Yeah a pass for me if there is no 60fps. I just can't do 30fps any more partly down to reasons @Rich33 mentioned but mainly due to the fact I just don't want to. If it ever gets a patch then I'll probably get it at some point.

@GuttyYZ I'm not too sure about getting this. If the pro has a performance mode for 60fps then I'll probably grab it after launch but if its locked to 30fps then I doubt it. To be honest I have so much to get through at the moment and not a lot of spare time.

@XenonKnight not sure if you were replying to me. The challenger edition was a bare bones (very bare bones) online co-op mode. The main guts of the game just wasn't there. I installed it to play with some friends who were struggling a bit and I was a bit surprised at how much was actually missing. If you've only played that then I can understand your hesitation because it wasn't a great impression to give to new players. Bungie just made a similar mistake when it launched its free week trial and PvE mode and locked new players into cryo archive which is the toughest and most complex map design. An absolutely bonkers decision when trying to bring in new players.

@XenonKnight if you read push squares review of godfall and based your opinion on its score and everything the reviewer said about it then more fool you. Listen to what the actual people who put the time in with the game to learn the nuances of the combat and how the game works especially on how to build the different classes efficiently have to say. Godfall wasn't for everybody but it is an excellent looter/fighting game. Like I said earlier the lack of end game content was what let it down ultimately and the online co-op came too late but to give this game a insultingly low 4/10 just showed me that to trust a push Square review at face value is something I'll personally not do again.

Godfall is a pretty cool game. The combat was deep and very good. The only thing that let it down for me was a total lack of end game content. Criminally under rated game.

@TheEnygma forza horizon 5? That's a big open world racer on ps5 and currently the best one.

@For-Kier "and you just have to take Sonys word that means anything…" not specifically Sony though is it? All games that are pro enhanced carry that logo regardless of whether it's made by Sony or not. In my experience with my ps5 Pro almost every game that carry that moniker are a lot better performing than the base ps5 and look substantially better (AC shadows,GT7,Space marine 2 etc.) I'm guessing you don't own the ps5 Pro or if you do maybe a trip to the opticians is in order.

I was under the impression it was not going to be on ps5 for 6 months after it launched on xbox. I could have sworn there was a pushsquare article about it somewhere.

@Nepp67 the lag could be quite distracting but I've never experienced sound issues whilst playing with others. Wicked game and so much better than D4.

@Jacko11 there's nothing really new though but it does look like it's going to be a great racer. I know it supports steering wheels so this has been on my radar since it was announced. Not sure about the story though (not a big fan of narrative driven story arcs for driving games) but I'm sure I'll get over it.

@Slayer25c it's not always easy to determine sincerity if you can't hear the person actually talking. Some devs nail the 30fps and then some don't for example from software. Bloodbornes fps was shocking and it's criminal it's never been addressed on the ps5.

@Slayer25c I'm not sure if you are being sincere or not. I had zero issues with Gotham knights. I enjoyed the game a fair bit and I always felt the hate it recieved was a bit on the unfair side. It wasn't perfect and I think it suffered the salty wrath of gamers that felt they were owed another Arkham Knight. Looking back on it I think the 3 rocksteady batman games were always going to be very tough to improve upon.

I would like Stella blade but I'm not paying that digital store price and the physical copy isn't that much cheaper so I will just chip away at my backlog until it hits a price I'm comfortable with. Nobody will be forced into anything unless they let themselves be.

Oh this just gets better. So now they want everybody to turn off and unplug their consoles indefinitely? You see that 42% that say they've unplugged their consoles? I bet it's nowhere near that figure. That's people over inflating that percentage. If people are going to be really honest they would just say they are not happy with sonys decision but they are playing their games as normal because they want to. Sony don't care about this ridiculous boycott and don't really care if you never purchase a Sony product ever again.

And then there are people such as myself who have always been price driven. If I can buy the latest game on launch day on physical considerably cheaper than the digital version I will. Moving forwards into an all digital future dosnt bother me one iota it just means I will be waiting for deep discounts or until it hits my extra sub.

