I couldn’t care less if I’m honest. I buy a few games on release and certain games that I’m interested in but don’t have the urge to play immediately I’ll wait till they drop to a price I’m willing to pay or wait till they come to PSplus extra. If they were doing dynamic pricing for new releases then it would be different

RE9 for sure! Finally finished my insanity playthrough and got the platinum today

Really enjoyed my time with this it’s a shame that pixieopus was closed. Currently doing my speedrun on RE9 before I take on the Insanity playthrough think I’ll get it done in about 3 hours

Only game that can save it is Half Life Alyx.

Pre loaded ready to play tomorrow. Thought Death Standing 2 looked beautiful but this could be even better, can’t wait

@trev666 I can be a pain to get hold of the psvr adaptor if playing on ps5. I got mine as soon I was able to but don’t know if Sony are still making them anymore

One of my favourite platinum trophies and my only one on the psvr. Wish they would do a psvr2 version so I can play it again. I’ve started moss about 10 times now on my psvr2 and every time one of my kids comes and annoys me until I let them play instead.

I can definitely see them putting ps plus up this year might be time to stack up on a few years

@GamingGod it’s been a while since I played a Lego game so might play that with my youngest son. It takes two is fantastic if you want a great co-op game with the Mrs. Love a way out too but didn’t like what you had to do in the end, played that with my oldest son (who’s a much better gamer) and he destroyed me 🤣 looking forward to what Hazelight do next. I wish I could go back and play the order but I just can’t play games at 30fps anymore, must be my old age. Going to give Marathon a go when the server slam starts to see if it’s for me, was a big Destiny 1&2 player but fell off after final shape. I just wish they had a single player story baked into the product so I could of explored the world at my own pace first

@GamingGod The Order was my first ever platinum, I really enjoyed it and thought a sequel would have fixed a lot that was wrong with it. I thought the world and premise were outstanding. Tales from the boarderlands was the best story they’ve done in the franchise. Got 14 platinums last year and on the beach is my 2nd this year after thank goodness your here..Got less than 2 weeks for RE9 so might see if there’s a small game I can squeeze in beforehand. Will be starting my replay of split fiction with my son soon. Happy gaming 👍🏻

@GamingGod I wish I thought of that 🤣 I’ve got my PlayStation to record a 30 second clip when I drop a plat. I think I’ll still jump back in from time to time to do the odd delivery and listen to the fantastic soundtrack. What you playing now? I’m thinking of getting the new Doom game while it’s on sale

Finished death stranding 2 story and i absolutely loved it. On to the final chapter now and grinding out for the platinum

Continuing death stranding 2 today. I did get a little annoyed last night playing as I had planned to save and come off after I made one more delivery but then got stuck in a 40 minute cut scene that I wasn’t expecting

I’m 25 hours into death stranding 2 and I’m loving it. Not sure how far I’m in just climbed up a snowy mountain which was fun 🤣

I thought it already ran at 60fps? 4 is still locked at 30fps

@GamingGod thanks for the tips I’m really early in the game so only just started in Australia. It feels a lot easier handling BT’s this game as I had a load of trouble in the original. I spent 4 or 5 hours setting up a zip line system in the first game that really help me get a lot of legend of ledgers ranks so getting 5 star ranks at all outposts became a lot quicker. I’m really looking forward to spending a lot more time in this world

@GamingGod I remember it taking me 120 hours to platinum the original so that’s why I’ve probably been putting off starting this for so long 🤣

@HRdepartment yeah I’ve had it since launch and tried to start it so many times but I can be daunting knowing it’s going to take up a hundred hours to fully complete

Finally started Death stranding 2 and my god is it beautiful. I’m already hooked back into Hideo’s world and can’t wait to explore his new playground

My number 1 game this year. Final level is something I’ve never seen before and an absolute blast

Loved the witness and the final challenge was one of the hardest trophy’s I’ve ever done. Took me quite a while to finally get the platinum

I’ll look out for Going Platinum in the future, been hooked on those shiny trophy’s for quite a while now. Never played rocket league as it’s not for me, my son has the platinum as he loved it. I was quite late to the trophy hunt as my first was the order 1886. Currently going for number 155 Hogwarts legacy on PS4

I really should start death stranding 2 but I’m just not in the mood to play it. I found out the PS4 version of Hogwarts Legacy runs at 60fps on the pro so I’ve started my platinum playthrough, spent 6 hours getting to the map room with the other houses first now I can start my full playthrough today. I’ve had the itch to go back to it for a bit, hopefully I’ll be in the mood for DS2 over the Christmas break

The truth is valve do what they want even if it hurts themselves in the process. If they cared about making money Half Life Alyx would been on psvr2 at launch and there would remasters of the orange box and portal 2 on PS5. That fact remains that steam makes so much money that they don’t feel the need to have to sell anything they make to the mass market anymore

Seeing as we aren’t getting a dead space 2 remake I’ve had to play it on my series x with frame rate boost and auto HDR and it’s been fantastic shame there’s no way to play it on my PS5 😞

I’m playing sword of the sea today, really beautiful game so happy Sony helped out to get it finished. Will be going for platinum hopefully today as I want to dust off my PSVR2 to play Moss

@StitchJones what’s Cronos like? I’ve had an eye on it for a while but been dealing with my massive backlog. Dead space 1&2 are some of my all time top games and seeing I got burnt by the Callisto protocol I’ve held off on Cronos

It’s a high 7/8 for me combat is fantastic and an absolutely beautiful world but I’m getting annoyed by the story. I thought I was going to fight one of the 6 three times before I actually got a chance to fight and beat him

Ghost of Yotei really beautiful game. I’m loving the combat I’m using the bounty hunter outfit and trying to play it like Sekiro. Had a blast fighting some dude on top of Mount Yotei. Been trying to clear each area before moving on to the next so I’m not too far into the story

Right when Battlefield 6 launches, they must be worried

I’ve played Destiny from the original alpha back on the PS4 but I’m finished with it now. The final shape was the perfect end to the saga and everything after that has felt redundant. They should of moved onto Destiny 3 for a fresh start, there’s no fun to be had playing it anymore so time to move on 😞

How long has it been since the last PlayStation showcase? it feels like years

I haven’t played since I got my platinum last year. How many levels have been added since? Might have to reinstall to do all the extra levels

I’m gutted I’m currently renovating our new house so I don’t have time to start it and play it the way I would want I’m going to leave it till we’ve moved and settled so probably August for me 😭

After finishing watching the last of us season 2 I got the itch to replay part 2. I’m onto Hillcrest now and my word is this game stunning on my Pro.

I really enjoyed it for what it was, there were a few for me and a lot that weren’t but I’m sure that’s the case for everyone. With all the first party gaas games cancelled was anyone expecting a slew of new first party games? Insomniac have been ruined by their leak and I don’t expect anything from them for a while

I really enjoyed my time with it and it was my first ever platinum. It’s a real shame as the story setting and atmosphere were top tear with a few tweaks the 2nd game could of been amazing like AC to AC2
