@carlos82 I quite liked my pulse 3d's but the battery's ain't good. Mine just stopped holding the charge so after 20-30 mins of use I was having to recharge them. So I bought the steel series ones and they are so much nicer. The sound quality is stunning.

I got this through my extra sub and it's a brilliant game. I played this way back on my ps3 and it started my whole fascination with souls like games. Apparantly this got a ps5 Pro update but I haven't tried it. Does anybody know if its any kind of improvement as the base ps5 version is pretty much immaculate.

No..I just bought a pair of steel series arctis nova pros and they are just superb. Expensive but worth every penny.

I think you are reading too much into it. @11001100110zero is simply trying to help people who might be a bit confused as to how you could build a PC to suit ones needs if they decide to go the route of pc gaming. There's nothing nefarious here. I built a gaming rig about 14 years ago and I had a great time but I got fed up with constant updates and maintenence and when it sort of died I returned to consoles for my gaming hobby. I think you are the borderline zealot in this conversation not the other way round..also quite rude to be honest.

I personally thought that he was explaining how pc tech works and how people misconstrue how it works and what's available out there. I found it informative and didn't think I was being persuaded to start pc gaming.

This isn't too bad. There's a few games I have that are all around that ball park figure. The CoD games take up a lot more space than that. This game looks damn nice but I'm not sure if it's a day one purchase as I have quite a bit on the go.

@Llamageddon I play golf and a years membership at my local golf club is over a £1000. I've not renewed my membership for the past couple of years for reasons other than how much it costs but my point is that a ps6 will cost less than a years golf sub and I'd get a lot more fun out of a ps6 than I would playing golf right now.

@wildcat_kickz I've not had my ps5 Pro that long to be honest and I'm still blown away by a lot of the games I'm playing. Dirt rally 2.0 is a ps4 game that had a ps4 pro update and it looks stunning still and I play it pretty much every day. I still don't think either the base ps5 or ps5 Pro has even reached their full potential yet. Its going to be interesting to see what the next console brings.

Every game that's released now have updates or patches. I'm sure there's exceptions to the rule but I can't see it being that many. Cartridges are a different thing altogether so on that format I'll agree with you.

Would I personally purchase a ps6 if its £1000? If my current racing sim setup is compatible with it and racing games become a lot better then probably. I was recently pondering purchasing a PC because I really want to play assetto corsa rally but the cost for what I require is prohibitive to me so if the ps6 will offer a upgrade that is acceptable to my needs at a fraction of the price of an equivalent pc then yeah I will. A disc drive would be nice if it supports backwards compatibility but it's not a deal breaker if it ships without.

@brakeman90 only if the means to get the latest updates are available. How many physical games are out in the wilds right now without the game on them? If the servers get shut down how will you access that game or get the latest up to date versions? I like my physical games mainly for the reason they can be bought a lot cheaper but I'm under no illusion that I own those games.

@wildcat_kickz well we know that pushsquare will have to pay whatever its going to cost just to stay relevant in the PlayStation universe. They have to buy it..they have no choice.

@johnedwin the tech is probably already outdated. Every new console always has customised tech which has already been available.

@Balaam_ you don't own any of your current games. Even your physical ones. You own a license to play those games. Your "ownership" rhetoric is so old now. Nobody knows if the ps6 will have a disc drive or if its backwards compatible in fact we know virtually nothing about it including the price.

@Quintumply what's it like with a steering wheel? I think you guys need to start playing these games with wheels so that those of us who have them can get an idea of what to expect. A dedicated rally mode already has me interested.

@cainhurst94 I'm not particularly super knowledgeable about AI to be honest. If somebody's going to say they detest something maybe include exactly what part or model they so despise as to make it clearer to others. Thankyou for the clarification though and I'll bear it in mind.

@GeoPlaysGames "I absolutely detest AI and its defenders." But isn't the ps5 pro's pssr2 an AI driven algorithm that makes the image better and more consistent? I'm assuming you like your ps5 Pro and if so enjoy the benefits pssr2 provides? I don't detest the AI defenders but I don't always agree with the use of AI. I think it's a tool that can be used to genuinely help improve things but I'm also very wary about how it be used for nefarious purposes too.

