After a long wait for confirmation, developer Saber Interactive has announced that Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 will be getting its horde mode on the 26th June. And to reiterate, this is going to be part of a free update for all players.

Officially titled 'Siege Mode', you'll be able to team up with other players or bots to fight off waves of heretical foes. It'll use the same progression system as the existing co-op missions, so experienced players should be able to dive straight in with their favourite classes.

Saber's going to be dishing out more details on the new mode as we creep closer to launch.
