Man, this is really not a me month. Not crazy excited over Harry Potter (Witch Hat Atelier is just that but better you should read it), not a sports fan, and Little Nightmares 2 is cool, but I'm not as enthusiastic to play it rn when I haven't played the first yet, so kinda weak for me overall
@Mortal Yes, Sammy did. They announced this in June, and now we have the release date for this and another collection. Capcom can't stop with the crazy collections
Damn depending on how big the book is, that's one hell of a bonus. Most pre-orders give you little trinkets while Rain Code just says "Here's an entire damn novel, have fun reading buddy."
Of course the business is gonna be volatile if you over spend money on companies you know you can't fully support at the scale they're at. You're the one that made it volatile in the first place, Wingefors
Some of the picks here are honestly really cool (like I never would of expected something like Spelunky or Exodus). Honestly Mega Man being one of the episodes sounds the most exciting to me because I feel like of they going to be very story based, I'm wondering what they're gonna do with it in terms of fleshing out the world of Mega Man, because Mega Man's world and characters are really cool, I just think it doesn't get the chance to fully shine sometimes
@dskatter Yeah you couldn't add content after release in the 90's and 2000's, but they weren't really content complete either, were they? Like every SF game. Would you say that SF2, 3, and 4 were complete with their original versions? My guess would be no, if you consider Super Turbo, Third Strike, and Ultra the only way you should play said games today. They just had to make you buy another game to get the new content, and if you are wanting to have it be content complete, then I'm going to assume you didn't buy a copy of these games until those final original versions. Of course I would love if these games were content complete too, I love it when these fighters can feel complete, but these games need to get out eventually, and with just the way these games exist, that would be a nightmare for longevity and stability of a game if it still got no updates and stuff
Honestly, I am a little confused with some parts of CotW as a package. First off, it is cool that basically the first year of dlc is getting added for free is cool. Melty Blood Type Lumina added all of their dlc for free for its entire life and that's great, but I'm confused because they say this is a "special edition" of the game, when this is the only version. I just think that it just feels weird that they say it's a season pass, when it's just being included as a main part of the game. The fact it is coming later isn't a problem, because that's just fighters now and anyone complaining about it doesn't know how fighting games actually work, and them being free will definitely help people come back to the game more no matter what people's financial situation is. Not to mention that the base 17 roster is the average size of a new modern fighter so it doesn't feel like the amount of content isn't finished. What I DO have an issue with is the RPG mode REQUIRING at LEAST an internet download it seems. This is literally meant to be a core single player mode, and it NEEDS to be downloaded, if not needs a constant internet connection. This just sucks because this is just like what Netherrealm did with Invasions and Towers of Time in MK1 and 11 respectively. Key modes that require internet for no reason. I just think this is such a bad move, even if they decide to keep evolving the mode overtime. But anyways, the rant is over. Game itself is still looking great, those points just kinda make me feel miffed
@Solingo_Bill I was gonna mention China as well lol. Considering how also China is much more versed in PC gaming since they only just got consoles more readily over there, I bet the Steam numbers are higher than Elden Ring because this is a game by a Chinese company, with a focus on the Chinese market, so I wouldn't be shocked if those numbers are higher because of that alone
@WhiteRabbit I still need to eventually get the Kaito Files. Probably would bw good if I decided to eventually dedicate myself back into the game for another playthrough to do a lot more side-quests than I did
Eh I'm kinda tired of it, only because when said term is used that it means that the gameplay is just going to be almost one to one control and feel wise to FromSoft's titles, which just make them look like they kinda play the same in footage. I just think that devs should try and bring a little variety to it by trying new things in terms of art design and gameplay feel to make it stand-out. Like Another Crab's Treasure is a souls-like and does tons of unique stuff with it in terms of those
Honestly I know MH World saw stupid success on only home consoles, but I think when they consider how great the success of Rise as well and how much further reaching the MH IP is with it being on Switch, and when thinking of wanting to have constant growth for a publicly traded company, asking if MH Wilds is only going to be on non-portable systems honestly isn't a bad question loll
This is a crazy announcement. Considering how impactful guest characters are on player population for fighters, I hope GG flies even higher from this. This pass as a whole seems pretty awesome, but Venom confuses me since I thought he was retired but hey I can't be mad with everyone else on the pass and how awesome team of 3 looks.
This is absolutely insane. I was thinking it was first City of the Wolves' opening cinematic, then Luke and Jamie show up, and then Terry busts in with Mai and then Elena and I'm just on the floor. I'm definitely gonna be playing Terry when he comes out and I'm so excited for these characters. SF just keeps taking W's
Essential is pretty good this month even if I already have a physical copy of Streets of Rage 4 with the DLC, but for everyone else that's easily the highlight here. I've wanted to check out Spongebob The Cosmic Shake for a while now and I've heard AEW is a solid wrestling game so I'm definitely excited to pick up those titles
Honestly Sly Cooper alone is a good start. I Tomb Raider Legend is a good pick as well. Hopefully with Sony doing PS2 games finally their momentum for bigger titles can be more wide-spread across all the retro consoles they have on Premium
I was wondering if this had come out already considering how long its been. I'm mostly focused on Akuma and SF6 rn but I'll be sure to check ut out to try and get some matches in
The Premium titles seem decent this month, but definitely not worth premium itself. And nothing good on Extra it seems like this month. Makes me glad I just decided to go back down to essential
All of the changes here seem very good. I think almost everyone getting some kind of buff O think will help out a lot in making everyone happy in some way, like you aren't only going to get nerfs while everyone else is getting buffs. Very excited for this once Akuma drops along side their costumes. SF6 just never stops doing dubs
You see, this would of been a pretty great month for me, but I am already playing through Tunic on Switch with the physical copy I got and loving it, and I don't yet have a PS5 to play Ghostrunner 2 even though I really want to. I'm not into sports or Destiny so the stuff I don't have or can't play are ones that would be great if not for my circumstances, and everything else is not to my taking.