@RoomWithaMoose OK I see your point and I don't agree 100%. A lot of people are bemoaning the supposed cost of the ps6 whilst saying that they will buy a PC instead? It makes no sense to me. Snub Sony for charging a grand upwards but go and buy a gaming pc for considerably more? No logic there. At the end of the day it's horses for courses. If the ps6 was closer to the cost of the ps5 Pro people would be happier (mostly) but it's not and that's why they are complaining so yeah it kind of is about not being able to afford one.

@A-steak-with-ketchup PS5 Pro performance is barely noticible except to those who want to justify buying one? I was of a similar mindset apart from the "people having to justify their purchase" part. When I upgraded to my pro I was genuinely impressed with the differences I was experiencing. I installed crimson desert on my base ps5 and then on my spanky new Pro which I bought literally a day after crimson desert launched and it was very obvious exactly how much of an improvement it was. Now granted not all games are massively improved and the ps4 pro found itself in a similar situation, but for me personally most of the games I've replayed on the pro after playing the base ps5 versions have pretty much all been much better. I don't have to justify my purchase nor does anybody else have to either.

Well here we are again. I would never have guessed the next PlayStation console will cost over a grand. The only people who realistically are getting their panties in a bunch are those that want it day one but can't afford it for whatever reason. If you really want one or have to have one so you can:-
A) tell everybody how great it is and what they are missing out on or..
B) continue with your negative anti Sony rants because you own a ps6 and are the authority on the machine and how you can't see any difference blah,blah,blah...
Just start saving up..its that easy. £10 a month for however long it takes to appear should enable most people to aquire a chunk of cash to cover it or at least the majority of it. When it does launch it'll be the ps5 scalper situation all over again anyway so I'll wait it out and see what the machine does and how much it costs before committing. Recently I've been going through a bit of a gamer crisis where my mindset has been of the "I'm getting a bit old for video games." I turn 54 in just over a week and I've been pondering this dilemma for a little while now. So anyway to spare all the ins and outs and putting things into perspective I've stopped applying the age thing to myself and realised just how much I actually do enjoy my PS5 Pro etc and realised that 54 is not that old at all especially when @Titntin is well over 60 and still chugging away after his sponge baths and what have you. So yeah I'll probably be on board for a PS6 after all if he can why can't I? There's nothing we can do about the price hikes and Sony won't be bothered about boycotts (that never go anywhere) or anything else that people think will affect them. Start saving folks..start saving.

Midnight walk for me in VR. The motocross game will get a play. I bought HFW with the dlc in a sale about a year ago and still haven't played it but I will at some point.

@GirlVersusGame oh yes the raid redemption. The sequel is even better and I'm waiting for the much rumored 3rd movie. There is a movie on Netflix called the night comes for us. It has a few of the cast from the raid movies and its even more intense than those two. Headshot is also an excellent movie seeing as you have a penchant for Indonesian action flicks.

@GirlVersusGame I much prefer European movies. Another one of my faves is a French trilogy of movies called lost bullet directed by Guillaume Pierret. The car chases in this are amazing. All 3 movies are on Netflix and well worth watching.

@GirlVersusGame Ronin is such an awesome movie. That car chase is one of my all time faves.

The possibilitys are endless..imagine a Ronin set or mad max. Theres just so many iconic chase scenes to be utilised. Smokey and the bandit would be superb.

Burnt out with CoD. I enjoyed warzone a bit too much but once they started changing everything every 5 mins and adding celebrity's and beaver and butthole I just got fed up with it. Maybe if warzone is actually good this time and doesn't force me into installing a load of bloat I don't require I may give it a try.

@beltmenot don't listen to the nay sayers. If you want to try the GT games you go ahead and try them. GT7 despite what the grinches out there will have you believe is an exceptional racing game. I wasn't too bothered about a lack of career mode and I found the cafe and driving menus to be very good and the presentation is off the scale. OK its not perfect (no game is) but if its just a balls out eye popper of a racing game you are after then you can't go wrong. The base ps5 version is superb but if you have a pro you are going to love it. Got a psvr2? If you do you won't want to play a racing game in flat screen mode again. Psvr2 and a steering wheel plus GT7 is a driving fans heaven. My first gran turismo is a free version which whilst being a big demo will certainly tell you if you like it enough to buy the full version. The only gripe I have is that there's not enough rally events and I wish polyphony would bring out a full on rally game or at least bring a rally themed expansion to GT7.

Why is it always the game I'm probably going to play that's the last to be released on this ever so stupid drip feed model? Sony need to get their heads out of their arseholes and go back to the normal method of delivering content. It really is tedious.