@ShadowRJ personally I don't like 30fps. Some games like Gotham knights look really smooth running in 30fps but the majority of games just look jerky to me. I'm pretty spoilt since I upgraded to the ps5 Pro because a lot of the time the performance mode is pretty much what quality mode was on the base ps5 except 60fps and that is pretty much the mode I play. When I look back at the games I used to play on the og xbox,ps2,360 I sometimes wonder how I never had a seizure.

I'm not joining in the blackout..I'm playing GT7 in VR and ghost recon wildlands. This is a ridiculous protest (my opinion) and Sony won't even bat an eyelid. I don't want an all digital future or an all physical future. What I want and I suspect most people here are choices and better digital rights such as when servers are shut down rendering a game you've purchased facing the possibility it may not be playable there should be some kind of recompense or something put in place so you can still play it. Anyway for the 5 of you worldwide not playing your ps5 good on you for sticking it to the man 👍

@GirlVersusGame is hell divers 2 possible solo? I guess you could solo it if you are a masochist. It's certainly possible up to challenging difficulty I guess but when you need to start farming the rare samples etc to upgrade your starship then you are going to have to crank up the difficulty and that's where it starts to get tough..really tough. I didn't think you had trivialised anything I said nor did I take anything the wrong way. None of us knew just how ill my mother was and by the time her diagnosis arrived it was too late unfortunately.

Hell divers 2 is awesome so it's not surprising. I've just started replaying this and seeing as I had just over 1800 super credits saved (not sure how) I grabbed the warhammer 40k warbond and the bolt pistol and melta mine are pretty epic. I love marathon but it needs to have a dedicated PvE mode on all maps as I think that limiting the PvE to cryo was a big mistake because it's such a complex area even for seasoned players and its a daunting under taking. I'll be the first to admit that I've bounced off marathon quite hard and it really needs something fresh to bring me back. When hell divers 2 launched I had just unexpectedly lost my mother and I made some really great friends via pushsquare who I still play with and they really helped me at a very dark moment in my life and I will always be grateful for the help and laughs they provided me with whilst dealing with the insane carnage hell divers 2 provides. A great game and one of my all time faves.

My trusty LG soundbar which I've had since forever died on me late Thursday evening so I went out yesterday morning and bought the Hisense AX5100Q 5.1 surround soundbar (dolby dtsx and dolby atmos) and it sounds fantastic..that wireless sub woofer kicks ass. So I'm playing helldivers 2 and ghost recon wildlands with the usual rally challenges thrown into the mix. Have a great weekend folks 👍

@wildcat_kickz the campaign was actually pretty decent if you just ignored it was a CoD entry but the multiplayer was god awful. I not sure but I think it was sledge hammers 1st CoD entry. I could be wrong on this so if I've got it wrong please don't bombard me with the kind of replies that are reserved for reddit subbers..

@Quintumply well I can recommend the one I bought this morning. After watching god knows how many reviews last night I narrowed it down to either a Vizio from amazon or this hisense model. The Vizio was out of stock so I went to curry's this morning and grabbed the hisense. Now for a comparison the Sony sonos is around £700 but you have to buy the sub separately (£400) and the left and right rear speakers (£200 ish) and the sound quality on the hisense was much better according to the review. That's an insane cost saving and just shows that sometimes it's just the brand name you pay for.

@KundaliniRising333 forgiven. For what it's worth the ps5 Pro is pretty damn good in the right hands. I could turn your comment around and point out sonys less than perfectly optimised pc ports. I've been pleasantly surprised with the pros performance especially in games like GT7 and quite a few ps5 games that have been pro enhanced that I got round to playing again. Space marine 2 was quite the improvement. Yeah I could have done what you did a spent a small country's national debt on a gaming pc but I didn't want to and the pro was a compromise in terms of what I needed with what I was happy forking out for. I know you like your rig a lot and I can't knock somebody for saving and getting what they actually want and not getting the option that makes you always ask "what if.."
