couple of nasty flu type things in the past but this one has been the worst one by a mile. You think you are OK and then it comes back just to aggravate you some more. Halls of torments is great fun and it really is like if diablo and vampire survivors got a bit fruity with each other and this was the offspring they produced. Enjoy my friend 👍

@spazuluwarrior I've done a little bit of a deep dive to get more info on dirt rally working on the psvr2..apparently none of the psvr games are compatible with the psvr2 which really sucks big time. I'm sure this is something I should have known really but I've only just recently got interested in the psvr2 for GT7. Sorry for the misinformation bud 👍

Solid 9 from me..getting a few raids in each evening before BF6 and rally racing commitments kick in but I'm loving it.@wildcat_kickz it dosnt really need to be anything more than that. One of the things that does my nut in is having to navigate a map just to find the specific vendor I need to visit. This saves time but I can see your point. Maybe one day a game like this will cover both camps.

@Titntin no worries..I'm currently suffering quite badly with a viral infection as a parting gift from the horrible flu I've had over the past week or so and I'm a bit on the tetchy side. Even if it was a private forum and by reading the above article it would appear there were non employees present so wouldn't that in itself facilitate a breach of whatever NDA was in place? Ultimately its probably going to go in rockstars favor. People have to be so careful these days when discussing anything at all.

Is everybody here forgetting they supposedly discussed certain things in a public forum? Isn't that breaking the NDA thing?

Could it be down to regional differences in interest rates? I have noticed that since I've had my ps5 I've never been able to take advantage of any psn subscription offers because of when my sub runs out (end of november) but I recently received an email from Sony stating my next renewal date is at the end of the 1st week in December which now gives me that week I needed to take advantage of the discounts.

@Art_Vandelay yeah GT7 is the main reason for deciding to get the psvr2 hopefully this side of Xmas. As much as I enjoy GT7 I much prefer the rally games as there is an unprecedented feeling of danger and driving on a knifes edge especially with a really good steering wheel that GT7 just lacks. Visually GT7 wins hands down but EA wrc in Greece at night and rain really puts you through the ringer..I actually bit through my bottom lip during an online championship.

@CaptainWow I mainly play with the same friends I have played with since the ps3 era. We have always used private chat because some people are just ignorant (singing,shouting,being abusive etc) so it just makes for a better and more sociable experience.

@CaptainWow I agree with most of your points. BF6 is brilliant when I'm with my regular squad mates because we all pick a class that's needed (1 of each) so we all support each other. Communication is key (we all chat privately.) When the guys are not on I'm mostly going TDM. To answer your question about arc raiders player engagement I myself am finding it very good. The majority of the players I've encountered have all been extremely helpful and will not attack you unless provoked into doing so. It's a class game and i am finding it very compelling and enjoyable. If you decide to dip your toes in hit me up on psn for some raiding 👍

@Perturbator yes the pikes peak challenge was the sole reason for me purchasing dirt rally. Insanely difficult but so much fun with a racing rig..awesome.
