Bandai Namco has spilled loads of details on the upcoming Closed Beta Test for Tekken 8. If you happened to be a part of the previous Closed Network Test, then you'll be especially interested in knowing that sweeping gameplay adjustments have been implemented.
This includes rather significant tweaks to how the new Heat system works, power crush moves, and overall character balance. Even dashes and back dashes have been made "easier" to perform. It honestly all sounds quite drastic, but we suppose the game is in a near constant state of change right now, ahead of its January release date. You can find the full list of changes here, on Bandai Namco's official site.
What's more, three additional characters will be playable in October's beta. The recently revealed Raven, Azucena, and Feng Wei will be joining the roster, which brings it to an impressive 19 fighters. Peruvian stage 'Ortiz Farm' will also be added.
And then on top of all this, the developer has confirmed — via its live presentation at Tokyo Game Show — that Panda will return in the full release of Tekken 8. We imagine a trailer will be coming very soon.
