Understand if they don't want to add a campaign (as long as multilayer is well polished) but shame there Is no campaign as the way they have pre-contexualised everything could have set up a really good and impact full campaign.

Great game with stunning visual,no load times and a strong gameplay loop with excellent pacing that always made me say "just one more section" to myself at 2:00am in the morning. The only criticism I could give was for the money £70 it was a little on the shorter side only taking me 19 hours to platinum. Think the game could of perhaps done with 1 more planet to take it up to the 20 hour pluse mark to platinum. I would give it a 9/10, 100% recommend even at the full £70.

Appreciate them putting the games on new gen systems but would much rather off had a full on remake of one game rather than a port of 3 outdated games.

I understand the whole thing they went for with the individual back ground for each game on the ps5 but it makes your console feel so un-personal. Perhaps they could keep the current system of each game having its own background but maybe let us change the background of each game so we can ever have themes back or say have the standard background for most games but say have a screenshot from a moment on one game.e.g a screenshot of a boss you defeated that appears when selecting spider man.

Hope it doesn't realise this year as I will win a £10 bet.

Played the demo for this on ps5 and I loved it was waiting for the upgrade before I buy it and with the benefits this upgrade brings I am glad I decided to wait.

@solocapers I know why, but even with hard drives in mind you get games like ghost of tsushima or destiny 2 that can have large expansive worlds and keep the game under 70gb on a hard drive. Activision are just lazy and don't want to put the effort in.

It just makes me annoyed when I see developers that put probably a 15-20 hour game if you collect everything into 33gb and publisher like activation make a game with one map that uses a relatively simple texture palate over 100gb.

@RBMango Not saying the practise should be put on a pedastall but I don't think it's something that is 100% wrong as the money Sony gives for a timed exclusive can help smaller developers raise the capital they need but I agree its not the best practices for big AAA third party games.

Definitely think this is a smart move for sony with cross play becoming a standard in today's gaming. console players needs a way to communicate with people on pc and xbox without using awful game chat. Just hope sony integrate it so we can balance game and chat volume like in ps partys.

This games look absolutely amazing and can't wait to play it. They have managed to keep the game familiar to the series but managed to change it up in some much needed ways. Would like to see some gameplay differences between ratchet and rivet but if we don't get any not to bothered.

Don't think I want a last of us part 3. I wanted a sequel but I do not think I need a third game I am pretty happy with the way the story ended. At most I would maybe like a prolog type dlc that's maybe 5-10 hours long. Just to fully close of Ellies and potential abbies story lines.

@Loftimus this isn't a confirmation it's coming. It is just a confirmation that they have an idea which by the sounds of it they won't be going ahead with it. Don't get your hopes up.

Just hope that they include haptic feedback and adaptive triggers as playing cold war and then warzone with the exact same weapons just feels weird and like sometimes is missing.

@nessisonett I think it's less the matter of games are harder to develop on the ps5 but more the fact developers have to optimise games for 2 new console (ps5 and series x) and when it comes to crunch time developers will put more effort into making sure the game runs well on the platforms that most people will play on (last gen consoles). I would have to imagine once developers drop last gen consoles support we should see more ambitious things on new gen.

I just hope in the future they don't get media molecule to make a sack boy 2 as I think sumo digital did a great job in the direction they took the franchise and I would love for them to make a sequel.

@Juanalf 100% agree with you, I think it was the best way they could of brought sackboy back. I just hope they can get sumo digital to do another one 🤞.

@Coltaine22 putting it on xbox is not stupid. The amount of time and money sony have probably put into this multi player last of us mode they will want people to stick around for long term to make more money and the one key aspect of a multi player title is playing with you friends with many big games like cod having cross play many people play with others on many different platforms. So why would you choice to stick around with a game that you can't play with half your freinds. Where as if this last of us 2 multi player is on all platforms it encourages people to stick around making the game a long term success not just a short term.

I think for this game to have a bigger more long term audience it needs to be on pc and xbox this would allow the player base to be bigger and can make financial sense as it introduces people to the last of us 2 world which could lead to some console sales.

@Weebleman kena:Bridge of spirits is meant to be out in March so we could be getting that as a PS plus game but if we do I highly doubt we will see anything else big in the PS plus line up but I'm happy to be proven wrong and if I am I give Sony applause for two great months.

@Dezzy70 A couple of realise dates is not a good job we actually need more gameplay and promotions for these games. You are correct in terms that there doing better than other companies but why should we settle for the best of the worst. Coming from a long term Sony fan people are giving Sony to much credit for very little news (e.g realise dates) which can end up changing anyway.

