The PlayStation Store Spring sale has gotten a welcome refresh halfway through its existence for 2021, bringing a further 250 PS5 and PS4 deals to the online storefront. Much like a handful of discounts from the initial batch, these new price drops will be live through until midnight on 29th April 2021. They can also be taken advantage of right now on the UK, EU, and US storefronts, so let's get right into proceedings.
It's slim pickings as far as PS5 titles are concerned, unfortunately. Marvel's Avengers has dropped to £23.99/$23.99, Watch Dogs Legion is half price at £29.99/$29.99, and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is £38.99/$38.99. Then there's Planet Coaster: Console Edition for £27.99/$34.99, Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is £29.99/$29.99, and Maneater drops to £20.99/$23.99. It's the usual suspects once again when Sony's new system is taken into account.
At least the deals are a little bit more diverse on PS4. Marvel's Iron Man VR drops to £20.99/$23.99, and a couple of recent indie titles have already dropped in price. Curse of the Dead Gods comes in at £12.79/$15.99, Olija is £8.03/$10.04, and Exit the Gungeon can be picked up for £5.59/$6.99. We've also got Crysis Remastered for £13.74, Cuphead drops to £11.99/$14.99, and Inertial Drift for £10.71. Wasteland 3 is half price at £24.99/$29.99 and Outer Wilds can be copped for £11.39/$14.99.
The store pages don't appear to have been updated with these new deals at the time of writing, so we recommend the usual route of heading to PS Prices to take a look at every new discount in the PS Store Spring sale. Simply select either PS5 or PS4 in the top left and then your chosen region opposite. So, it's definitely not the best list of price drops we've ever seen for Sony's online storefront, but maybe there's a game or two you've been waiting on listed here. What will you be purchasing? Share your digital haul in the comments below.

Thanks for the update, but... is it me or are most of these “sales” 90% of the time just bringing out the same old games with rubbish discounts?
Sometimes they go up 😆
Will get Sackboy when on sale, if ever 🤔
@Spoonman-2 you are not wrong 😄 i was thinking that just this morning when looking at the list
Nothing more for me at a decent price here unfortunately. Although I’ll have to go through properly once everything is on the store. Still, now the shops are open I’ll see if I can get some games at CEX as I still have a stupid amount of credit. Hopefully Yakuza 6 and the Catherine Remaster will be available, or Here We Soar.
@thefourfoldroot
Catherine: Full Body is on sale
When you’re more excited by today PS5 firmware update than the spring sale...
Waiting for the Division 2 price drop.....
May pick up crises remaster and possibly avengers
@Spoonman-2
Yes, but I can get it for £6 physically (accounting for trading it back when finished which Sony don’t let us do with finished digital games). I see no reason for paying nearly triple that price given the mound of piled up games I have currently.
Plus, I still have £150 of credit at CEX and want to get it spent, lol.
I'll be grabbing The Outer Wilds. Didn't actually realise it had been released for PS.
Im waiting for Dark Souls PS5 to go on sale. Sony is like Nintendo right now in regard to its newest exclusives.
@LTPenguin I haven't played it and I probably don't plan to lol. That clunky garbage combat is a huge turnoff for me xD
I'd been tempted to pick up Ghost of Tsushima and 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim before their discounts expire today, but I might wait until the next sale. There's already enough games that I'm in the middle of playing as it is.
@God_of_War_ you missed the boat as it was £2 a few months back.
£11 for game, season pass and New York DLC too
@Jacko11 .......FML
I want cuphead but the discount is too stingy only $5 lol.
Is Marvel’s Avengers worth it now with the next-gen upgrade? Thinking about picking it up.
@Relygon I think now the price is low enough for it to be worth it. But stick to the campaign and the free dlc. The extra missions are not that fun for most people and are best ignored.
For me, the final mission of the campaign is all sorts of epic and made the whole purchase worth it.
@Jacko11 @BoldAndBrash
I've been waiting for the standard edition to drop.
Didn't realise the Warlords of New York includes the base game. £14.99......nice.
@God_of_War_ yeah I think they did it to draw fans of the first game to buy or jump back in.
Worked for me as I wasn’t big on the second game, but once they announced the New York DLC I wanted to play that.
Ended up getting really into the DLC and game itself so blasted through the entire base game too with some friends.
How about a few PS3 and Vit........
Not the best sale. Barely any games with all time low prices. Actually, quite a few were even cheaper on their previous sales
You can play Avengers on PS Now. Get a 1 month sub and you're done. Beat it within 3 days.
Campaign was actually good but don't waste your time with online. Its a grindfest and it begs you to pay microtransactions
@God_of_War_ I picked it up in a digital sale last year for 4.99.
Got Gravel Special Edition to play on my PS5 @ 60fps as it was going for less than £5, albeit without HDR as that drops it to 30fps for some strange reason.
@naruball yeah, that was the plan. Mainly interested in the single player campaign. Thanks!
@Netret0120 no PS5 upgrade unfortunately, otherwise I would have done that.
@Spoonman-2 I had the same thought. I think the problem is that I already own all of the games that I really want to play. Everything now is just going to immediately go into my backlog. Haha!
@rjc-32 Unfortunately, Sony have no idea what these devices you're talking about are!
I'll probably pull the trigger on Exit The Gungeon
I’m really stumped with a decision on 3 games...maybe you lot can help. PS5
Watch dog legions (it’s 30fps) 50% off
AC Valhalla Gold 25% off
COD BO Cold War 30%
Hit man 3 25% off
Which offers the best ‘next gen’ experience? I have a feeling none but just need a new game for the PS5 I own all others I find interesting
My Friend Pedro is a fun game. Recommended at half off!
@Pro_V_Gone cod has the best 3d audio and haptics/adaptive triggers. zombies is good this year as well
Having played Just Cause 2 many moons ago....is Just Cause 4 gold edition worth a go? Was so much fun blowing up stuff in 2
Can they please have new stuff at least once? I swear, it looks like the same old stuff recycled again and again on different sales.
@Relygon Yes.
@OmegaStriver I’d be shocked if it’s on sale before the fall. Really no reason to devalue it if there isn’t any competition in the space. Also, very worthwhile paying full price for it.
@Adeathnote I’ll continue to wait. I’ve played the original and am in no hurry to return. I’d rather throw my money at something new, like Returnal or Hood.
