@TeapotBuddha Oh hun, in my eyes, they're a bunch of liars that were overrated to begin with. I get what you're saying, but if the latest reports are anything to go by, Cyberpunk has a skeleton crew running it, hence the "delay". Trust me, the game is dead and they abandoned it a long time ago.

@TeapotBuddha It's still broken and buggy on last gen consoles, and it's been almost A YEAR since launch.
And they did move on and abandon it, the delay should tell you this. Why waste time when they got their money?

Do people still think they'll "fix" the game or deliver what was promised? After every single conceivable lie from CDPR, there are still people who support this pre-alpha demo?
Move on people, there are more decent studios that deserve your money.

I think the dev team has bitten off more than they can chew. That, or there is something wrong behind the scenes.
There is no reason for this to wait until 2023 imo.

This feels like Cyberpunk, but I hope I'm wrong. Digimon deserves a win, especially after the lukewarm reception of the reboot.

Looks better than I expected, but $59.99? They're probably trying to ride the nostalgia wave, and I hope it doesn't work.
It's not like they are some RPG masterpieces that are a must. Hard pass.

Yeah, it was original for it's time (Demon Souls, Dark Souls etc.), but this is 2021.

Imagine a FromSoft game with Sekiro like combat BUT add in a strong narrative story with actual characters that speak and have a personality.

@KundaliniRising333 Preach. Graphics aren't everything and as an avid player of AA games, I think I'm qualified to say that.
However, after finally caving in, I got myself a copy of Bloodborne and I kinda regret it now.
It's NOT A BAD GAME but seeing the overwhelming praise just proves how the internet hivemind is biased.
Nobody and I mean NOBODY talks about that horrible FromSoft jankiness that shouldn't be present in a AAA game.
Don't forget the clunky combat and controls, LONG loading screens, non existent story, horrible character models, pretentious lore etc etc.
No matter how much I try, I can't fathom why the internet hivemind is so excited about a Dark Souls 3 reskin.

I apologize if I come off as toxic, but this is literally the nicest review of the game so far!
Other independent reviewers claim it's broken, unfinished, unbalanced, and generally is poor compared to the Left 4 Dead games.
And yeah, the card system and the lack of solo progression are big no-nos for me.
World War Z Aftermath trumps this, and that one doesn't have microtransactions. Solo progression is available and it runs buttery smooth on the PS5/XSX systems.

Sounds alright I guess, but it all comes down to the price.
40-50$ sounds reasonable, 60 or 70 is literally DOA.
Imo, GTA has been MILKED TO DEATH and since GTA V is dirt cheap these days, I see no reason why anyone would pay 60 bucks for this trilogy, let alone the rumoured 70!

Meanwhile, Bioware released ME:LE for 60USD, and they actually did a lot of work on that one, especially on the first game.
Knowing Rockstar, this will be a lazy port with upscaled resolutions and maybe a couple of control tweaks.

Downloading now! Generally, I'm not the biggest fan of MP FPS games but I do want to see if it's worth the money.

I tried the demo and I found the combat to be trash. Felt like a knock off DMC with bad "souls" mechanics.
Shame that this sold better than the Surge 2, a far superior game.

@Stragen8 It could be a soft reboot. CD said that they plan to bridge the originals and the reboot trilogy, whatever that means.
And yeah, a new game is years away. They barely started work on it so...

Never played the original, but I am keeping my eye on this one!

@somnambulance That's what I said but people told me I was crazy! It took waay too long for Dontnod to release all episodes and gamers usually don't have that much patience lol. I think the sales suffered too.

As for True Colors, with many reviews saying it's great, I've decided to buy it as soon as possible, probably in a couple of days.

@somnambulance It had an amazing story, but the pacing was all over the place and I think people hated not being able to control the power.
I kinda regret my previous comment about True Colors lol.

I'll say it again, Dontnod should've developed/written this one instead of Deck Nine.
I know that LiS 2 gets a lot of flak, but I truly enjoyed it and it tugged my heartstrings, especially the ending.
Before The Storm was just, and I mean JUST okay.
As much as it pains me to say, this one seems like a wait for a deep sale

Now, we just need some Evil West gameplay!

I just finished the first one, and I must say it's super average. Don't get me wrong, it's a good game but I found it to be a bit uninspiring.

But I can't help but notice how it's "not okay" to criticize Sony, according to certain Push Square users, whereas the same people would immediately jump on the Microsoft hate train without second thought.

@AgentGuapo Umm that's a bit rude. People have every right to complain against anti-consumer practices, especially in the gaming industry. There is not a single valid reason for Sony's price hike, other than pure greed.

@Flaming_Kaiser I'm familiar with that, but I believe that they eventually sorted that out. People have mixed up Focus with Nacon. It's actually them who screwed over Frogwares.

@Flaming_Kaiser Umm... How is Focus a "scummy" publisher? Not that I'm defending them, but they've published amazing games throughout the years, and so far haven't adopted any live service stuff.

Hopefully EA can assign a big dev team to help develop the new game faster.

@viktorcode To be fair, Kojima Productions said that DS was "profitable" and that they recuperated dev costs. Still below Sony's expectations, considering the hype and marketing.

I remember reading somewhere that Sony wasn't pleased with DS sale numbers and I don't blame them.
But the game is truly underrated and it deserves more success.

I'm doing an evil playthrough of Vampyr! Felt a bit gutted after "embracing" some innocent citizens, but I promised myself to pull through lol.

EA has definitely turned over a new leaf. Dragon Age and Mass Effect will be single player only + Dead Space Remake won't contain micro transactions.
If they keep it up, then maybe I'll be more excited about AAA games.
