Disgaea Mayhem, the hack and slash Disgaea spin-off that was confirmed for a western release a couple of months back, now has a proper launch date.
It's bringing its especially mental brand of action to PS5 on the 23rd July, adding to what is quickly becoming a busy month for the console.
It arrives just a couple of weeks after fellow action RPGs Granblue Fantasy: Relink - Endless Ragnarok (9th July) and Echoes of Aincrad: Sword Art Online (10th July). That's a lot of sword-swinging combat to get through.

Although as Disgaea Mayhem's new trailer demonstrates, you don't have to wield a blade. Main character N.A. can equip seven different types of weapon, each boasting their own moves and abilities.
And, in classic Disgaea fashion, you're free to upgrade these weapons to an insane extent, via trips to the all-important Item World.
