I mean a little pointless making it an exclusive considering no one buys games on Xbox if it's not in game pass. But then I guess given development timelines Sony are probably trying to line this up as a PS6 launch window exclusive.

@mountain_spider Yea finger crossed a remake happens 🤞. Part 4 is out on PS5, Xbox and PC on the same day. Only different is that it's on game pass day one.

@mountain_spider would not be surprised is we potentially see a full remake of the first game at some point if 2 continues to sell well and 4 also does. This remaster was definitely made as a tester for the demand of bringing the old games back without committing to a full remake.

Would love for a sackboy: big adventure sequel one of the best platformers I've played in years. While I liked LBP much preferred the 3D approach taken in sackboy.

Great to see the series back but wished they would remaster/remake the first game was the best one by far.

Really hope they fix the pacing of progression and getting upgrades as if you someone who like to do everything bye then end of the 1st main section I had pretty much every upgrade I could want and the drive to explore became non-existent as felt unrewarded.

Understand if your a 100% person your gonna be more powerful quicker but it was just way to quick in ghost 1

Feel like a good portion of this increase is due to game price increase and micro transaction becoming at least a couple of pounds more expensive in most games. Would be interesting to get numbers on total number of transactions between generations.

@Konks there not finished was destiny after the final shape they have announced 3 episodes (kinda like seasons) to come out in the year after final shape but it is unclear what will come after that. Probably depends on the Success of the final shape bringing player back and how far off marathon is.

Loved both god of war games, while I think (2018) was more revolutionary for the series and Ragnarok didn't iterate on that much overall think Ragnarok is the refined version of 2018 and is better in every aspect.

Not a massive update but been waiting for light controls since launch, hopefully can have console on rest mode now without the light bothering me at night.

@Sakai Sony wouldn't want gamepass as is on there platform but they would like a version of it where it just Xbox 1st party games. Would be a win win for both sides as for Sony it helps retain and gain customer and for Xbox increases game pass subscribers (which is their main focus).

@Tharsman tell me about it metacritic really need to do something against those types of reviews. I've come to accept a metacritic score will likely go down by 1 (at minimum) a couple of days post release.

Great to see insomniac get a 90+ game on metacritic haven't got one in a while and deserve it. Lets hope the few reviews that come in late don't drag the score just below 90.

Great we can now mute the beeping sound, but wish in a future update they would let us turn of the orange light when console is in rest mode. Can be a bit annoying for those with console in bedroom and are a bit sensitive to light when sleeping.

Another god of war would be nice but think Santa Monica should work on something non god of war related before returning to the franchise as they haven't really realised anything major outside of GOW for a while now.

Do know how much a pro model is needed but let's hope it can hit native 4k (not upscaled) 60fps then an optional 60fps + raytrace + upscaled 4k (hopefully 1440p or 1800p)

@RobynAlecksys while I do see you point and there is definitely issues with both the games I mentioned there still must be something fundamentally good/enjoyable that keeps people coming back otherwise these games would lose all but it's harcore fanbase which wouldn't be enough to keep it supported/well funded.

@HUMPERDOO got to disagree with you there look at games like destiny or elder scroll online they both were full price games have yearly dlc and contain microtransactions. Yet they have both been going for years, it's shows people are willing to spend money if the game is of a good enough quality at launch or improves itself rather quickly in destiny's case.

Personally never enjoyed the metro series even when it went semi-open world, but can appreciate the high quality that the games have and am happy for fans of the series. Finger crossed the sequel is everything the fans want.

Really hope this leak is correct 70 hours for 100% is prefect time for me. not to long like assassins creed 100+ and not to short for the type of game It is.

Really enjoyed game awards this year, alot of fun to watch. Think ragnarock should of got game of the year, was one of the few games that always made me want more when putting the controller down.
(Before people say im a buthurt fan boy I can see why elden ring won as is a great game just not for me personally)

Would potential like to see a smaller scale atreus spin off where he is adult to rap up that story line but apart from that happy to not seen anything from the GOW franchise for a while now. Without spoilers the story ends In a great place for the franchise and would be nice to see the studio work on other new IPs and come back to the franchise later.

@dschons Had a look only setting I can find on it is to extend puzzle timers for accessibility reason,unless I am being blind which is also likely 😂.

