@jcvandan the gacha is pretty generous tbf. Every 70 pulls on a banner takes you to the soft pity cap, every 90 guarantees a 50/50 pull on the banners 5* character. If you lose the 50/50 you get another 5* character and your next 5* is guaranteed to be the banners character. The pity count continues between premium banners as well, so you don't start over each time. The next banner has Zhongli, the best shielder in the game and definitely worth having a crack at. Much of what people are loving about Elden Ring was present in DD. Tough enemies, great bosses, distinct combat builds, an inventive world that is begging to be explored and a plot that's happy to sit in the background letting you engage with it on your own terms. It baffles me how it sank without a trace.

Re: Cyberpunk Shooter-RPG The Ascent Guns for March Release Date on PS5, PS4

It's not great. It looks good but its about as generic a cyberpunk world you can get. The plot and characters could be torn from a cyberpunk-101 writing manual. Gameplay gets boring very fast with endless trash mobs and more padding than fat-suit, especially in the second half. I wanted to love this game as I love both Ruiner and Diablo but this was straight up generic tier trash.

Re: Talking Point: In Theory, Could Xbox Game Pass Come to PS5, PS4?

Microsoft's product this gen is gamepass, the series x/s exist to showcase it. If they openly stated they want to bring it to Playstation they'll have backed Sony into a corner, plenty of PS gamers would be furious if they turned it down. Once they've hooked most of the market you can guarantee all the ridiculous deals they are always offering on the price of subscription will vanish.

Re: Battlefield 2042 Could Potentially Go Free-to-Play After Poor Performance on PS5, PS4

The specialists break what battlefield was about. Everyone working in a fireteam had a defined role and was easily identifiable by how they looked. Now no one is really sure who does what and solo 'hero' play is the default. It also feels like the trailer with all the crazy stuff happening is only achievable by only the highest ability players, everyone else just exists for them to rack up their kills and make them look fantastic on their streams
