My problem are the gwent cards..

I only started to try and get platinum trophies just before I bought the ps4..
And I only have 5 platinums.
The worst, for me, are the online trophies.
I have farcry 4 at 92% because I'm missing 3 online trophies.. but no one plays it now..
same with valentino Rossi the game, gt5 and others..(I know, there are a few communities that will help me get that, but still).
And I only go for the platinum if I really like the game.
Some trophies are really hard to get, either because they're really hard or you need to try and try.. (grand turismo sport is like, going really slow.. 322 online races, 65 pole positions and 91 victories, all online, is not easy.. at all)

I think that Death Stranding will win everything that it can win, because... because... well, because it's a Hideo Kojima game that is cool to like. (it doesn't mean that I don't think that a lot people really like the game).
But in time, the amount of Death Strandings we'll find for sell in second hand will tell a different story.

Just because you criticize something or have a different opinion, in doesn't mean that people hate one another.
It just means what it means. If you cook terrible and I don't like you food, It doesn't mean I hate you. Just that I don't like your food. And maybe is a question of taste or maybe it is just really bad.
In any cases, you need feedback. Positive or negative. Otherwise you don't evolve.

I'm going to try this game, eventually.
After the jedi knights and kotors, there hasn't been a really phenomenal starwars game and I'm afraid that this is still true, today. (not at the same level, at least).

When I started the game, 3 hours in I was giving it 8 maybe 9 out of 10.
Now? 6 maybe 7 in 10.. I totally agree that if it wasn't from hideo kojima, it would get another type of reviews..

Ok, so I initially said that this games was a solid 8, but the more I play it, the more I feel that a 6 or a 7, at best, is what it deserves.
This game is boring. Yes, it is a different experience. And it's nice, for a bit.
But at the end, it's a go there and get/give that kinda game.
So every person that says this game is incredible, next time they play a game with too many fetch quests, they should be in paradise..

I understand the comparissons. In some points, they almost touch, I agree. But, at the same time, you said it all when you wrote "In Red Dead, you can spend hours just wandering the wilderness(..., etc) — but the illusion of peace is completely shattered when you're jumped by a bunch of bandits (...). It's the same in Death Stranding — so much walking." So much walking.. That's everything you have.. walking.. That's where I think the game loses. The trailer showed fighting in first or second world war and hand to hand combat. I haven't played enough to get there (the shooting part), but I already now that that's just a very small part of the game.. So, in RDR you don't die of tedious.. With Death Stranding? -_-'

Also, if the person that wrote the story says he doesn't understand it, what's the point? He's just saying "I wrote something that doesn't make sense and I can't explain it". And, in my opinion, that's not genius. It's bs.. Don't get me wrong, I love the man. I love metal gear. But this game is getting too much credit..

Skyrim was an example. I could had given Mafia,The witcher 3 or Red Dead Redemption or so many others as an example. Games loved by so many and didn't get a perfect score, that were amazing, still are today. No 10 in 10. No problem with that. Although, for example, so many people say that these games I just stated, are the best games they ever played (I personally also include them among my favourites).
Death Stranding getting a 10 in 10? That's kinda bold statment. I think that the users reviews is even worst than it should because so many people are angry that the game scored so high, when it shouldn't, and are actually scoring lower than it should too.

I only tried to give a solution, but I totally understand that is not that simple. The only thing I wanted to say was, when you give a 10 in 10, just think of the weight of that choice, and if you arrived at that conclusion, that the game is really a 10, maaaaybe talk about it with other people that played the game..
A score as high as this one in a game like this, just takes a litle bit of credibility from the reviewer.
I think I'm not alone in this one..

Really? I'm sorry guys, I love your work, I come to this website 3 or 4 time a day, and I really like the community that exists here.
But I've played DS. It is a good game, but a 10 in 10? Game of the year? You should do better. As said by @ShogunRok a game score is an opinion of one person. But it shouldn't. It should be the opinion of a group. I understand that there's no time for everyone to test all the games, but when we're talking about a 10 in 10 it should be from everyone that works there. Not just one person.

OK, so I understand that the game is not for everyone. I also understand that it is a completly New experience. But 10 in 10? No, not even close. I can't help to think that the "adoration" for Kojima has made all this great scores. But this game, at max, is an 8.5. Otherwise, if the next truck simulator comes out with great graphics, ultra realistic with high tension moments when doing very difficult manouvers, even if it is very very Boring, it has to have a 10 in 10.. Otherwise, this is just hypocrisy.

Maybe it is as the article says. Maybe people are just being idiots.
But I've allways felt like people were already saying that the game was going to be incredible, even before anyone had tested it..And PushSquare is a litle guilty of this too.
So, when I saw that I'll eventually walk more than anything else in this game, my thoughts were "ok, maybe this game isn't as good as I thought". I don't know. I'll start playing it in a couple of hours.

