Terminator 2D: No Fate team Bitmap Bureau has had to confirm a second delay for its promising PS5, PS4 side-scroller, this time because of issues with the physical version.
The first delay was caused by wait times on certain parts of the physical edition, and they have now made it to the developer. However, it now needs time to put the boxed copies together, and so it's delaying all versions (both physical and digital) again to 12th December 2025.
Alongside the standard version, there's a physical collector's edition on offer containing an artbook, flipbook, a "premium metal paperweight, cloth poster, and collector's tin. Presumably, it's these contents that have pushed the title back a second time. You can view the collector's edition below:

The statement from publisher Reef Entertainment reads:
First of all, we want to start by saying thank you. We know you’ve waited longer than expected for the release of Terminator 2D: NO FATE, and we truly appreciate your patience and support throughout this journey.
The physical components for all editions have now finally arrived, following the ongoing delays that pushed us off our previous schedules. However, we now have to assemble the physical editions, which we need some time to do.Because of this, we are moving the launch date of Terminator 2D: NO FATE to December 12, 2025, for all physical and digital versions of the game.
We are sincerely sorry for the repeated delays. We don’t take your patience for granted, and we never want to disappoint our community. Our goal has always been to deliver the game that you deserve, and we're almost there.

Take your time. But any info about the price?
This warms my heart. Preferential treatment for those who prefer superior physical media and permanent ownership, while the lesser digital caste stands idly by waiting. It’s 10 o’clock in the world, and all’s well.
I’m almost losing interest with this being delayed again all for some stupid collectors edition
This is clearly a load of rubbish, and nothing to do with the Physical version...
They should just admit they are having difficulty with the AI...
All this hassle for a version that will barely sell.
Another hit piece on physical media. 2in 24 hours nice work. Jk
why release at the same time?
I would like physical versions after release that are fully patched with everything on the disc on the
Removed - unconstructive feedback
They should just release the digital version followed later by the physical. I don't think it matters and that way the team gets a a second marketing bump when the physical version releases
It's the third delay.
Original release date was 5th September.
Delayed to 31st October.
Delayed to 26th November.
Now delayed to 12th December.
@PuppetMaster I saw it at Best Buy for $60 USD, and the collector edition double that. Way too much for a side scrolling retro game if you ask me.
Don't buy it, look at Alan Wake 2 and Baldurs Gate 3, I waited a good year or so before picking either up physically but could have gone digital if I wanted. Worth the wait though especially that BG3 boxset.
Whilst I'm still looking forward to this it is getting a bit daft now.
It seems that in an attempt to lean into the old school leanings of this game they decided to do the physical edition as just 2 guys in a garage, like they would have back in the good old days.
Next delay: we now have received the missing items and assembled the physical editions, but have realized we will need boxes to send those over and are thus delaying the game release...
We might delay it further when we realize we need stamps, and possibly again when we realize we have to drive to the post office ^_^
@Steeleye25 dang, i thought it would be $30-40. I think i'll wait until the price got down but i'm a bit worried they didn't print a lot of copy.
Thanks for the info btw 🙇♂️🤝
@Balaam_ Weird way to say catering to the vocal minority.
I don't care about collectors editions, yet I'm having to wait to buy the game because of it. I don't understand why they can't just release it digitally, and then release this at a later date for those who are interested. Like with the Tomb Raider Remasters.
@PuppetMaster
£44.99 for day one edition and £89.99 for collectors if I remember correctly, think they were a little cheapest after the last delay but I can’t honestly remember how much they were but think they went down a couple of £
@Jammer
The difference is though they delayed the digital versions as well as the physical versions which seems rather strange really
Why not just go ahead and release the digital, then do physical later? Other places do that
It's a shame, but I'm not that bothered by the extra delay.
@PuppetMaster 60 day one and 90 for the collector
