Greetings, good people. Today is the last day when the temperature is above 20°, so I'll be outside. Been working my way through Mafia Old Country and Ninja Gaiden Ragebound until Iwakura Aria released on Thursday, now I can't tear myself off it.
I really hope that unlike Kunitsu-Gami this sells and Capcom won't become RE/SF/MonHun only company. Then again I should know better than count on western audience tastes.
I turned 37 today. Maybe in 30 years or something I'll suck at hardcore platformers, but until then I'll have a great time playing games like this. Will get Ninja Gaiden today and Shinobi on release.
Today I'm going to watch new Mission Impossible, so not much gaming time. Yesterday I finally finished Atelier Lulua. Truly a wonderful charming game, but true ending grind takes forever, so I'm deciding if I just can watch it on youtube and move on to next game.
Also I started Wuchang. Yes, PC performance is far from perfect, I get stutter when entering new area, but luckily in actual battles everything works fine. And the game is very beautiful, much prettier than grey stone walls and dark caves from everyone's favourite developer. And while I have yet to encounter interesting enemies, skills and spells system makes combat much more engaging than From ever done.
That's not even a mini-review, it's non-review. What about combat mechanics, skill tree, spells, customisation? What about the story? This article has as much value as a tweet saying "I didn't like it".
Loved it on PS4 and got the platinum. But when I tried Director's Cut on PS5, I had to force myself to even finish it, open-world fatigue finally kicked in.
First thing, valm down, people, it's impossible to sell Golden content as DLC because it's spread through the whole game from the beginning. Second, I really hope that characters' stories remain unchanged and Atlus won't pander to people who unironically use the word "problematic".

Re: The Next Tales of Remaster Will Be Officially Announced Tomorrow
My favourite Tales games, but I'm perfectly happy with originals on PS3. Now if that would be a remake, that'll be a different story.

Bought it on steam and having a great time. Sicilia is amazing setting, so glad it's not yet another game set in USA.

Comment section is an explanation why PS has way less VNs than Switch or PC.
Re: Round Up: Total Lack of Mafia: The Old Country PS5 Reviews Is a Red Flag
I'll get it on steam and enjoy it way more than overhyped pretentious "deep cinematic experience" from video game god and company. Love me some Mafia.
Re: Clair Obscur Director Says Turn-Based JRPGs Are Still Seen as 'Uncool'
For me JRPGs live and die by stories and characters. Both turn-based and real-time systems can be good or bad.
Re: Marvel Tokon Will Be Supported into PS6 Generation and Beyond
Horrible, I don't want my favourite fighting devs to commit for so long for a marvel game.

Re: Poll: What Was Your PS5 Game of the Month for July 2025?
Donkey Kong Bananza for sure. But from those available on PS easily Wuchang, though I played it on PC.

Why not the first one though? I remember being pretty disappointed by the sequel.

That really worries me, I hope it's not designed around multiplayer.

@pharos_haven it's not his own game, he shared it with War.

Poor Strife didn't get a game of his own.

For now Clair Obscur is the best game of 2025, but I hope as much as I can that Silent Hill f will dethrone it.

@LikelySatan I think it's hands down best entry in the series, but I guess Satan knows better.
