For the first time ever, madcap PS1 minigame compilation Milano’s Odd Job Collection will release in English on 9th December, courtesy of XSEED and Implicit Conversions.
The game – which first deployed in 1997 on the PS1 – will see you assume the role of the eponymous 11-year-old Milano, who’s forced to spend the summer with her uncle after her mother gets unwell.
Unfortunately, it turns out her uncle is on vacation, and so our industrious heroine decides to fill the time with several odd jobs, each zanier than the last. You’ll be delivering pizzas, milking cows, and much more over the course of the campaign.

In between odd jobs, you’ll also be able to decorate and furnish your uncle’s home, because that’s the kind of activity 11-year-olds love to do when they’re not at work.
This being an Implicit Conversions joint, you can expect all the modern conveniences of a contemporary re-release, including save states, rewind, and so on. The release will also feature vastly reduced load times.
But is this a retro re-release you’re planning to pick up? The game will cost $14.99 so it’s not going to break the bank, and it’s great to see it finally released in English, almost 30 years after it first launched.
