10 New PS Plus Extra, Premium Games Announced for July 2025

What a great month! Excited to finally check out Banishers.

Very jealous of anyone getting to play through Cyberpunk 2077 for the first time. Such a great game.

I’ll be playing the Twisted Metal games again. It’s been a long time since I played either of them.

Banishers is the one I am most excited about here!

In a twist I didn't foresee, an excellent month of games. Cyberpunk has become an amazing game, and I'm interested in Banishers, Twisted metals, Tropico 6, Risk of rain 2,.. yeah, good list:)

Already own the two best games here, Cyberpunk and Banishers, and highly recommend both. I am looking forward to New World: Aeternum, which got kind of a lukewarm reception so I never bought but I’ll happily take the chance to try it out.

Best month of the year by a mile after a few months of dross.

Weirdly, the headline title, cyberpunk is the only game I have zero interest in playing. Banishers, planet zoo and risk of rain 2 will all be downloaded day 1.

Tropico and new world are backburner games that i might get around to trying at some point and Abiotic factor will be dependent on how manageable it is solo. Very happy with that selection.

Planet zoo and tropico 6. At least the wench will be happy for once . Bluey for my daughter! And anyone yet to play Cyberpunk enjoy. It’s absolutely brilliant. Great month

Planet Zoo and Tropico 6 are big wins! Risk of Rain 2 is also one of the best roguelikes of all time, the base game anyway. A good month, even if I already own Cyberpunk.

Anyone who's not played cyberpunk it's an amazing game now and the dlc is amazing as well

Excited for Banishers! That games been on my future games to play list since it released. Glad my large backlog can help me out by forcing me to wait to play it until it’s released on PS Plus.

Hello Night Bluey!!

Cyberpunk would have been a must check, had I not just grabbed it for NS2; it can still make the whole month by itself otherwise. Other stuff is neat but either also boasting a hybrid port or limited to PS5 on the home console front... but I've already poked around the first two Twisted Metal games on the service prior, so I might just dip my toes into the next two as well.

Damn.

Have Cyberpunk and RoR2 but those are both huge gets imo for my interests.

I also had Banishers and New World on my buy list. So I am eating WELL this month. Damn.

Nearly bought Cyberpunk multiple times, so a genuinely good month for me just for that. But now I’ll have to play and finish it before it leaves. I give it until December /Christmas.

Is 2077 today 9th July because it's not on oh crap I'm on the lowest tier so it's not available for me

Been waiting to run abiotic with my friend group for so long! I have it on PC but none of my other friends have a PC, so now we can get it started. Game is AMAZING!

Obviously they'd add CP2077 the moment I buy the Ultimate Edition during Prime Day!

I have been wanting to play Banishers though, so there's that!

I have Cyberpunk on Switch 2 so won't be getting this version but it's still nice to see it on PS Plus, definitely recommend it to any subscriber who had been on the fence. Eventhough they're not the best Twisted Metal games, I am going to revisit 3 and 4 as they were decent enough. Also hyped that the show is returning soon.

Hoping the twisted metal 4 platinum isn't too bad. Used to play 4 on PS1 all the time.

For anyone on the fence about BANISHERS: Ghosts Of New Eden, it’s a really good game and worth playing if you’re into action / adventure games. Tells a pretty solid story and has some fun mechanics to it. Definitely recommended 👍🏽 I enjoyed it far more than I thought I would.

Not a bad month tbh. Looking forward to finally playing Banishers:ghost of New Eden. I remember the reviews being mixed but that it's generally a decent game with a good story. And now they've fixed it, Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the best RPGs in recent memory

Premium is just not worth it as I thought we were getting resident evil 2 and 3

Was excited about Cyberpunk until I found out it doesn't have gyro aim on PS5 so I'll check that out at some later point, likely on the Switch 2 when I get one. Nice to see it get added on PS Plus though.

Where are the Resi games? I was hoping they would be in here in July because now I have to hope for August as it was slated summer after all 😭 my issue is if Capcom do the dumb thing of making them only available on the premium tier and unavailable to buy until everyone shouts at them for a month.

Phenomenal month (for me at least,) anyone know when Banishers drops? Think I’ll pick up liberty city on sale too and finally play CP.

Anyone who claims this month isn’t a good month (and experience tells me there will be plenty of them) needs taking to the vet for a check up

I have the games here I am interested in, but Planet Zoo and Bluey might be fun to load up for my son

Banishers is pretty excellent if you're looking for a game kind of in new God of War vein. I dig the central relationship a lot.

I'm really into VR lately (on PC), and for my 2nd playthrough of Cyberpunk I'm going the (modded) VR route. Hopefully my GPU won't melt.

Good month, wasn't a fan of Cyberpunk but New World is ok for an MMORPG. Will give Banishers a go (never heard of it) but Anibiotic Factory is my most anticipated. I've been turning my PS on every day wondering if it was out yet. Could just look but i'm not the googling type.

Premium should just be a catalogue of the greatest ps classics we have. Not a fumble, every single month.

They shouldn't treat premium like a ps plus game give away.

It should just be there and then add more as and when. Everyone month just disappointment. Apart from the odd one.

Nit even the major classics are even on it yet.

does it include the dlc? (cyberpunk)
Edit: just realised it doesn't, so it turns out this isn't very generous, a 4.5 year old game being released in its non complete version.
I understand that the dlc is recent, but you can't expect me to think this is anything special.
