@JevVoi Hey dude, just wanted to let you know as a more involved FGC member, that playing modern controls online is awesome! While I may not use it, it's better to be playing online with a control type you like and can use versus not being able to play at all. And don't worry about people getting mad at you, they're probably just mad that you're actually a better player than them because you can finally play now. Most of the fgc welcomes all people no matter how they play so I hope consider staying around!
@TheCollector316 Capcom doesn't exactly do that anymore. The game is already content rich, and any other future versions are just gonna be versions that have all current dlc included. Capcom knows it doesn't make sense to separate players and loss some because of a new release of the same game on modern systems
@Shepherd_Tallon Not a new person to fighting games personally, but there are so many things in the game that will be able to help you play if you aren't used to most traditional fighters. It has modern mode with simplified specials but still has lots of depth, a huge single player mode where you make your own character and explore an open world, and tons of great teaching tool and fun side modes that will allow to learn lots of in-depth stuff or even just have some goofy casual fun!
Rashid looks super good in game. Really excited for him to drop in August since he probably is dropping around EVO. Also think these little mini battle passes are better than what most game have because of how in the background they are and not super intrusive imo
While I know Team Asobi basically acts as Sony's new console tech demo/showpiece game for each of their new systems, I'm more interested in what they have cooking up next compared to all of Sony's other studios because I know they're making is gonna be unique in a way that makes it more appealing than most of Sony's current first party offerings for me personally
Yeah I can't say this wasn't expected. I fell in love with Crash after being able to sink my teeth into CTRNF and Crash 4, but I wasn't excited at all for this one. It looks like a bit of fun, but I highly doubt unless they can add a whole lot of content like game modes, maps, and characters to the game that the game will be able to last for long, both in wants to play it and the games' total lifespan
This is why I think more companies should see value in having smaller projects that they can get out much more easily have less of a budget on, but allow much more freedom for the devs to create a new and unique experience. I think it only helps to diversify a console's lineup and allows companies to have even more games come out
I still haven't even played the main Yakuza games yet so probably wouldn't even pick this up right away even. Still sucks that this is starting to happen to big games that could and should go physical, but they just won't do it. It will be super sad if this happens again but with a new Judgement
Easy 10/10. Probably the best fighter not just of the modern age, but will probably end up being the best fighter of all time. The style, the gameplay, and the amount of content here surpasses even NRS games imo and is close to Smash's amount. Having a fantastic so far and I can't wait to dive in even deeper when I have time
Honestly I was completely expecting P5T to be a tactics game. You don't put a T at the end of a game title in a long running series unless its a tactics title lol
While I have PS Plus Extra because Sony had a flash sale a while back where it was the same price as PS Plus Essential and I've very much had a good time with it, but it's not a replacement for fully purchasing a game. I've found that if there's a game I really really want, I'll just buy it outright. Most games on Extra I've been playing are games that I've been meaning to buy for a while and will most likely buy later, or are random games I wouldn't be buying otherwise and are just giving a try. Games just have an inherent value and time sink that relying on a subscription to play them is just too much for people who aren't able to put that amount of time into games
@Green-Bandit Honestly I would say don't even worry about it. From what I've played you won't lose anything to a modern player compared to classic players. They both have their own strengths and weaknesses. Plus most people I've ran into online and most others from what I've been seeing have been using classic anyways so it really is a non-issue. Waiting for Tekken and MK1 gameplay is all good, but if you are on the fence about SF6, I can easily say that it's worth the pick-up even so early into its life
Super glad that the game is doing so well so far. I hope more people overtime will pick it up and join into the FGC because all of the new modes and accessibility features makes this the best fighter for anyone to pick up, even over MK imo
I'm so glad people are deciding to hop on and try out the game. Capcom did everything right to get new people interested and looks like its paying off so far
Probably for the best that it was delayed. I saw some footage from the PC beta test and I saw some funky shenanigans going on lol. Hope it gets more solid release date soon
This is why I simply don't wanna buy any of these devices like the Steam Deck, even if they are cool, because all the battery lives on them are awful. The Switch and it's much lower power battery simply makes it a much better portable
I haven't played the original games yet, but the gameplay here looked super good. Definitely gonna check it out once I get to the first two Spider-Man games
Glad to see that the originals are going to be coming back as well. Having the remake is nice, but the originals are also super important things to have as well, especially with their bonus content
Thank god that the newer discs can hold over 100 gigs, Switch on the other hand I know is gonna end up being download only on the cart if they don't heavily compress it lol
Nice to see that more really good titles are coming to PS Plus Premium that aren't just modern day remasters. I know people want PS2, but I know that's not gonna happen because Sony already did it years ago. I'm just glad were getting these classic games at all
I still don't have Strive yet, but Asuka and his stage look super killer. I always like it more when new characters are dlc instead of returning characters because I know I'm going to get something new with them. Hopefully the network fixes coming just a few days after will all be over with and everyone can fully play the game again.
Going to be interesting to see what Sony brings here. Hopefully they'll finally give us the full sweep of big and unique PS5 games everyone is looking for
No Straight Roads is my recommendation to play before going away out of everything here. It's a great action platformer with a ton of heart and is a perfect breezy game to finish in a few hours. Almost the definition of a hidden gem
I love all of Enhance's games a lot. Rez Infinite, Lumines, and especially Tetris Effect are audio visual masterpieces and I love experimental titles a lot. It's something you just won't find anywhere else. Will definitely try this day one on PS Plus Extra, and if I love it enough after the main game, it's an easy purchase for me.
20 mill is super impressive! Considering how far down the latter FromSoft started in the 90's, they're practicality as big and important as a Ubisoft, Activision, Sega, Sony, EA, Xbox, and Nintendo
@nomither6 Buddy I don't have infinite money. Obviously I'm not gonna stay on PS4 forever, but the PS4 is still getting lots of games rn, and there's not many true next gen exclusives that make me want to really get a PS5, so I can wait
@Magnus_Selene I think that MM is actually independent from Sony. Their game Knights and Bikes are on a bunch of other consoles so they could do games that aren't Sony exclusives as well
That's good to hear. Granblue is nonexistent on the American mobile front so that and the ability to market their better in the west will probably help increase Granblue's reach
Man I really love Fantavision and I'm glad Sony got to licence it out like Sega has been doing for some of its old IP's. I hope Sony does more of this because I think it could really help to improve the output of their first-party line-up on PS5 since it has a big problem with many games being built from a similar mold and coming out in such large intervals between each other
@Feena Definitely. I basically got PS Plus just to get the original when it was available so definitely no point in buying dlc when I could just buy the whole next game with them included
I've really been starting to get into Granblue. Versus recently so this is cool to see! I don't have any dlc characters so I might just be trying out dlc characters I haven't played as yet
I mean, I don't always need a big open world for every single triple a game. A game that's fun at its core will be good no matter if older consoles hold it back or not, unless those lower versions don't play well at all, which in that case doesn't even make sense to release at all in my opinion
Seems like quite the good selection! Definitely feels like a very me line up of games and all of them I've been wanting to play for a while now or seem pretty neat
I can definitely see why people are mad, but they did say the game can be played offline after the server shut down and that all earned cosmetics and stuff will transfer over to the full release, so it's not technically fully wasted money
I mean, I definitely would of liked to have the Master System versions of all of the games, but Sonic 1 and Chaos are pretty well optimized for Game Gear, Mean Bean Machine doesn't increase the actual playfield, Sonic Blast is Sonic Blast, and while Sonic 2 is hindered, it's not impossible to play. I'm just glad these are now actually available on modern consoles, plus the fact that Amy is the main show, and you get the other DLC included, I can't really complain at all
