Well GoT got a ps5 remake in much shorter time but that was OK and wasn't TLOU2 upgraded for the ps5 in a relatively short time as well? Again that was OK too but a lesser game from a smaller studio gets a cheap jab from PS for giving its fans a native ps5 version after 3 years? The game is pretty good fun to be perfectly honest so I don't understand PS's negativity towards this..smacks of double standards.

The gore in this is really comical and over the top like bad taste and brain dead. The new wolverine game is more visceral like those French movies frontier(s) and haughte tension. The game looks good but certainly like all grasshopper games equally as mental. I'll probably give it a go.

Not much this weekend..its the ryder Cup so its all out open war against Europe and America..maybe a bit of EA wrc..have a good one folks unless you are American in which case I hope it sucks 🤣

@Rich33 I can see your point and respect your opinion. Its difficult to discuss something such as this without actually being able to hear what the other person is saying because context and nuance can be lost or words misinterpreted which leads to animosity and frustration. Its good to be able to discuss this topic with people such as yourself who don't get upset when somebody has a different opinion but I often find that certain people just can't or won't discuss things and refuse to see another angle.

I agree when it's applied properly and the context is there but unfortunately sometimes it feels as if you are being force fed others ideology and you are made to feel that your opinion does not matter. I think that from a technical point in terms of overall quality TLOU games knock it out of the ball park and really are excellent games for the fans but I personally find them boring and kind of depressing. Intergalactic looks as though its going to be another stormer for naughty dog but after seeing and reading exactly how the lead actress views the gamers that are not of a particular persuasion I decided I was not going to support a company who's quite happy for that person to say and post things that are quite frankly toxic and are things that myself and all of everybody else here would be censored for. Yeah wokeness can be a good thing but it can also be equally as vile as some of those who oppose it.

There was a brief moment very early on in the trailer where I thought it was Jason Bateman playing wolverine 🤣 but thank christ I was wrong..

I love forza horizon 5 although I just tend to jump in and out of it at the moment. I'll most definitely purchase this as soon as its available but I do wish forza motorsport was ported instead as that would have been more up my street. At least I'll have project motorsport in November to whet my appetite for my sim racing needs. I recently installed drive club again and I'm just gobsmacked that Sony never wanted to make a native ps5 version for this but we all know why and that's because whilst GT7 is a pretty spectacular racing game drive club was superior in just about every department and Sony can't have that can they? They could have at least kept servers running for it..

Where do I start? OK I'm seeing elements of returnal,outriders,godfall,remnant 1 and 2 and im also getting a bit a of a too human vibe as well..other than that it looks pretty cool but its just been done before.

Yeah I can wait a bit longer. Battlefield 6 is out before this but there is room for both titles on my ps5..

@Oz_Who_Dat_Dare I'm aware sucker punch issued an apology about comments one of their employees (now fired) made about a recent incident and that goes some way to restoring a small percentage of good will from my personal perspective but...they are still associated with the lead actress and that is still a sticking point for me. There's no anger from me just disappointment. Anyway I hope everybody enjoys the game when it launches.

My life long friend Chris is down at mine for the weekend and we are having an epic dirt rally 2.0 session..crazy fool brought his racing helmet and gloves etc..probably going to the pub this evening to consume a lot of guiness..have a belter of a weekend folks 👍. @Oz_Who_Dat_Dare thankyou. Everybody's entitled to their opinions and are free to make up their own minds. I have no issue with people's genders or sexual preferences to make that clear but I do have an issue with the insulting nature of the leads attitudes towards gamers and those that don't agree with them. But what do I know? I'm ignorant after all..

@Oram77 @Oz_Who_Dat_Dare I don't do social media of any sort outside of the PS forums and YouTube. I don't need to go into the details as everything is very easy to find online. Now this is my personal standing and my own opinions and I don't expect people to agree with me and as far as I'm concerned this is as much as I'm willing to say on the matter mainly because some people (discounting you two) will not be as respectful in their questioning of my decision. Let others make their own minds up as I have.

Along with intergalactic I have had all interest in this game diminished by the actors that portray the lead characters to the very rare point for me personally where I have to say that I won't be purchasing either game. I'm not advocating boycotting the games etc,etc,etc and I know both games will be great and I hope everybody who's been waiting for them enjoys them as much as I would have liked to but I just can't get past their comments and attitudes towards the gamers that will be lining their pockets.

