I thought beast of reincarnation was a simulation where the player manages the day to day reinvention of Microsoft and their games department..guess I was wrong.

@themightyant 100% agree with you and you echoed my sentiments more eloquently than I have the patience for. There's been a fair few games I've really enjoyed that got some seriously toxic feed back in certain media outlets such as the first berzerker khazan,the first descendant,off the grid and few others. I prefer to make my own mind up and play a demo if possible. If I don't like the look of something I don't feel the need to launch scathing attacks and be a massive tool about it.

@somnambulance it's a shame it only let's you have 3 raiders max. I have 2 guys that I raid with on a regular basis and there's a few on here that are now on my friends list with the purpose of joining up for some mayhem but it's tough as it's pretty much first come first raid..such an awesome co-op game and equally as great as the epic helldivers 2.

@KundaliniRising333 indeed..me and my trusty level 4 kettle,jolt mines and explosive mines..rats will cry.

@somnambulance don't worry about getting the point and just enjoy it. I don't really get the point either and there is some kind of story in there I think but I'm just having a right old blast raiding with my mates,collecting blue prints and killing the rats when the little horrors rear their heads above the tarp. Awesome game and it's great a relatively small team is giving it large to E.A.

Whilst it's not something I would use I don't see the problem of it being there if people want to utilise it. Surely more options for gamers is a good thing yes? So long as its not a mandatory system update its not an issue unless people want to make it an issue.

@Dalamar I just checked as I have not played nfs unbound for a while and no you can't turn off the cartoon effects. What you can do is customise them so they are just plain effects eg the smoke off your tyres etc but all the silly emoji that yours and the other cars spew out are still there. You do get used to them but the option to turn them off completely and the option to remap your buttons would have made this a lot more enjoyable for me. Still a great racer.

@TheArt I bought BF6 and was happily chugging away through it and then I made the fatal flaw of purchasing Arc Raiders and I forgot about everything apart from the rally games. I got psn vouchers for Xmas so I picked up assassins Creed shadows,showdown the hunt and project motor racing because that's had some really big improvements. I just can't resist the racing games 🤣

@TheArt heard so much about the game and at that price it was hard to pass up. That game requires some serious patience I just don't have but I may give it another try at some point.

Try and finish most of the games I have and stop buying games in the sales and adding them to the stockpile. Play more Dirt rally 2.0 and EA wrc if that's even possible. Gotta grab that psvr2 headset and the ps5 Pro as soon as I can.

If people want to discuss your reasoning rationaly then so be it but to be rude about it is not on as those that will be are the same people that will be having a right old meltdown when their opinions are lambasted too.

I'm not really that interested in any of the titles to be honest. Maybe phantom blade and saros but nothing really out of all of them is making me go wow. All of the wolverine footage I've seen looks a bit rough and stilted. Let's see what happens.

@RawnDawn it's a decent starter wheel in all fairness but I just needed something a lot more substantial as I'm all in for the rally sims...and GT7 of course. If you require any more help don't hesitate to reach out. There's a few of us on here who will be more than happy to help but I'm more of a rally guy so if you play dirt rally 2.0 or EA wrc then I'm your guy 👍

@RawnDawn which wheel did you get? I'd recommend setting the steering degree to 360 or 240 as it's an arcade racer. Anything higher than that makes everything feel as though they have the steering cycle of a tractor.

@GamingGod indeed it is..the devs have already confirmed the console versions are already underway.

The only title I'm really chomping at the bit for is assetto corsa rally. I'm sure there's going to be a lot of great games that I'll probably enjoy but it's that one title I want right now.

@PsBoxSwitchOwner @graymamba I remember reading something along those lines but I can't see them excluding the ps4 owners who sub to the lowest tier. There are still a massive amount of ps4 owners and it would be a bit daft to alienate your paying customers. I hope they don't.

Good game once you get past the horrible cell shaded gubbins and the other inclusions nobody's allowed an opinion on. It works well with a steering wheel as well but it's a bit odd that you can't remap any of the buttons on either wheel or dualsense but it gives you the option to revert back to default control settings? Not as good as NFS heat.

@Deoxyr1bose I think that the furore over the AI generated voices in Arc Raiders is pretty sad. I'm not bothered in the slightest by its use and its pretty well implemented. In fact I can't think of any of the guys I team up with pretty much every night that has a problem with it either as we are all too busy having a blast.

My mate loves this game. I don't get it personally and I think it's massively over rated (personal opinion folks.)

So there is no release date for the ps6 but it could be delayed because of ram prices? How can something be delayed that has never had a date attached? This makes no sense at all. The ps7 will be delayed due to the ps6 being delayed by ram prices which will inevitably impact the ps8..

@Realist it's the same when somebody voices their opinion and it dosnt resonate with the "herds" opinions therefore it must be,absolutely has to be wrong.

Personally I'm not bothered if the game I'm playing on the ps5 is available on other platforms. Sonys pc ports have been pretty bad in terms of optimisation and pretty much all of the games that have made their way to the ps5 from Microsoft have been disappointing to say the least apart from the sublime forza horizon 5 which is just superb. This exclusivity debate is getting to be like an eastenders story arc that never ends and just gets more tedious as time passes.

@Balaam_ I didn't actually see that much wrong with your comment. You didn't say his choice was crap in fact you said the opposite. You voiced your opinion in the same way those that have decided you are wrong do so the same way from time to time. At least you didn't mention trophys this time. I don't particularly like any of liams choices but they are his fave games of the year and if I posted my top 5 games I've played this year I think only 2 actually came out in 2025. @CaptainWow personally I see nothing that even looks like it could be TLOU inspired. Yes it's a 3rd person game and yes the gunplay takes a bit of getting used to but it's absolutely nothing like TLOU. I can understand why people get bored quickly and get annoyed with the pvp but some of those that bemoan the pvp aspects of arc raiders go on to say they prefer the hunt showdown which is pure pvp and I just don't understand that. For me AR scratches an itch and I'm really enjoying it. Will I still be playing it this time next year? Probably not but let's see how embarks 10 year plan turns out.

@Sanquine we can raid whenever you want..I can ditch my 2 fellow raiders to help you with quests etc..

@BusyOlf it's these kind of moments that make me grin in this game. People are just focusing too much on the negatives and not the many,many instances of the community actually helping. I saw a player get brutally taken down by 2 rats..I downed the rats and revived the poor guy that got hammered and let him issue his own retribution on the filthy critters. We are now buddy's.

@KundaliniRising333 the cheaters are a big problem which is why I keep cross play turned off. There's always somebody who has to ruin what is a remarkable experience. Happy Xmas by the way bud 👍
