The white threads that Scarlett Johansson is sporting in Marvel Studios’ Black Widow are now available in Marvel’s Avengers – for a small fortune, of course. The white jumpsuit will cost you 1,400 Credits, which works out at about $14 – an extortionate sum for a single cosmetic. It does look pretty good, although her hairstyle doesn’t match the film.
Crystal Dynamics is also rolling out a series of animated, volcanic threads which give characters a “molten” look. These will also set you back 1,400 Credits a pop, and are all available within the title’s in-game Marketplace now.

25% of the cost of the game for one skin... 🤦🏻♂️
Wow... now all 7 people who still play this game can buy this.
I got this game for like $5 on eBay, do they really expect me to pay $14 on a costume based on a movie that I'm not as hyped for anymore after waiting like two years for it?
@PhenomenalOne it is $25 at Target... 60% 🤷♂️
I paid $20 for the entire game. Actually really enjoyed the story and expansions but always jump once I finish. The marketplace is pure thievery.
If only they just focused on the single player story how things may have been different for this game...
Okay can anyone tell me... how a fighting game like FighterZ that offers new characters with new unique movesets, voice lines, sometimes even with dramatic finishers costs 5$ and somehow this piece of cosmetic in a 60$ game is $14? Let me repeat, a $60 dollar game with a cosmetic that costs $14.
But she’s got a new hat!
Awesome! Now if they give her ScarJo’s likeness and voice the game will still be dead!
Just saw the movie. Very good. No reason it couldn't have been made four years ago.
Also this game or something.
I could get the PS5 version for like $30 on ebay so about half the cost for a crappy skin that will fix 0% of the things wrong with the game 🤦
@B_Lindz @NorrinRadd again and again with people asserting that no one is playing it while the stats show it's one of the most played game on ps4.
But facts stand no chance against blind hatred.
As for the costume, simply ridiculous to charge that much.
@Nepp67 That marvel licensing fee.
Oh Crystal Dynamics. How the mighty have fallen
When a virtual outfit costs more than a real life outfit you know the world is doomed!
@naruball I imagine those comments are derived from all the articles about steam where the player count was down under 500.

The cosmetics are so expensive because the expansions are free. Not saying it's okay in the slightest, but that's definitely one of the reasons they're charging so much.
She doesn’t really need to run from her past with that nifty Bionic Commando-esque grapple she’s packing. She can just swing away, like a svelte Nathan “Rad” Spencer.
Also, that’s a nifty looking suit. I will admire it while picking up whatever free trinket is available in the marketplace.
I've been maining Widow for a few weeks so i caved and hot this as it looks really good on her.
@WallyWest Yeah, the white is nice but I don’t think I’ll be splurging on it. She is a really fun character to play though, the way she zips between enemies. I think she’s my second favorite behind Kamala.
Her White Widow form has the ability to sit on the couch, binge Seinfeld, and eat Doritos.
@get2sammyb Monster Hunter World was the same but still no where near these prices. I believe if you drop these skins with some emoties at €5 you are going to make way more money.
The reason i bought some stuff with MHW was because it had a decent price and they where cool still love my DMC costume.
@get2sammyb The expansions are also bare bones and not even worth the price of the skins. Avengers charges F2P prices for its skins and those skins can also be bugged or missing features. Finally 4 months ago CD took away nearly all of the skins you can unlock in game for a "rework" what has never came and something never they talk about, as many are thinking its clearly them trying to force people into spending £12 on a single skin.
@Flaming_Kaiser MHW for free gave you a Geralt skin from TW3 complete with his voice actor and the also gave you his sword as well a Ciri skin from the TW3.
@FatalBubbles @Cherip-the-Ripper
those people could instead focus on psnow numbers instead of Steam, but it doesn't fit their narrative

@WizzNL exactly. I've spent zero on costumes and don't need to to enjoy the game. The costumes are just used as ammunition by people who already decided that they hate the game without even having played it.
@naruball Thanks! This is the first I’ve seen PS numbers so that’s pretty interesting. I would have gotten a month to play it if it wasn’t the old PS4 version.
I think the game will eventually go free to play so I’m holding out for that as I’m only interested in the story part.
Saw the trailer for the film last night. Looked abysmal!
