How about second poll question. How many of these games did you play? 0, 1, 3, 5, all. I picked hogwarts as that is all I played.

Adding to my buy later list. Still only 2/3 through Hogwarts.

Remasters are great, but I prefer new IPs, unless it is KOTOR. The more games the better.

Will pick up eventually. Finishing hogwarts, may find a game on extra and buy this or atomic heart on sale whichever I see first. That should hold me until Baulders Gate 3 in August.

I'm just glad the game is coming to ps5. Super excited. I also think it's great eventually Xbox will have it. The more games that can be multi platform the better for all gamers. Many gamers only have one system. Let us all have fun.

@Jtheripper they made some good improvements yes. They improved on just about everything. I would say though if you didn't like DOS, its not that different that you may not like DOS 2.

@kyleforrester87 I do think having the early access for quite some time on pc amounts to about the same time frame for console release vs when Divinity 1 and 2 came out for console. That is my hope anyways. As long as the bugs are not Bugbear big, I'll be fine with it.

I'm very excited for this game. Divinity original sin 2 is among my top favorite games of all time. Put that in a Forgotten Realms world, amazing!

Is cheating that rampant on console? I always thought it was more a PC issue. I don't play many MP FPS though. Closest for me is Star Wars Battlefront 2. Occasionally it seems that someone is an amazing shot, but not enough to bother me.

@JbumiSandra I used to be the same way with card based games, then Slay the Spire came out and it was one my most played games LY. For me it now just depends on the execution when using card based systems.
This game does show promise. Will be watching.

Not quite a guide question, however I'm wondering which graphics setting to use? I'm leaning performance based on 60hz, but might try blanced and see if vrr works on my tv. Any suggestions?

Exactly what I was looking for. I have been hesitant to buy this as the battles look fun, but I may get bored with the tasking/school side of it. This will hopefully show me enough to decide.

@SerJosh97 lol glad you love it. You missed my point. I don't like level scaling as it wrecks rpg emersion for me. My example was eso. I do like the game. I'm just sad they level scaled most things. Should a rat be able to go toe to toe with someone who beat a dragon? I get the idea that it does make every area playable, just not for me.

@thefourfoldroot1 I agree on the level scaling ruining rpgs. Case in point for me was ESO. I played it about 6 months after release then quit for awhile came back a couple years later and nearly died from a creature just outside the city walls. Why would something that only scavenges near towns level equal to me, a dungeon seeking, world traveling adventurer. Hopefully this isn't the case for Hogwarts.

Tried for a couple hours and already got too repetitive for me. It's unfortunate as I am a marvel comic fan.

Sound is very good. will probably buy day one if decent reviews. On the verge of pre-ordering, mostly for the extra quest. I rarely do pre-orders, but I dont see any cyberpunk like issues setting off my radar.

@ShadowofSparta azata sounds fun. Currently on the angel path myself. Very slowly. Need to jump back in and this dlc announcement just did the trick.

I will pick this dlc up just have to at least finish a play through first.

Will pick up deaths door, maybe kena. I highly recommend dragons dogma for those who still haven't tried it. At that price its a must buy for any even remotely interested.

@theheadofabroom interesting. I don't know how I missed it all this time, especially since I enjoy simulation games. I remember playing the original Sim city at a friend's long ago and realizing he had left the room and was playing outside for over and hour while I played on his cpu lol

Most likely will be my second buy this year after hogwarts. However if the reviews are soso then I'll go with Wo long or vice-versa.

@AK4tywill I have to get back to finishing Death stranding. Only about 20 hours in then jumped to something else for awhile. Loved the sound track. Sad to hear of Low Roars lead vocalist passing.

The most surprising for me was Slay the Spire. I didn't realize how much I liked deck building games. It gives me hope for Midnight Sun's when it goes on a 35%to 50% sale.

Super excited for this. Nioh 2 was my second favorite souls game only being topped by elden ring. This boss fight looks intense.

Hopefully still in the works and not gone the way of Beyond Good & Evil

@whitejessegpfc I enjoyed Returnal. I wouldn't say that made it easier adding coop just another way to take on the game. I am very bad at hard games so much so that for souls games I usually have to way over lvl my stats to beat many areas. Returnal I feel rewards greed to a point and like most rogue likes you just need those good drops to happen once to beat a level.

I'm excited for those who haven't played Fallen Order. As a big Stars Wars nerd, that game hit the sweet spot at least until the remake of KOTOR comes out.
Fallout 76 will be my first download and see how close to fallout 4 it is. I did like the building mechanics. Lots and lots of turrets in my future.

Interested, however I'm not sure about the ui choice. It looks like a constant screen tear. I think I would get used to it, but initially it is jarring.

Great list. Almost the same as mine. I wouldswap last of us for Pathfinder WOTR.

Elden Ring not even on the list. Took some guts to leave that great game off the board. Might have to jump in on these trails series on the cheap.

Bannerlords has been on my radar. This pushed it to a purchase, just not yet as I have to finish too many games atm.

I really like the art style. I don't think ill get the game, as Im not much of jrpg fan anymore, but I may watch some videos of people playing it for a bit.
