@Marquez It's crazy just how much replayability they offer. The fact that there are five different endings is craazy, and the haunting cases are different based on your choices! Without spoilers, Jane and Squire Paris, for example, can be completely different if you spare or "blame" Thickskin! Glad you enjoyed the game and I hope you have fun on your second playthrough!

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 625

I'm taking my time with Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. I finished a fantastic haunting case where you discover the truth about one character that was all "super sweet and innocent," but it was all a facade, and he's actually a manipulative sociopath... I even chose to "blame" him, despite going for the Ascension ending... The game is such a masterpiece.

Re: Crimson Desert Looks 'Rough' on Base PS5, Here's 25 Minutes of Direct Capture Footage

@GirlVersusGame I think it's typical launch build stuff that can be sorted out relatively quickly. I mean Baldur's Gate III had a f*ck ton of issues and the third act (from what I've seen online) was broken as hell, laggy etc and yet nobody said sh*t to Larian... It's a massive game and of course it's going to be messy at launch but at least it's not broken and unplayable. I'm sure within a month they'll sort out the issues.

Re: 'A Great Showcase for PSSR 2': PS5 Pro's New Upscaler Continues to Get Rave Reviews

Divergent95

Apologies if I'm stirring the beehive, but I've seen some of the toxic PCMR crowd absolutely lose it because the PS5 Pro is literally giving better visuals and performance (thanks to the latest update) compared to some PC rigs that are nearly twice as expensive lmao! Well done Sony! I just wish I could've bought it instead the Slim, but alas, coming off a nasty breakup and being broke because of it limits a person's options 💀💀💀

Re: 'This Would Have Been $30 DLC by Most Studios': Players Praise Ghost of Yotei's Free PS5 Update

Divergent95

Sucker Punch should be more commended for their incredible ability to deliver a AAA level of polish on a much smaller budget. I mean guuurl, didn't Ghost of Yotei cost Sony around 60 million ONLY?!11? And the fact that they made their money back in three days, plus the game is still selling like hotcakes, is a testament to their incredible talent! I just hope now we can pause the Ghost franchise and give us a new Infamous game!

Re: Study Claims Sony's PS5 Games Are Leaving Big PC Sales on the Table

Divergent95

I protested this decision way back when Horizon Zero Dawn was rumored to release on PC and I knew this would bite Sony in the ass. Their whole brand and identity always revolved around exclusives, I mean Jesus Christ, I remember dying to play The Last of Us and I wasn't able. That's one of the main reasons I got a PS4 in the first place! Exclusives SELL CONSOLES and if this wasn't the case, then Nintendo wouldn't be raking in record profits. It's not ANTI CONSUMERRR DUUURRRR, it's business. I haven't heard a single PCMR weirdo lose their marbles over PC gatekeeping such as mods, alpha and beta access for many games, exclusive MMOs etc etc.

Re: Opinion: God of War: Sons of Sparta Is the Smaller PS5 Game Fans Want, and I Hope We See More

Divergent95

While I have the utmost respect for indie titles, I still think AA is the best gap between those 100+ million games and really low-budget indies. Banishers Ghosts of New Eden proved that you can have incredible graphics, great gameplay (bad enemy variation though), and an incredible emotional story that you choose how to tell. Unfortunately, the GAMERS decided NOT TO BUY IT, because waiting for a sale for a AA game will surely fix the whole live service push... Oh wait... 🤡

Re: Sony Returns to PlayStation Exclusivity and Stops Single Player PC Ports, New Report Says

Divergent95

@KoopaTheGamer Disappointing for not making back the money they spent just porting the game to PC? Guurl... If they were ACTUALLY making a sh*t ton of cash from PC, they wouldn't have done this. Sure a couple of their titles, Days Gone being an example have sold reasonably well but again, those numbers are really miniscule, less than 10% of their income compared to console users. So again, how is this "disappointing"? They want their single player games to remain exclusive so that they can sell more consoles and units because we actually buy Sony's first party titles...

Re: Sony Returns to PlayStation Exclusivity and Stops Single Player PC Ports, New Report Says

Divergent95

I clocked this recently lmao, love when I manifest my delusions into reality! Again, for the hundredth time, their games sold POORLY on PC, with Uncharted being an absolute flop. Expect the PCMR weirdos to have a meltdown over this, because it's ANTIII CONSUMERRRRR DUUURRRR!1!!!, but it's not anti consumer when alpha and beta tests for games are only PC, not to mention a lot of other decent titles being PC only...
Glad they have come to their senses, single play first party studio games ARE YOUR FLAGSHIP JUGGERNAUTS that sell consoles Sony!

Re: Rumour: Sony Backtracking on PC Strategy, Shifting Towards PS5 Exclusivity Again

Divergent95

@TrollOfWar This is completely untrue. Days Gone sold more than 8 million copies on Playstation, with PC accounting for around 1 million units sold... Saying that "PC and Steam" saved Bend is a blatant lie. More than 90% of Playstation (single player games) sales come from the PS5 itself. PC is literally less than 10% (realistically between 5 to 8%), so again, mere scraps!

Re: Stellar Blade Will Seemingly Be the Next PS5 Exclusive to Come to Rival Consoles

Divergent95

@Westernwolf4 Sure... because it really worked out for Xbox, right, riiight? Oh wait... it completely backfired and it didn't help Obsidian sell their Outer Worlds 2. I'm sick and tired of this whole kumbaya WHEN EVERYONE PLAYS, WE'RE STRONGER crap. Just look at how many copies Spiderman 2 sold on PC vs PS5 lmao. It's nothing but scraps and I still think Sony should completely abandon porting their first party single player titles to PC because they're not selling well AT ALL.

Edit: Well girlies, I just got dragged to filth but I still think FIRST PARTY single player games from Sony should not be ported to PC anymore. I forgot that Shift Up had Sony as a backer/publisher, not as an acquired studio...

Re: Mobile App Addictions Are Quickly Becoming a Serious Threat to Video Games, Report Claims

Divergent95

It's definitely really concerning, not to mention streaming. I've seen a ton of people who are "into gaming" but just passively consume content, aka watch other streamers play, which is fine, but ultimately, the whole point is to sell the game, right? My biggest fear is that these corporations will try to adapt content for these people who have short attention spans, and I've seen it first hand!

Re: If Crimson Desert Wasn't Ambitious Enough, It Also Has a Mech and Two More Playable Characters

Divergent95

@AhmadSumadi Gurl, it's literally one of the most anticipated games of 2026, if we ignore GTA VI... There's a lot of buzz around it, especially with what they've shown, and people have already set their expectations high. If it doesn't live up to the "hype", it will definitely be forgotten in an instant; that's why I said that there isn't a middle ground for this type of game. Just look at what they've shown and promised...

Re: GDC Survey Reveals Developers Are Twice as Interested in Making Games for PS5 Than Xbox

Divergent95

@Naughtyottsel92 Well, Sony has made some horrible decisions at the beginning of this new console era, and Xbox actually made good choices. That's why I chose to get a Series S back in 2021! But now things have changed, HOWEVER, you should know that a monopoly is never good for the consumer, especially when we're dealing with capitalism.

@OldGamer999 Yeah, the PS4 era definitely had more games coming out but if we're being honest, games have evolved to a point where it's literally impossible to develop one in such a short time, unless it's a short indie experience.