Definitely like a hint system but some games are to aggressive. Would say the GOW ragnarock criticism is a fare one from my 10 hours play time really wish there was a way to delay hints so still get them if absolutely stuck but given more of a chance to think for yourself.

Personally never used photo mode to much in games there a nice additions but nothing critical to my enjoyment. Would much rather the game ship than them delay it a month just to add a photo mode and other small non critical features.

Fully get the idear it's meant to be angled as a premium product but £209 is a bit extreme especially due to the current global cost of living issues (some country more than others). This show how now Sony are back on top they no longer care about the average consumer and are back to elitism, like why not come out with a back button attachment (e.g the ps4 one) for a cheaper price (e.g £40-60) then market this controller for the people who want a more integrated and luxury experience, which is what the current price point already leans its self too. As someone who has been a Sony supporter for some time now it is getting harder and harder to defend the company.

Would be good if they can confirm if the balanced graphics mode will come to ps5, not bothered if it doesn't but would be nice to be informed.

Ps pluse extra list seem decent for the price as long as the quality is same level across the whole catalog. Don't think the ps pluse premium is worth it at the moment considering most games I'm interested in are ps3 streaming which for me is just to inconsistent and have no interest in most games form ps2/ps1 generations.

This definitely makes the game more appealing to buy the only reservation I have at the moment is the combat could get a bit stale with you character just standing there casting spells why you hit buttons on a controller ( this isn't the developer fault just the nature of a Harry Potter game but hopefully I'm wrong)

Think people overlook that the end of this trailer implies that aloy is controlling a bird machine which although could just be for the trailer might implie we will get the ability to fly bird machines this time.

If the game is as good as that trailer and they can fix the lip syncing issues I'm all in. Don't think it's one to pre-order will wait for reviews before I'm fully convinced.

Will be interesting to see sonys success rate with live service game with most publishers already giving it ago and failing wonder if Sony along with the help of bungi can make 10 successful live service games or if at the end of it all only 2 or 3 will succeed.

Even though they won't be making any playstation exclusives for the very foreseeable future I'm still exited and as a big destiny fan this will give bungie the stable financial backing they need to fully turn destiny into what I know it can be.

Hopefully this is just the start really want full integration so I can just hop into discord call on my playstation.

Forgot about this but remember it had aome potential when I played it. Hopefully they can take the good aspects and use it to develop a better game

Fully aware Sony won't make 1st part games avaliable day one but feel like they should do discounted day one if your a tier 3 subscriber. Say £50 day one instead £70.
This makes more sense for Sony as they can still make a profit (all bit it a bit of a smaller one) and it also locks people into there ecosystem even more as people who buy there games disc (where Sony gets less money overall) will now by digital as there getting a £20 discounted and Sony will get the full £50 (minus VAT).

@AFCC Can see where you coming from but it's been proven time and time again these games can be turned around I mean bungie done it twice. Perhaps atleast give the game a full year before shutting the book on it.

Can see why some people might be upset about the state of play but i think Sony did set the expectations of nothing major but people don't seem to always get that. People tend to here state of play and then not read on. Think Sony need to do a Nintendo and have 2 different event names. The main one being state of play for bigger announcements/gameplay and then a small one perhaps called state of indie for these smaller showcases. Will help clear up alot of the confusion and set expectations better.

@nessisonett I will give you that this update should of come out much quicker as I'm sure adding save isn't the easiest but probably not that hard to take 6 months.

Think this make total sense from both the business side a consumer side. Business side means Sony can make money from selling the port and more importantly bring in new fans for the sequel which will drive more console sales. And for the consumer it means more people get to experience an amazing 10/10 game without any ps players feel cheated as the game came out 3 years ago and up to this point fallen largely out of relevance and off most people's radar.

Think the current rate of marvel games from sony is good. Wouldn't be closed minded to other studios making marvel games but Sony would have to strike a fine balance and not let its other I.p suffer from it.

Slightly disappointed that it won't be a trilogy but if only doing 2 games makes ragnarok better then I'm all for it. Sad to think this could be the last god of war game we ever get or at the very least will probably be the last for a while.

Playing the game myself his points are valid, but the only section I would disagree with is saying the planets with dimension changing purple crystals would not require an SSD.