I think the probably in the UK is games are normally £50 and Sony had decided to jump an extra £20 to match the US price whereas I think if they just raised by £10 to £60 then people wouldn't be moaning as much. Take sackboy for example, some people moaned about the £60 price tag but many were okay with it and with a big AAA game like ratchet and clank if think people would be okay with a £60 price tag. Overall I think £70 price tag will hurt many new Sony IP like returnals but big existing IP, i think will do okay with new price tag as people will still pay the premium as they know what there getting themselves into.

@Hyperluminal As other have said on cod you can permanently mute voice chat. But I think the reason it became a big issue in this game was since everyone now has a built in mic on ps5 in game voice partys are filled with annoying people that blast music down the mic

@Hyperluminal The issue wasn't nonsense when you are playing for longer periods of time those few clicks you have to do (potentially every 4-5 minutes depending on the game mode) really start to get annoying.

Even if Microsoft did start charging I think Sony would of come along a done it not that far later. Nothing comes for free so it was enevitable that it would cost as online got bigger. Don't think you can fully blame Microsoft.

Got the ps5 but trying to get the headset which seems like it will be out of stock for awhile.

Let's be honest the game won't come out in 2021, I'm going 2022 earliest.

Though this might be a problem and turns out it is,will just have to put up with it for the next couple of year until the generation transition is over.

@OmegaStriver transferring will only be as fast as your slowest drive so what ever the max read/write speed of your external will be your transfer speed.

Think at this point they should just realise pc and next gen version on 19th as they said it would be ready for those platforms and then realise current gen when ready or never If they can't optimise it enough to run well.

Great game, well put together and deserves all the praise it can get. The only problem i had with it was the open world got a bit boring and repetitive after the first section. And if you collect everything at the begging by the time you get to act two there is not point to do anything as you have all the upgrades you need.

Probably give days gone a go but have played the rest or don't want too. What I want to know is how long will this collection be available for?

Can you tell us when each embargo will be lifted so we no what to look forward to and when?

Normally love this guy for tech news but this just showed clear byest towards xbox,the only saving grace he had was that the video was at least informative and he gave a honest opinion (well we think).

Quick Resume would be an nice feature to have only need it between 2 or 3 games like know one needs there whole library open at once but if its not a feature on the ps5 it's not a deal breaker as destruction all start took 8 seconds to boot from a cold state so its not like you will be waiting long to get into the action.

I mean if its not an Easter egg it doesn't really matter if it is just on boot up like not seeing the clock for 5-10 seconds doesn't really matter but if this happens every time you hit the ps button then we have a problem.

Good feature to have shame it is locked behind ps plus will be interesting to see how many 3rd part studios take advantage of this.

Love the ui just thing the whole new creation button they went on about is a bit pointless it seems like the existing system on ps4. But we are yet to see there might be more features coming when you hold it down.

Think there should be an option "will use it a lot at first but once more next gen games come out will never use it"

Shame to see these games go, although not played often, they were fun to play as a party game and you knew even old grandma could get involved with a bit of support.

Love this idear should be a useful way to help keep the console clean but will have to see how effective it is when the console launches.

I think for at least the first year of ps pluse we will only see the 2 ps4 titles each month witch will be backwards compatible with the ps5. And then after the first year as more ps5 exclusive will have launched through the first year. we might see 2 ps4 games and 1 ps5 game (will most likely be indi title) after year one, but I think it will take a good year and a half to 2 years before we see ps5 exclusive being the main title of ps pluse and ps4 games will start becoming less frequent.

@Noob_Saibot my bad I though you meant the new last of us (should of read properly 🤦‍♂️) yea the first last of us could definitely do 120fps at 4k (might be 1800p upscaled) do not thing it will do ray tracing as putting feature like ray tracing in takes some time and I do not think sony will bother with a game that old especially as the sequel is out.

Definitely think this multiplayer mode will be free to anyone who owns last of us 2 but will be available to buy as a separate thing and maybe will be on pc as well (potentially xbox) as this could entice people into playing the main game and buying a ps4/ps5.

@Noob_Saibot I would cross your finger, most likely be 4k 60fps or if they put more effort into it there will be a 4k 30fps with ray tracing and upgraded assets.

When console manufacturers go on about 120fps capable there will be there few game with 120fps and if there is, it will only run at 1080p and maybe 720p.

I went in to this generation expecting games to go from £50-£60 and I was willing to pay this because I realise game prices have not gone up in recent years but paying £70 for a game is just unreasonable and looking at prices for next gen games from game it seems the industry is in disagreement on what to price there games at I just hope other people don't follow sony at £70 and the industry setteles down at £60.