This would of been a great month if I didn't already have Tunic on Switch physically and if I had a PS5 to play Ghostrunner 2, because I don't play Destiny and I don't play sports games
Clap Hanz is 100% salty at Sony. They wouldn't of made 2 golf games that can run on either of their systems and not put it on Playstation if they didn't feel screwed over after Everybody's Golf on PS4
Man Sony really is just ignoring MediEvil 2 huh. Like yeah its nice to have the original PS1 version available, but when we have both the PS4 remake and Resurrection from the PSP, we are hurting more to have MediEvil 2 than the original again
Slayer is cool but I never fully was able to jive with him in game so I hope he's cool. A.B.A. I'm so much more excited for because A.B.A. is my main in XX and is one of my fav characters in GG. She's just such a cool and unique character that I've always enjoyed
Man a lot of really great titles here that the service is losing this time around. SoulCalibur 6, R-Type Final 2, and Gunvolt Chronicles are all fantastic games people should try out, but almost everything here is quality and fun
I'm really interested in checking out this game. Just seems like a really neat and in-depth game where you wouldn't expect it like Rain World. And of course I can never say no to whatever Dunkey says is good enough that he's publishing it
This is the one remaster I'm ok with solely because it's something that isn't one of Sony's usual generic line-up of titles. Gravity Rush actually getting a proper chance to find an audience would fantastic. Hopefully it would convince Sony to actually make more unique games for once this generation
Nice to see the wait is finally over for those who have been waiting, because I know this will definitely cause player counts to spike up again. I play it on Switch so I'm not so lucky but I bet most console players are on PS4/5 so I bet that it will get another good shot in the arm
I tried out the game this weekend because my brother paid me to get PS Plus and I was super surprised how fun it was! I hope the game has a good future! It offers a more team death match style take on Splatoon's formula I'm really digging!
Everyone please play NEO:TWEWY it's an absolute fantastic game that's filled with such heart and its such an underrated game that deserve more people to try it out.
Xbox fans begging for Playstation exclusives just shows that even "hardcore Xbox fans" won't even play Xbox's exclusives, even when they're great games
Awesome to see its doing well so far. I felt like I haven't heard people talk about it as much but I guess it shows a lot of people have been very excited for the game. Hopefully Versus Rising can reach these numbers eventually too. Both deserve this kind of success considering how quality they both are
I hate to tell Kojima, but this already happened to me just a few years ago. When I was first playing through Judgement and one time when I was playing my mom asked me what show I was watching during a cutscene
I'm kinda on the edge for I feel about this, and I don't even have a modern Xbox lol. I think that many of Xbox's exclusives are really cool, but aren't really enough for me to pick one up fully. They don't really have anything that fully sells the system, plus with how solely online depended the Xbox interface is I've just always stuck to PS and Nintendo. I think it can really depend on what games Xbox brings over that might signal bad signs for their future with how the console gaming industry goes. If other systems largely get just the smaller series like they've already done with Ori and are almost definitely going to be doing with Hi-Fi Rush, or with their more active online titles like Sea of Thieves's rumors or maybe Microsoft bringing KI 2013 over would make since as those increase online player bases, but their big heavy hitter titles that are meant to be single player adventures that sell a console, it could be bad if Microsoft just ends hardware all together, and then Sony is the only major player in the high-end dedicated console market and they might try and get away with really bad things. We'll have to wait and see in the future
Cool little collectors edition for an annual sports game, but feels weird that a collectors edition with physical goodies doesn't have a physical copy included
Ah yes, only the most attractive body for the main character they can market for us boys because "Ooooooo boobies" and nothing much else, at least it seems in my eyes considering Shift Up and their gatcha game NIKKE
God why is Sony these stupid as hell remakes. Like I know Drake's Fortune is now basically a decade and a half old now but oh my god Sony you released all 3 titles on PS4 and made them play like they haven't aged a day. They could be literally doing any other game that could use a remake more, hell even from the PS3 that could use another chance and be refined but no, they gotta remake Drake's Fortune because Sony need to have all of the casual gamers play a new version of a game that's already great and modern looking for a full $70 of wasted effort when they could just try and market the Nathan Drake collection to them by maybe just upgrading the game to have a new native PS5 version
Honestly if they had the PC version ready, they really should of just released it. I think a PC version could of really given Dreams a shot in the arm, since a lot of people maybe wanting to try out game creation, already have a PC

Man this is a huge batch of super great games being removed. Lost Judgement is easily my recommendation here. Just as amazing as the original game

Not a bad month honestly. Ender Lilies is definitely the main highlight for me. Heard people say it's super good so excited to check it out
