I bought and tried Metroid Prime 4. I played for about five hours and downloaded Prime remaster. Seriously, classical "You and the guy she tells you not to worry about" situation. Where has all the talent gone?

Other than that, I'm having a blast with Wuchang Fallen Feathers. This game has talent in spades. Seriously, I'm amazed how a debut game from a new developer nailed the soulslike combat, it feels better than the actual Souls games. Very excited to see future projects from these guys.

@DennisReynolds there is no need to pretend. Gameplay is fine, but the writing was beyond horrible.

Lara we all know and love is dead. And I'm afraid the new game will just take a dump on her corpse.

I hope it will be much better than Black Myth Wukong cause I didn't like Wukong at all. Wuchang, on the other hand, is excellent.

This week I identify as a game boy. No, really, it only took eight years for Nintendo to add control mapping to game boy games on Switch so they are finally playable for me. So I've completed two Mario Land games. And while the first one is simple little game only good as a piece of history, the second one is actually great! Level design is superb and the variety of stages, enemies and bosses is off the charts. I've really enjoyed that game more than any so-called "new" Mario Bros.

I also started Metroid Prime... Hunters. No, really, I already bought Prime 4, but decided to finish the only Metroid game I didn't finish before starting it. I tried it on DS when it came out and found it awful. Now thanks to melonprime it's playable at least. Doubt I'll get much enjoyment out of it, but I need to close gestalt.

I really want this game to be good, but for now it looks like nothing more than Hitman with a car.

Really depends on the price. I remember playing it on PS1 and liking it, but never finished.

Picture didn't load for me, but based on text I suspect it's about burger king.

Those are not bad games per se, they are just not the games that I want to play. I might try Killing Floor 3 since it has crossplay so I could play with my friends on PC, but that's it.

A good list (for making a boring taste bingo)

If you have psplus extra and half an hour or spare time, play Forspoken. Just to be astonished how such a game made it to the release. But keep a bucket nearby, just in case.

I won't say that X is the best FF game there is, but I'll certainly say that it's the last great single-player FF game.

Does anyone know if Killing Floor 3 has a crossplay with PC?

Great system, best controller ever, pairing with steam deck works wonderfully, exclusives are boring beyond belief. Moving to California was biggest mistake. Luckily it's not my only system and and I don't have a shortage of great games to play.

Imagine if a remake would have AC battle system and automatic platforming like everything else today. A game would be ruined, but I won't be surprised.

Say that you prefer Nathan Drake to walking wardrobes from Gears of War and everything's fine. Say that you prefer pretty women from eastern games to ugly women from western games and suddenly you are -ist, -er and -phobe.

So three first party games in 2026, two of them is Marvel and third is roguelike. I'm glad I don't like Sony's games.

Maybe Hoyo will look at Stellar Blade success and make a full single-player game instead of another phone gacha? Nah, not a chance.

@AdamNovice wrong on all accounts. I love characters with flaws and dislike boring Jesuses. I always prefer female characters and would have disliked Aloy even more if she was a dude. But considering your avatar you already condemned me no matter what I say.

I bought Zero Dawn on release. I started it FOUR TIMES, two on PS4 and another two on PS5. I just couldn't finish it. Many reasons: poor melee system, very boring fights with human enemies, primitive stealth, long treks from point A to point B with nothing interesting in between... Still I could live with all that. But the writing - oh my god, it's so bad! Everyone has a lot to say and a very little to actually tell, and the protagonist is insufferable. People say she is even worse in the sequel, I can't imagine it. I have Forbidden West copy that was bundled with my PS5, it's still wrapped.

Free ride in the first Mafia game had very fun mini-missions, looking forward to trying it in Old Country.

Game is already on PS4, therefore available on PS5, on PC and runs at 60 fps. What is the point?! But then again, people were singing praises for Horizon "remake", what do I know?

Just finished it today. It was a pleasant quality game, but I doubt I will return for platinum, much less the ng+.

I doubt we'll ever get another proper Ratchet game since Insomniac might as well be renamed into Marvel studio.

So one game a month for premium is a new standard here to stay. Shame.

So when I pirate a game, I'm loaning it rather than stealing outright.
