Guurl, the combat is leagues better compared to the first one. Not every game needs a COD style shooting mechanic -_-

There is some truth in what he said, but at the same time, he's so disconnected from the average consumer view. Doesn't he realize that big AAA companies set unrealistic sales "expectations" and when games don't reach those numbers, they automatically "fail".

@TheFrenchiestFry Your arguments are sound but when it comes to business, nothing is set in stone. With the recent announcements of Days Gone not getting a proper sequel, the whole Last Of US milking, it wouldn't surprise me to see Sony abandoning the exclusive practice.

Oh and Sumo Digital confirmed that there are NO microtransactions! Quite insane considering the starting price is just 30 USD.

It's definitely a super fun game with some drawbacks of course. I think they made a great looter shooter considering their budget was between AA and AAA. Once they sort out the bugs and server issues, I'll be happy to buy it.

@FatalBubbles I think we all have that one bad game that despite all the flaws, we enjoy and defend lol.
As for the flaws, it's a longer list than the patch one xD
Basically it's the A.I, empty and lifeless open world, poor side quests, linear story with no choices etc.

I'm going to sound really mean for saying this, but does anyone care at this point?
It's cool that they are doing bug fixes and stuff, but they simply can't fix the broken core aspects of the game without overhauling the thing from scratch.

Would love to get my hands on A Plague Tale: Innocence, Necromunda Underhive Wars or Othercide.

@XinGViruS It's more like a story adventure type of game. You can move and control the character but without platforming. It's basically a Square Enix version of a Quantic Dream game.

I know I'm in the minority for saying this, but I still can't wrap my head around this "hype" for FromSoft games. I tried going in with an open mind but I simply can't enjoy their clunky, slow, "challenging" combat. If they had a strong narrative story, maybe I could overlook it but nope. The story is literally non existent from a storytelling perspective.
Before I get those "get gud" replies, can someone please explain why people love them so much lol?

Wish we could see a SW game from Spiders, Dontnod or Quantic Dream.

I found it to be quite meh tbh. The reviews were a bit too kind on it, considering the abysmal loading screens and a boring story.
Greedfall trumps this game, all the while having a lower budget and I think that says something.

@F17 If you've been following the news, they actually released blog posts that go into detail about skill trees, new loot system etc.
It just looks so promising, and I'll be devastated if they decide to pull the plug

I'm probably the only one who truly wants Anthem 2.0 lol. It has so much potential, so it would be a waste if they just killed it.
Contrary to popular belief, there is a decent community that's ready to jump back in IF they fulfill their promise and make this game an enjoyable experience.

It definitely deserves it for the broken mess it is atm. But the PS5 version, is a 5/6 out of 10 imo.

I've read that it's a buggy mess atm, even with the day one patch...
Also, no console codes have been provided so I'm definitely going to wait for unbiased reviews before even considering the game.

Absolutely bonkers, but it's Ubisoft so I'm not surprised -.-
I remember getting Odyssey and I literally sold the game just because the grind was unbearable and they even had the audacity to promote the XP booster that cost 10 dollars! At least EA's games are fun and stick with the "just cosmetic" excuse.

Loved the premise and the characters! But I feel like they took two steps forward and one step back (in comparison to MoM).
Like Liam states in the cons, the ending definitely was subpar and feels really disconnected to the whole story. Without going into spoilers, it feels a bit pointless.

Greedfall is 60% off too
One of the best 2019 RPG games imo. I totally recommend it.
