Astro Bot has had a string of great (and free) DLC, and that trend is set to continue.
Team Asobi has announced five more challenge levels are coming to the game, free of charge, on 10th July 2025.
The new stages will join the others in the Vicious Void galaxy, and will bring the game's total number of stages to over 90.
On PS Blog, director Nicolas Doucet also teases some sort of surprise if you complete every Vicious Void level.
Along with these new stages will be new Special Bots to rescue. These are being kept under wraps as well, though one was revealed to be Ghost of Yotei's Atsu.
So, the fun isn't over yet, and we can't wait to dive back in for some more tough levels and fun surprises. Are you excited for yet more Astro Bot? Tell us in the comments section below.

More Astro Bot is good for everyone. Also the Atsu bot is adorable. Atsu is going to be a huge face for Playstation once Yotei comes out in October.
When I first saw the Team Asobi Logo, apart of me thought it was going to be AstroBot 2 (coping I know), But the amount of free content they have given is crazy!
As soon as I heard those first few seconds of music, I knew this was coming. No problem though, I genuinely get more excited for anything new with Astro Bot, than most game announcements.
@Oram77 The only issue I have with Team Asobi is that their new game can't come soon enough.
Astrobot and Team Asobi can do no wrong in my eyes.
They have been one of the standout examples of what makes gaming great and have injected some much needed joy into gaming this generation.
The free ‘demo’ (full game imho) was many people’s first experience of Astro. Then they blew us all away with their GotY game, and they just keep giving us stuff for free.
Others (Nintendo) could really learn from them.
I’ll take more Astro. Love that little guy!
My lord and savior Astro Bot has returned!
Still haven't played the game yet, waiting for them to announce it's done or a decent sale.
Have they only been adding challenge levels? I'm not really a challenge kind of guy. How challenging have they been? Like 2 or 3 attempts or set aside 3 hours to get through a 3 minute level?
Any additional Astro is very welcome, particularly free, but I really wish they would add 'normal' levels instead of the time trial levels.
this was easily one of my favourite highlights of the state of play Team Asobi are absolutely incredible
@Rich33 This 100%.. never liked timed trials and having to rush.. I’d gladly buy DLC if they’d make some more real levels
Love Asobi for doing this, they're truly great people
@WolfyTn
A DLC pack with a whole new set of worlds sounds like a good idea to me!
More Astro, more Astro is good!😀
@WolfyTn yip, more copy and paste trials, such a shame really 😕
Astrobot is great, but I am so done with these Challenge levels.
Astrobot truly is the gift that keeps on giving. Don't think I'll ever get to a point where I wouldn't welcome more of it!
@Kienda Nintendo will not learn anything from Astro Bot / Team Asobi because they can sell everything at high price and their rabbit fans gonna eat up without thinking.
I know I shouldn't complain about free content updates but I wish they would do dlc that was just a bunch of new normal levels. I love this game but all the challenge/time trail stuff just isn't my vibe
I am loving these but really craving more explorative, “standard” levels! Hopefully we get some to round out the planets number to 100
