We finally made it, everyone. Marvel's Spider-Man 2, announced about two years ago, has shown its face once again at last, and this time, we got much more than just a teaser. Above is the proper debut trailer for this highly anticipated sequel, and as expected, it's looking excellent.

The game's darker tone is very apparent as we're introduced to Kraven the Hunter, who looks like he'll be the main antagonistic force in the game. We also see Peter Parker donning the black suit, as it looks as though he'll be dealing with the Venom symbiote.

The trailer then goes on to show how we'll be swapping between Peter and Miles Morales, who also has a few new tricks — like the ability to glide, for instance. A third villain also makes their appearance — The Lizard — so it'll be another story with multiple threats pulling at the heroes.

It all looks sensational too — Insomniac is really flexing its muscles here. Unfortunately, we still don't know exactly when the game is coming, with Sony sticking to a Fall 2023 release window for now. Presumably we'll get another presentation focusing on Spidey 2 in the near future, where more details will spill.
