Re: Even More Ex-Xbox Executives Speak Out About 'Tension' of Game Pass

Northern_munkey

Wow PS really lit a bonfire this time. The comment section is on fire. Personally I don't really care for Microsofts consoles but I do like some of their games that are now making their way to the PS5. Bethesdas games are buggy as hell and have been ever since skyrim on the ps3..maybe even earlier than that to be honest but they've done pretty well for themselves despite the technical flaws that all their games exhibit..actually that's not really true as the last 3 doom games are pretty flawless. I'm not always happy with SONY but it's my platform of choice because its just better (my opinion) and more reliable.@Ricky-Spanish I fully understand what you are saying and I agree with your sentiments towards pushsquare but it'll never change. If it's not Microsoft they will always find a new chew toy to nibble on.

Re: Wolverine PS5 to Finally Be Revealed in Next State of Play, It's Claimed

@KundaliniRising333 I think the decline started about a month after the ps5 launched. Once everybody started knocking Sony for not delivering on the promises that were never made the ps5 has become the defacto target for keyboard brandishing trolls the world over. I hope the wolverine game turns out to be good because after avengers endgame the marvel franchise has become diabolical on all fronts. I quite enjoyed the avengers game despite its issues and the first spiderman game is decent although I've yet to play the 2nd. Anyway fingers crossed this will be a great game.

I've enjoyed every bond film even though they are super cheesy and filled to the brim with innuendos most of which are deemed inappropriate and outdated now. My personal favorites are the Daniel Craig ones but as I said I've loved them all.@messimagician I have to agree goldeneye was the best bond game of all time.

Re: PS5's High Price Becoming a Serious Headache for Publishers

Northern_munkey

This is a tough one for me. Do I think the ps5 is too expensive? Not really when I look at how much a PC capable of providing me with the same fidelity or better in games would cost. The ps5 has given me more bang for my buck than any other console generation and its most definitely provided the most fun. However its turned out to be the most expensive too because...
1) Thrustmaster T598 £450
2) GTplayer cockpit £280
And it dosnt stop there as I am now seriously thinking of purchasing the psvr2 headset so I can play GT7 and give myself serious motion sickness. Do I regret my expenditure? F**k no. Maybe if capcom optimised their games better they would sell better and make capcom happier. It makes me laugh when people moan and whinge about how expensive the ps5 and games are but they still bought one regardless and still buy games. Gaming is an expensive hobby but some hobbys are even more expensive. I also play golf although admittedly I have not played anywhere near as much since my mother passed away last year because it was something we talked about a lot but I can assure you all that golf is a lot more expensive. If something makes you happy and you are fortunate enough to be able to pursue your hobby of choice then the price is a moot point.

Re: Helldivers 2 Xbox Sales Estimates Predict a Helluva Start for Sony's Live Service

@TrollOfWar "I got a PlayStation only because my best friends are on PlayStation and I wanted to play online with them." I myself bought a PlayStation because I wanted a PS not an xbox which most of my friends use. If I'd bought an xbox just because my friends have one I would have been unhappy with my decision because I don't like Microsofts consoles and subscription. Sonys isn't much better to be honest but I just prefer the PlayStation.

Re: Sony Finally Fixes Free PS5 Game on PS Store, Access Not Yet Revoked

Northern_munkey

I've been playing this for a few hours or so to get to grips with it and it's a pretty decent racer but and this is the killer "but" for me and its whilst steering wheels are supported and work really well you can't navigate the map or answer the cell phone when the npc's phone you meaning you have to continuously switch between wheel and pad and it gets very frustrating to do so. If it gets fixed in a later update I'll return to it but for the time being I'll give it a miss..shame really.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 596

Northern_munkey

The usual suspects for me EA wrc,GT7 and forza 5. I was going to get stuck into carX street but having to keep switching between steering wheel and dual sense on the fly when you need to use the map started to grate on me so it's on the back burner for now. And there is the sublime shinobi art of vengeance too which is just superb on every level. Have a great weekend folks👍
