Crimson desert is my top choice, however I read recently about the over complication of buttons and it has me a bit worried.
"The most maddening example, though, comes when Kliff has to pick up something heavy. This left me in disbelief, not once but twice. The first time was at the start of the demo, where I had the seemingly simple task of picking up a large standard that flew the flag of the Greymanes, moving it a few feet, and inserting it into a metal base to claim an outpost for the clan. This required me to press both thumbsticks in to activate Kliff's super strength power, aim at the flag and press X and Square together to select it, rapidly press X to raise it from the floor, press Triangle to secure it above my head, walk to the base, hold L1 to aim at it, then press R1 to place it. All this to pick up and plant a flag"
Loving the game so far. I was a bit worried about the parry difficulty, but even on normal it just takes a bit of practice per mob. I'm nearing end of act 1 I believe. We will see how I'm liking after I finish.
Quite the big difference on prices for Space Marine 2 US vs UK. Must sell better state side. Nothing of interest I dont already own. Ill see if PS store has anything better.
Having a blast. I had one crash, but that's it. 25 hours in. Taking my time, enjoying the music. Not sure where I left my horse so running everywhere. I am discovering so much more because of it. I'm happy with or without a patch.
I have enjoyed them all to some extent. My favorite has been Tiny Tinas Wonderland. Anything D&D related has a special place in my heart and the humor related to it was fantastic. There were many Nostalgic quests. The smurf quest was fantastic. This new one looks fun. Probably not a day one buy, but definitely on a sale pick up for me.
I am enjoying it quite a bit. Not far in. Out of the sewers and swam across the lake into a dungeon. Saw i was ready to lvl up, but wasn't. Found out you need to sleep to do so. Interesting way to do it. I'm trying not to look up much, just be surprised what's around each corner.
Can't wait to jump in for a fifth time or is it sixth? Leaning shadow mage. Will be great making a group of shadow mages and 4 hounds. Sending darkness all around. You can't hit what you can't see.
Still looking forward to it. I enjoyed Black Desert and accepted the jank. This being open world is sure to have issues, but unless it's game breaking i feel it will be great
As long as they keep the make your own spell system ill be happy with just a graphical upgrade. I had so much fun making crazy spells. Yes you become OP, but the creativity is fantastic.
Played the demo for Tainted Grail a few times. Looking forward to it's full release. As this has piqued my interst again in knights of the round table and such, I also bought on sale Hand of Merlin. A bit tough to begin with, but getting stronger in this roguelike.
Still too steep a price for so few games. At that price I'd buy Meta Rayban glasses. I'd use those way more often and possible also get as much entertainment value out of them.
This is still my favorite game on ps5. I loved everything about it. Yes the beginning was hard, not nearly as hard as the third biome, but like most rogue lites getting that perfect run is amazing my favorite moment ever in a game is a climb up to the organ piper. The music/sound was superb. I loved it so much I contacted Housemarque to thank them. I've never done that before. I'm super excited for Saros.
@HappyGamerGirl @reddevilcat Red HappyGamer is right. You can save and exit an any point in the game from the main menu. Yes the schnapps is still thr , but is a non issue as the save and exit is ALWAYS available. It also saves everytime you sleep in an owned bed. Hope that helps clarify.
Only about 5 hours in. Luckily downloaded it right before the psn issues. It is quite impressive. I'm terrible at Combat, but know once I learn a few techniques and a little practice it won't be as bad. It's already better than the first. Still not sure how I'll be role-playing Henry. Speech is my forte so far. Leaning charismatic rogue.
Nice! I'll pick up both. Was a fan of age of empire back in the day. That along with Command and Conquer red alert and the civ games had me going just one more turn often long into the night.
@Steeleye50 @Tomato_Goose thank you both your replies. I appreciate it. I am definitely leaning Astrobot now. I will probably pick it up in the next day or so.
As I look at my wishlist and the discounts, nothing is a must buy, but a few are maybes. Anyone recommend one of these 4 (My doubts in parentheses): Atomic Hearts(heard story is blah, fighting gets repetative), Outcast:new beginning(very janky, not much variety), House Flipper 2( not huge on simgames, possibly short), Astrobot(platformers not a fav. Genre). With money burning a hole in my wallet and no new games that I want to buy at full price for awhile, anyone of these games seem fun, just not amazing. Recommendations?
Fantastic. I was looking forward to deep oceans, building a secret base down deep. Also the water effects from close flying ships. Amazing. Hopefully the update downloads soon
Looks very very rough, even if most of the trailer is cgi. Straight to ps essential maybe reason to put out an official trailer on Playstation channel.
@Yakito1988 ahh ok. Its the system more than the setting you didn't like. I do enjoy D&D, but can see it's not for everyone. Deadlands is a very fun system. I think the simplicity of d20 allows for an easier entrance to tabletop hence more chances to convince your reluctant friend to join. I think Pathfinder has done it the best so far.
@Yakito1988 you obviously havnt played with a good DM then or read RA Salvatore 😃. There is hope for you though if you play tabletop. New edition is in Grey Hawk, no longer forgotten realms.
Looks good so far. Almost carbon copy music of Mass effect at the beginning, works for me. My only complaint, from a alpha trailer that is, was the MCs eyes. They seemed off or maybe too glossy? I'm sure I'd get used to it.
It's too bad. I enjoyed Tina Tina quite a bit. While it didn't jump too far from BG3 style, it did have a few unique twists. It also had a few chuckling D&D references.
