@get2sammyb the amount of games for "less capable gamers" is higher than ever nowadays, while games that have the balls to demand a skill from a player are rare a f. Besides, it's Ninja Gaiden. Easy Ninja Gaiden makes as much sense as a hardcore Kirby, or Sesame Street game with blood and gore.
@Flaming_Kaiser assuming much, dear? I love female characters and I wish there were more of them (as long as they don't look like Concord rejects). It's just if gameplay is absolutely the same and the game's whole premise is indeed a quest for vengeance,
then I'm skipping for sure. I liked Tsushima, but not so much that I'm interested in Tsusima 1.5 with worse story. That's exactly what Spider Man 2 was.
P.S. Yeah, two of three games I mentioned have female protagonists. Oof, what a hater I am.
I enjoyed Tsushima, but can't really get excited about "quest for vengeance". But no biggie, my autumn gaming time will be dominated by Silent Hill f, Ninja Gaiden 4 and, hopefully, Metroid Prime 4.
My Switch 2 finally arrived, so I've been on a platforming spree before new Donkey Kong. Nearly done with Kirby Forgotten Land, replaying Super Mario Odyssey (still awesome), finishing up Hat in Time, that one on PS5 though.
My slim PS3 was bundled with inFamous (and Killzone 2), and my PS4 was bundled with Second Son, so obviously that was first games I played on my new systems. Good times.
I didn't overlook it, I bought it day one and enjoyed thoroughly. If you enjoy MonHun games and aren't allergic to anime, I wholeheartedly recommend it. Oh, and music during boss fights slaps.
Oh please. Games are still coming out for PS4, there was no tech breakthroughs at all, PS5 Pro costs like four minimum wages here, and Sony already tries to sell PS6?! Well, good luck.
My Switch 2 finally cleared customs and should arrive tomorrow or on Monday. So this week I was just putting rounds in Mario Kart 8D before moving on to World, and just occasionally playing AC Shadows. And tomorrow I'm going to play russian billiard with my friend, I really want to get better at it.
I really don't like Dead Space, but I'm interested in Pragmata. Capcom makes great games, but lately they are way too focused on Resident Evil/Street Fighter/Monster Hunter, it's nice to see something new for a change.
I like Dark Souls. I hate it's influence. I want more challenging, tough as nails games, but without estus flasks, corpse runs and attack mapped to R1.
@Lup mainly country if origin, but sometimes setting too, like Persian in PoP Lost Crown or Sicilian in Mafia Old Country. Oh, and I absolutely dislike God of War, both old and new.
I finally managed to secure a Switch 2 for myself, but it will arrive only in two weeks, so for now I'm finishing some other stuff.
Lies of P: Overture (Steam Deck) Brilliant add-on for already great game, and I'm very glad I finished it before nerf. Gunblade is so satisfying.
Sleeping Dogs (PS5) A man who never played Sleeping Dogs is never a man full. Loved that game on PS3, bought PS4 version ages ago, but only managed to get to it now. Base game is as good as I remember it, but DLC... Well... It sucks, no two ways about it. Can't recommend it to anyone.
Crypt Custodian (Gamepass) Very charming and engaging metroidvania with topdown gameplay. Ending was a real tearjerker, made me go and hug my cat.
This weekend I'll probably return to AC Shadows, I bought it a month ago but what it managed to do was make me return to Rise of the Ronin and platinum it. That's it for now, have a nice weekend everyone.

Re: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 (PS5) - An Imperfect Remake, But a Great Skateboarding Game
THPS4 was made from the ground up by 50 people in a year. Castrating it in the remake is simply unforgivable.
Re: Poll: Are You Sold on Ghost of Yotei?
Majority of this site was hyped even before a second of gameplay footage. Being a Sony's first party game is enough to make people moist.
Re: Astro Bot Has Added Its Most Wanted Cameo in Huge PS5 Update
@JackiePriest yeah, 2B pimping was matched only by Joker from P5.
Re: Ninja Gaiden Ragebound Looks Ridiculously Good in This PS5, PS4 Gameplay
@Jrs1 that's exactly the problem, every challenging game is just another soulslike.

Re: Ninja Gaiden Ragebound Looks Ridiculously Good in This PS5, PS4 Gameplay
Yes, my only concern is how well tuned the difficulty will be. It would be a waste if the game is easier than previous games on NES.
Re: Twisted Metal Shapes Up for Another Season of Sublimely Stupid Television
First season was somehow better than it had any right to be.

Re: Round Up: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 PS5 Reviews Say Shove-It to the Sceptics
Yeah, I read gamespot review and it confirmed that THPS4 was butchered beyond belief. Won't touch this ***** even on gamepass.

Re: Anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 Officially Announced by Studio Trigger
Gee, I don't know. I very much enjoyed Edgerunners, much more than the game itself, but the story was pretty much over and done.
Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Death Stranding 2?
Kojima can't write a good story to save his life/10

@Oram77 Please no! Anything but that! I want them to stay independent and publish SB2 without Sony at all.

Re: K-Pop Supergroup Aespa Gives Street Fighter 6 Whiplash in PS5, PS4 Crossover Event
Seriously, I'm getting way too old for this ship. I'll stick to Guilty Gear and it's references to metal bands for old farts like me.

I definitely tried to like previous Kojima games, but eww no. He has some good ideas, but can't write a good story to save his life.
Re: Preview: Don't Sleep on Capcom's Pragmata, the Most Inventive PS5 Shooter in Years
@Oram77 I'm not saying they shouldn't, but throwing a bone to Mega Man/Breath of Fire enjoyers once in a while would be appreciated.
@get2sammyb yeah, I really enjoyed Kunitsu-Gami, shame not many people did. Looking forward to Onimusha too.

@get2sammyb undisputed? Every single person who plays video games considered Astro Bot their game of the year? Really?

Why so many people here act not like players, but Sony shareholders?

I'm sure he did a great job, but I played with French voiceover. I prefer to play every game with native voices.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 586
@Steame yes and no. It often crashes at the start when loading a game. But once it manages to start it runs flawlessly without any issues.
