@Vovander @SoulChimera exactly the reason I won't bother with this until a VR mode is patched in. I wanted to play 7 but since the psvr2 isn't compatible with ps4 vr games I didn't. Shame as I love my psvr2 and I'd have been all over this.

"Newest Wolverine PS5 Update Wipes Out Scent Trails to Collectibles." It dosnt though does it. The game now has the option to turn them off and not what was implied in the sub header. Anyway looks like they gave in and gave the complainers what they wanted. Now all they need to do is remove invisible walls,the ugly women characters,areas that look like it should have been in the game but obviously wasn't finished so it's closed off etc,etc,etc. So maybe in about 1000 more updates the game may be in a state where people are happy with it.

I'm trying to get some sleep in but I'm finding it hard this week. I've started space marine 2 again and I'm quite enjoying the online co op. Now it's cooler (finally) the psvr2 headset is back out so its GT7 and resident evil 4 too. Have a great weekend folks 👍

@Areus I think most people rushed out and bought a ps5 Pro before the retail price went through the roof. Sure this game has probably contributed to it as well but I honestly think more ps5 pros were sold because of the imminent price increase putting it out of reach of a lot of gamers. I got mine roughly about a week or two before said price hike but I bought mine primarily to play GT7 in all its glory. Everything else is a bonus.

Why does it have to mean anything? PlayStation will still have games. Why does everything have to be high drama all the time.

It's got to have wheel support if I'm going to bite. VR support would be a bonus too but not a deal breaker.

Ball x pit..kiss your social lives goodbye folks. Take photos of your loved ones because you'll forget all about them after 5 mins. I think I played this solidly for about a month non stop until I grabbed the platinum. I still go back to it to try new builds. I wasn't too keen on the settlement management part at first but once I understood how to effectively use the buildings I realised that it was almost a puzzle game in itself and became obsessed with it. We need more games of its ilk.

@GilaMonster "King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard." Awesome band. I really dig the whole space rock vibe and overall brilliant absurdity of them. Have you heard slift? A French 3 piece who are very reminiscent (to me anyway) of early hawkwind. Check them out.

I love my Lord of the rings. I read the hobbit when I was around 6 or 7 years old and I read the Lord of the rings books when I was around 11. The silmarillion was the last one I read. These books along with the narnia chronicles were the books that filled my childhood with happiness and escapism. I really enjoyed these games too and I could overlook the issues that others have with them because I was just having a great time with the nemesis system. Would I replay them? Not sure to be honest but I have fond memories of them.

I actually really enjoyed halo on the ps5. It was what I pretty much expected so I wasn't disappointed. I'd love to see the other entrys on the ps5 but I think it's very doubtfull.

@Leinad7 the backwards compatability works with the ps4 games because it's practically the same architecture so of course those games work. The ps3 and ps2 are totally different in terms of tech and coding. That's why they are emulated..did this really need explaining?

I'll give destiny 2 a go if it has all the vaulted content reinstated so I could actually play the game from start to finish. As for the lack of apology that people are commenting on here,I think that if they had said sorry they'd be accused of putting out a hollow one. Damned if they do and damned if they don't.

@Puketapu @Propaperpusher I'm enjoying it although it's taking a little bit of getting used to. I've only played it for a short while as its still quite humid and standing there with the vr headset on and stabbing at virtual rabid hobos makes you pretty sweaty fast. It really is an incredible experience and I put it right there with GT7 and no man's sky as must haves if you own a psvr2.

I've not seen it yet but it's on my list. Currently scaring myself to near death with resident evil 4 in VR..great game.

@CashMadness I agree as I don't think it's worth £70 plus..I don't think any game is to be honest.

@CashMadness what exactly is your point? Genuinely wondering as you seem to very down on Sony fanboys or fangirls etc. So do you enjoy your PlayStation? Do you own one? Or are you one of those people that move from site to site criticising others for their likes or dislikes? There must be something that you like about Sony seeing as you are here on a PlayStation centric site. If not then why are you here?

Not entirely true but close. The ps5 Pro version ran pretty flawlessly whereas the base ps5 version was quite ropey. I played crimson desert on my base og ps5 to see what it was like the day before I bought my ps5 Pro and having had hands on with both the difference was big..very big. Now if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes (all 4 of them), I'd be sceptical about said claims but the ps5 Pro version definitely ran pretty much flawlessly compared to the og ps5.

@ilyn I pulled the trigger on a pair of steel series artic nova pro's..white to match my ps5 Pro and psvr2..£151 new of ebay.

@GirlVersusGame 🤣 we have an open plan living room and I have the rear right corner at the moment for my sim rig/gaming area and the rest is hers. It's not an issue and there's not been many moments where there's a communication problem. It's bear and boz that are the problem to be honest because they are opportunists when unobserved.

I am going to be spending the weekend playing resident evil 4 in VR. I couldn't pass it up for £8.79 and my first hour or so has been quite the disturbing experience but in a good way. There are the inevitable dirt 2.0 challenges too and seeing as the psvr2 is out maybe I'll squeeze some GT7 in as well. Have a great weekend folks 👍

I loved crazy taxi on my dreamcast. Its all I played for months. I'd love a ps5 version of midtown madness as the cops and robbers type mode was brilliant fun.

Yeah I'm all over this. I just reinstalled DD2 and had a quick play to check out the pro enhancements and I love it even more. Roll on October.

I have the pulse 3d headset and I'm pretty happy with the sound but the battery hardly holds its charge so I'm looking at the steel series artic nova Pro set. My mate bought them and he says the sound quality is far better than my pulse ones and the battery's last for ages. I'll skip the Sony ones I think.

@dwayne91 key word being uncertain. To me it's 50/50 as to what happens to marathon. I really enjoy the game and I don't want it to fail. I'm not blind either to sonys failings this generation. Marathon is a very niche game but what I just can't get past is when people who haven't played it think it's okay to pass judgement on it and those who like it.

@wildcat_kickz the hate for this game never ceases to amaze me and not in a good way. I'm also waiting to see what s3 brings before I jump back in. I think the pve mode they released whilst good needed to be more accessible to new players. Having it solely in cryo was a bad move as that map is hard enough for seasoned players. If I was a new player and I jumped in that I'd uninstall the game as its bloody difficult. @wilky2988 well I hope you don't turn up for work and your boss tells you that you'd better start looking for employment elsewhere..

Well what a surprise. It achieved absolutely nothing. I played my ps5 more I think than I have done for a while and it wasn't for cynical reasons it was mainly because my mate bought a new steering wheel and reignited our rather personal rally rivalry. @DennisReynolds all the anti corporate greed commenters on here make me chuckle. They damn corporations to hell and back for their anti consumer practices whilst furiously typing away on their smart phones or expensive pc's. I bet they all have really great tv's too and probably really good sound setups. If push came to pull they wouldn't sell the things they cherish but they expect everybody else to stop purchasing things. It's a joke and I love the hypocrisy and irony that comes with it.

It's the reason I didn't purchase the last one because I had to re-purchase the base game and the 1st expansion which I've already bought. If this egregious behaviour carries over to the next diablo game then blizzard have lost a life long diablo fan. Path of exile 2 is the much better game anyway and its updates are always free..I guess I've answered my own ponderings 🤣

It would have been nice as others have mentioned here already to have pointed out this Modder was trying to profit from this. I guess it's not such a tasty bit of bait if the whole bucket of chum is there.