I never finished Nioh (I was kind a fool to buy this game. I was expecting a game more like The ghost of tsushima. Monsters aren't really my thing in this case). But with so many people playing it now, It will be easier to finish it with someone's assistance.
But not this month. With death stranding just arriving I probably won't be playing anything else. Unless it's a flop.

You can try to sell anything above the price. It's up to the person who buys it to decide if the value is good for them.
Even if it's not art. A car in second hand, for example. You see the same car, same model, same year, same km's, etc. Usually there's a price range that is acceptable. Other times, you find one a lot cheaper or more expensive. That's what makes a good deal and a bad deal..
About your example, yes, it's a scam. Because you say that it is special, when it is not.. Or maybe it is a super rare marble and it isn't a scam at all.

@Deadcow why or how is this a scam? The price is, for most people, ridiculous, but it's well explicit. They're not caiming to give you more for that money.
There was an app, that just had a picture of a dimond and it sold for 1000$. And that's it.. Was it a scam? no. Was it stupid? yes. Still, people bought it..

@Constable_What You have to activate automatic backup for ps plus on you console. It's the Big thing for me, that makes me stay with plus instead of changing to ps now.

When I bought Nioh, at the time, I was expecting something like "the ghost tsushima" kinda game.. (yap, didn't read the reviews at the time)..
But it's good that it comes with plus. It revives the game and it makes it easier to get to play with the help of others.

@MightyDemon82 Told ya And, although it has some scenes that can help to predict somethings while playing the game, I did not understand a damn thing. I was just amazed by the graphics, and that's it, and yes, more hyped..

It shouldn't come as a big surprise, since almost every game require ps plus to play online this days..

@MightyDemon82 I've been ignoring everything about the game after the first big trailer. I haven't seen any of the gameplay.
Yes, it may show 2 or 3 things that maybe will make me predict something while I play, but aside from that, I think it's worth it.

Most people that played wildlands were people that played the first Divison (or big percentage at least. And I really don't have any data to corroborate this.. but ).
My vision:
So, since TD2 is a "kill rinse repeat" game, people play it for a looooong time.
So, launching one game so close to another wasn't a good move, since you play one or the other.
And being both AAA games with price tags matching this, is less likely to people buy both.
Another thing was, also, the state of The Division 2. The game came out with so many bugs that no one, after trying TD2, would want to go near GRB.

This just follows pretty much almost every game that comes out. For all the games that I bought as soon as they came out in the last year, apart from Red Dead Redemption 2 and a couple of others, all were not really finished products. After The Division2 pre-order, I made the decision of never buy on release or pre-order ever again. Unless is a thing like death stranding or cyberpunk (the force is too strong with those two)

@ShogunRok And how much would be that in Euros? Because netfilx is 11.99 euros in the rest of europe, about 10,35 pounds (the less expensive option).

Also, I believe this was already on the roadmap, so "in for a penny in for a pound"..
What do they really have to lose with this?
Also, if the game was a mega hit, as they thought, this would be big.

I think that this (and every game) that launches near the 8th november, won't have a great reception. At least on PS4..

@rjejr @Constable_What If I understand correctly your question, you're talking about the article, right? In the case that if it was possible to connect the gamepad directly to the router?
Since your router is so far, the connection to the ps would probably work better. But, if it was possible to connect the gamepad directly to the router, and the connection was good, this would be faster, since you would be skipping a step (connect to the PS that was coonected to the router) and the bluetooth connection can be slower than the wireless route connection.

I loved a lot the first Division. I made friends in the game that i still play with, today. After playing for a long time (way more than 500hours), I started playing other games but these guys kept playing The Division every day. Some won every patch that was possible.. Imagine our excitment with The Division 2..
So, is the game good? Well, yes, but:
The texture loading pop ups are amazing (this is not a good "amazing").
So much that in the forums, the moderators have accepted a switch from a normal disc to an ssd as a solution.. Although it is better, it still is incredible that a AAA game does this.
Also, the constat updateds and changes to gear and guns just makes people that really invested long hours to the game to suddenly lose a really good build they work so hard to build. And the biggest update to armor and guns (again) is coming with this update.
The season pass value isn't worth it (7 days early access and 2 extra really (really!) small missions and 2 more (still really really small) for each episode with a unique trinket to each mission).
There's also the first PTS controversy that enraged so many console players with season pass that lots of them just quit the game (I must say that I was tempted to do the same at the time).
And to finish, the dark zone isn't fun anymore. Especially with the normalized stats..

