Ninja Gaiden 4 is out on PS5 this week, and that means its Trophy list is already available to peruse right there on Sony's servers.
Given the series' hardcore reputation, we wanted to take a peek at this list to see whether the game's going to be a nightmare to Platinum — and guess what? It is. Well, kind of.
In truth, the Trophies aren't quite as demanding as we thought they would be, but you're still going to need some serious skill if you want to walk away with the all-important Plat.
There are 45 Trophies in all: 1 Platinum, 3 Gold, 5 Silver, and 36 Bronze.

Without spoiling anything, a good chunk of these gongs are tied to progressing through the title's campaign — and there are a bunch of combat-related trinkets that you'll probably unlock along the way. It all looks fairly straightforward, for the most part.
But in typical Ninja Gaiden fashion, you'll also have to conquer the game's toughest challenges to be granted a smattering of Gold and Silver Trophies.
This includes beating the game on the hardest difficulty setting — Master Ninja — and completing all of the title's special Purgatory Trials. We wish you the best of luck.
There are also a handful of Trophies that ask you to evade every environmental hazard across a total of four different stages. And no, you can't make use of 'Auto Movement' — one of the game's easy difficulty modifiers.
To be fair, Ninja Gaiden isn't the kind of property that attracts a wider audience to begin with, so we can see its Trophy completion rate being reasonably high. We'd bet on hardcore players bleeding the combat system's secrets dry in a matter of days.