@LifeGirl clones are one thing..shamless ripping off is entirely another. Paying homage to something is acceptable and can even be seen as showing some respect but this is just blatant artistic theft. There is no defending it.

I played the last beta weekend and I really enjoyed myself with it. It ran so well and looks and sounds pretty damn epic. Roll on October is all I can say.

I am no Sony shill (they offer nothing to me at all for me to defend them) and I often criticise their digital pricing of games etc. You say I defend Sony blindly without question which would make me a sycophant...not a shill. @S1ayeR74 so which ps5 console do you own? Original full fat version? Digital only? Slim? Ps5 Pro? It's easy to stand there and call people shills but you obviously bought a ps5 either at launch which means you got it when it was the cheaper version or you've bought one further on down the road which makes you one of those "shills" you are calling fellow gamers. Why can't people discuss things without having to be insulting anymore?

@darylb24 only a couple of years left for this gen? The ps4 is still supported and that's going to be the case for a while yet so the ps5 is going to be supported for a long time yet. The ps6 will most probably be backwards compatible too so look forwards to an even longer period of cross gen titles and remake/remaster/ports ad infinitum...

It's still more than enough space for most people unless you need every game you own installed ready to go. I have the original launch ps5 and I currently have forza horizon 5,GT7,EA wrc rally,dirt 2.0 and a fair few other titles too and I still have enough space if I need it. A lower price for the ps5 is only a good thing.

I prefer physical whenever I can. I'm not against digital but I am against the price gouging that comes with it. Physical is always cheaper online and it always will be. The space saving that comes with digital is enticing and very convenient but I like my physical prices and the way the games look arranged in my gaming unit..plus my young dog boz really likes them too the little f*cker...

I'm not particularly bothered about sonys own games if I'm going to be honest here. My fave games this generation so far have all been made by other studios and I've enjoyed more indie games this gen than any other. Elden ring,lords of the fallen,lies of p,EA wrc rally,forza 5,helldivers 2 (yes I know Sony) and way too many more to mention thus far and plenty,plenty more on the way. Granted it would be nice for Sony studios to bring more to the table but it's not that important to me.

Obviously the marmite games..I'll be playing this at some point but battlefield 6 is out next month and project motorsport the month after and they are my priorities. Maybe Santa claus will pop it down my chimney this Xmas.. F**ker left me a chunk of coal last year.

Same as @4fold as in I dont think they are rubbish but not my kind of games. I hope somebody enjoys them.

I was actually really looking forwards to this game until I read and saw all the comments the lead actress has been making about the gamers..not good and now I want nothing to do with it unless they replace the lead as I think she's actually a toxic person.

@Onearmbandit diablo 2 is the best in the series. D3 is great and is more fun than D4 but D2 is really the one you should consider.

@naruball have you tried kill knight? It's a twinstick shooter with rouge like elements. It's really good but it's very challenging. I play it off and on and I like it a lot. I don't know if you like metroidvania rogue likes but if you haven't (shame on you if it's the case) maybe check out dead cells. I had to uninstall that one because I was playing nothing else and found I was hoarding games because I couldn't stop playing it 🤣.

My personal faves are GT7 which at times are just stunning. God of war ragnarok is really nice too and I thought borderlands 3 had some superb graphics. I've not played a lot of horizon forbidden west but from what I have seen so far its probably the best of the bunch..GT7 though during races that shift from early evening into night are just out there..

@naruball hades is an excellent game. Thankyou once again for the soulstone survivors recommendation as its currently eating up my evenings. How did this one pass me by?

I've never understood the hate towards the borderland games. I've played all of them and enjoyed them all apart from tiny Tina's wondersh*te. Borderlands 2 was my fave entry. I'll be purchasing this as soon as I have time to dedicate myself to it but at the moment it'll just have to wait. I'm certain I'll enjoy it as much as the others.

@SodaPop6548 a few of us here are getting old enough to forget most things daily...apart from colonial marines..that memory will stick with me forever.

How much? I can get my wife to airbrush my controller any colour I want and it wouldn't cost me a penny.

I got my PlayStation a little after launch. I bought destruction Derby,wipeout and loaded. @Titntin I was still in my 20's 🤪
