Hands up if you're still playing Destruction AllStars? The frantic, car-wrecking multiplayer title is still in its infancy, but Lucid Games is keeping things ticking with pretty regular updates. The latest is available now on PlayStation 5.
While the patch notes for update 1.2.4 aren't terribly exciting, it's another important step in the right direction. Highlights in this update include a server region for Australia, the ability to change your server location in the settings, and a bunch more fixes for game crashes.
So far, these patches have addressed the community's issues with the game, but hopefully some more elaborate changes and additions are made soon. The developer has promised there will be plenty of new content coming down the line, including new characters, modes, and more. Fingers crossed these things aren't too far away.

I'm still playing it a few times every day and I'm not even a fan of multiplayer games but I'm surprised how this game has grabbed me.Not won a match yet but still having fun regardless.Gridfall is by far my favourite mode.
It honestly upsets me how bad this game is on a fundamental level after having such high hopes!!
It was fun for a few days but I’ll come back in 12 months when they’ve added the rest of the game.
Still playing at least one or two games most nights, and enjoying it. There seems to be plenty of other people playing too as I think the longest I've had to wait for match making has been a minute or two.
@Wazeddie22 Gridfall is my favourite as well and having come 2nd a few times I've been close to that solo win. Annoyingly I was down to the last two the other night and must have been sleeping as I got barged clean off the grid by the other player.
@Playstation I'd have to agree, I don't think it's a terrible game but it's not what I hoped for. The driving is fun but as soon as you go to attack someone whether in car and especially on foot the game feels really clunky. Outside of trying every single Allstar, once you play a few games you kind of see all the game has to offer.
Isn't terrible by any means but also hasn't kept me going back. happy to play a game every now and again as it is good fun. I think people were expecting much much more, but that's just pipe dreams, there was a reason why this went to plus on release. It's good "free" fun.
My wife and I play everyday. She has never been a MP games person but this one has really grabbed her. Gridfall is a fantastic mode but I wish there was a duo's option!!!
I've tried to like this game but it just is not clicking with me..i keep jumping on and off so something must be keeping me coming back but i cant for the life of me figure out what..
@2cents I mean is not a terrible game per say is just incomplete and depending on who just ask is boring beyond belief. They shouldn't have released it in this state as first impressions are everything and my impression is that is a complete waste of my time.
Might re-install and try out the Aussie servers. Hopefully there are still enough players left to get into matches quickly.
Just got the platinum trophy today, my god it was a chore getting it but finally did it. I've enjoyed it may come back when more content is added but I've played 80 hours and I'm done now 😂
@render Yeah I think out of all the modes,besides being my favourite it seems to be the most likely I will ever come first.I had a go yesterday and was got to third..I didant get barged off by the other players like you however,instead I accidentally hit the eject button and jumped onto a grid as it collapsed lol.
I'm so over this game now. Locking content behind filthy purple currency was the final nail in the coffin for me. I just can't bring myself to go back to it. The gameplay loop of having to build a meter to get your better vehicle to lose it, rinse and repeat, is tiresome. A whole game based around not quite giving you what you want in any way, shame.
Finally damn. The lag me and my friends were getting made us cry

@Playstation haha yeah 80 hours only because I'm in lock down which seems like it's been about 5 years, I'd never get this much time normally and this is all I have played ðŸ˜....
The trophies for characters are hard some are actually easier on grid fall mode as the players are in a smaller space
