Sorry a bit off topic has anyone had a problem with their PS5’s randomly switching on since the last update? I don’t have the HDMI link on and it hasn’t happened before the update

Weather is too nice so might only sneak an hour on it takes two, we’ve just done something awful to a toy elephant 😱

@get2sammyb I can never understand why anyone would pay monthly for ps plus. I get my subs from the days of play sale every year, you can usually bag a year for £30 from shopto. I’m interested to see if they’ll offer a way to upgrade your subscription seeing as I’m subbed till 2027

So is standard PS plus going to be a lot more expensive now. On the uk store it’s £49.99 a year and if you shop around you can get it much cheaper but at $10 a month that says to me it’s going up a lot

Played last night for an hour and I’m absolutely terrible at it now. Can’t believe I used to play from biome 1-6 beating all the bosses for fun, I’m getting smashed on biome 1 now must be old age 😢

@ThorsHammer it’s honestly one of my favourite ever games. Already finished it on ps5 and will probably replay it yearly as it’s so much fun in co-op.

Replaying it takes two on PS4 with my son for my 100th platinum. Taking our time so will probably take us all week

Got to tackle my backlog before I start Elden Ring so Deaths Door for me and I’m really enjoying it.Decided to try a full platinum run so I’m only using the umbrella, just beat the pot witch this morning

Rolled very long credits and bagged the platinum last night

Still playing horizon taking my time. Been upgrading my legendary gear and farming for shards. Keep forgetting to use my skill points I’ve got 70 this morning

Too much to play in the coming months so this can wait. I’ll wait till digital foundry get their hands on it

Not a fan of this, why do we need a permanent tile for something we might use once a month. I would never use it as I redeem my ps plus games on the app

@iamtylerdurden1 yeah I’m planning on replaying the frozen wilds before forbidden west comes out just to get used to the controls again. I loved lost legacy when I played it and is up there with the best uncharted for me

Finished my uncharted 4 on ps5 playthrough to get my legacy of thieves platinum. Decided to give shadow of the tomb raider another go and maybe go for platinum seeing as it plays at 60fps now

@get2sammyb only downside is you can’t pre install the PS5 version if you order the PS4 digitally

Deaths door snagged. Does anyone know if it’s got separate platinums for the PS4 PS5 versions? Kraken is fantastic it’s like 900Mb on PS5 and 3.8GB on PS4

@KingPev yeah I really loved it, I’ll be popping back to it now and then as I’ve still got mysteries to solve

@MatthewJP yeah it took me about 10 attempts the trick is keep her in the cockpit get a headshot first then keep firing at her feet, use trinkets big box hailfire and speed loader

@MatthewJP which ones are you missing as a few were buggy for me too

Just got my Deathloop platinum last night, really glad I decided to give it a go. I’m either going to play a short hike start uncharted 4 or play the frozen wilds ready for forbidden west

Finally got around to Deathloop and I’m loving it

Finally tackling my backlog and playing Doom Eternal. Loving it so far glad I waited for the PS5 version

@dschons @hobbes242 yeah I think it will cost the same as a disc ps5 £450 but will that include the controllers or will they sell separately? I can see them costing an extra £100

The Samsung 980pro 2TB is £239 not £323.
I’m currently using that with the qivynsry heatsink, do not use the rubber band heatsink as they are rubbish

I’ve got the platinum and really enjoyed it but it’s not game of the year for me.

How is the trophy list on deaths door? Is it a long grind to get the platinum?

It’s still sitting in my backlog hopefully get round to playing it next year

I’m replaying it now on PS5 going for my 90th platinum

@rjejr there’s some really difficult platforming elements and I believe you need to be a capable gamer to play this game. It’s not a game for first timers as you are relying on your co-op partner quite a lot

@somnambulance unfortunately you won’t get nearly as much enjoyment playing with randoms you really need to play with a friend. Remember if you own it any friend can join your game via the free friends pass version of the game

Amazing game, me and my son’s game of the year. Very funny and it’s got some my most memorable gaming moments of this year.

Ah man I completely forgot it was my PS5’s first birthday yesterday and didn’t play on it at all 😔 I did buy it Demon’s Souls and Alan Wake Remastered in the sales 😃

I’m looking forward to this, fingers crossed for a great trophy list too