But not everything is bad. The game, with other players, is still a lot fun in PVE. More missions than the first one. And when the textures are all there and fully loaded (lol!) the game looks amazing.
There's also the Raid (8 players team) that, for most of the people was really a good thing.
And for me, one of the biggest things that made me not to just quit playing the division: the easy way that you can interact with the guys that really develope the game is amazing. They do listen to the community (some times more than they should, since somethings are getting way to easy) and they did improve a lot from technical to content. I still think that the game came out unfinished and paying so much money to buy a game with so many bugs was really frustrating..
So, with all said, I'll be trying this update as soon as it comes out. For how long? I don't know.. we'll see..

Edit: I started to give my opinion and ended with my own review of the game.. too long.. I know..

I played and enjoyed a lot the Beta. But when there was a guy with a mouse and keyboard, fun was over..
They had punkbuster for the first one in pcs. Maybe they could add something similar to catch people using Xim or similar devices and, not ban them, but getting them in the same servers..
That's why I usually let fps go and just play them in the PC..

@ShogunRok was this tested on a stock ps or a ps pro? or do you have a ssd disk? I'm asking because of the known texture issues present on The Division 2..
Although this game look really tempting, I'll wait a few months before even considering buying it.
From my experience with the Div2, all the bugs will take a while to get corrected, if some are corrected at all..
I waited some time for assassins odyssey and I believe it was woth it.

@playstation1995 Going completely off topic here: well, it was a joke but usually they don't. It's really rare to find french people that speak good english. Even french people that speak good english would say that, and there's a reason: All movies are translated to french. No subtitles. So they're simply not used to listen to english.. Also, 40% of all the music that passes on the radio must be french.. (I have lots of friends in their thirties that never heard of PearlJam, for example. ). If you go to a mcdonalds and ask for a burger using proper english, lots of times they won't understand you (not joking, seen it more than once). So as you can see, unless you experience things, you don't really know the reality you live in. On the other hand, France is one beautiful country with an amazing history full of nice poeple. And they do now how to cook a duck.. As I said, if you can, travel and experience new cultures.

Well, actually I did, but in a way that lots and lots of people address to the games as free and really don't care about the quality of the games.. They just have ps+ to play online. And that's fine, but supposedly they are also paying for the games.

And to be true, in the ps3 days, you didn't need to pay to play online. So I think it was clear that you were paying for the games..
If tomorrow we had to pay just to play online, no "games" included, most of the people would pay (maybe not the amount we pay for plus, but a little less, I really think that we would).

In terms of services, both are now very similar (aside from the promotions with ps+, that most of the time are not good enough).
So apart from the online storage, psnow is looking better..

This is almost what PSplus was before..
People now days say "free games on ps Plus", but Hey, they're not free. You're paying for them.. But since ps plus is required to play online, people's view on ps plus has changed to simply paying to play online with the games as a "free" extra..
Also, the games in the PS now library, atm, are old. And most of them are already in my library since they got out on plus or I already bought them (at the time or now, since they are old, they are cheap..)
So it maybe something good for someone that hasn't plus for a long time, and it's "starting to play", but for me and most players that play regularly or have ps plus for a long time, it's not worth it..

Edit: I just saw that the "playing online" is included.. So the only difference now between ps plus and ps now is the online storage.. If they add that to the ps now, I wouldn't mind to play a litle more for the all package..

Edit2: Ok, so I just saw that the saves are stored online. So, that makes it even more interesting.. just as I said, if they add the storage online part, I would subscribe in a heartbeat.

I always loved the Tropico games.. @johncalmc Is the game compatible with a mouse? Because, if not, it is has @naruball said, this is a better fit for pcs..

I've never got the "last of us" fever because, maybe, when I finally tried the game, was already the remastered. I think it's a good game, with a very good story. But that's it. So I'm just curious to try it when the prices drop, unless there's coop.. And if by multiplayer, they're talking about coop, well, that's a game changing..

On a side note: What's funny to me is to see so many people almost offended because someone said that they would cancel the pre-order or others because the multiplayer was postponed.. People, chill out. Relax.

@ShogunRok Really good review. The kind that makes you buy the game if you really want to play the last Fifa or makes you think that maybe you should wait till the game is patched and then give it a go or not at all.

About Fifa: Meh, the carear mode was a funny thing so I think it still is but not that good and the ultimate for me has no appealing because of the "pay to win". Still prefer to be the manager of a small team, buying and selling player, and work my way to a big club.

To be fair, the helmet is not a real helmet and you're not supposed to wear it. I've bought a first world war gas mask but the filter is made of asbestos (at the time, they did it like that..so most of them are made of asbestos), which causes cancer.. So you're not supposed to wear it but no one says anything... And it's a real mask..

Also in the USA, no problems with guns. But a decorative helmet is dangerous..
